“Yummy food, super friendly. I was hungry and they were open late so I was very pleased with the availability. The owner took my order and made it while I waited out front. Maybe 10-15 mins. Not sure, I wasn’t counting. I had nothing else going on so certainly didn’t mind the wait and I ate the loaded nachos for days because they were massive. So much more than at other restaurants! Happy with my service and food. Will be back.”

“I was visiting friends in the area and when asked what I wanted for dinner, I simply said "potatoes". I'm from Boston, so I have spent quite a bit of time at Irish pubs. Never in my life have I been so delighted by one from the second I walked through the door to the second I walked out! The staff (especially our server) was attentive without being intrusive, helpful with menu choices, incredibly friendly, kind, and accommodating -- helping to make our visit even more special. Our food was an incredible highlight -- I was expecting "pub food", but this was WAY better than that! The skill, knowledge, heart and passion that it put into the food here is mind blowing. From our starters (bucket of fries and boxtys) to our meals (fried chicken sandwich, fish & chips, and meatloaf) -- portions were made for leftovers and you knew from the first bite that this was not just "pub food" -- these were dishes were made fresh and with a lot of love and care. Everything was seasoned to perfection, dips and sauces were just right, the vegetables were bright and complimentary, the mushy peas were the best we'd ever had, and we had many versions of potatoes -- all of which hit the spot! We were treated to "Irish Celery" for dessert and got to meet/thank Brady himself for the amazing meal, who could not have been more gracious. I wish I had something this good back home. It's definitely a place to look forward to on my next visit and will recommended to for anyone I know headed to Kansas City!”

“We look forward to coming back and trying more menu items. We ordered the Blackened Salmon which was cooked so well and delicious. It came with two sides of your choice. Seasonal veggies and Mac n cheese was delicious as well. Also the Rattlesnake Paste with chicken was fantastic. The crispy jalapenos was a great idea to sprinkle on top. If you like a little spice to your pasta definitely try this dish. Thanks for a great dinner! We'll definitely be back and recommend this restaurant..”

“I have been a patron of Tanner's for over a quarter of a century. Though for the last several years I haven't been close enough to one to make it a worth while trip. I'm not The same guy that I was in college that would drive 55 miles to my favorite bar. Don't recommend that to anyone either. I was really excited to see a new one opening right at 2 miles from my house. Though I don't go to the bars like I used to, I still like me some good bar food at times and Tanner's is one of the best for that IMO. You can't go wrong with their chicken lips, lots o nachos or burgers. The beer food like fried pickles and fried mushrooms are winners too. Great atmosphere if you like sports bars, good food and drinks. What more is there to ask?”

“I’ve gone to The Peanut for as long as I can remember for wings at different locations, but recently discovered this location on Stateline. It’s hands down the nicest, cleanest, and friendliest location they have. I’ve also ventured away from their famous wings here, and tried lots of different sandwiches and salads. “Dinner on Friday 8/6. We sat at the bar since we did not have a reservation. Chris and Laura provided great service. The food and drinks were excellent. I highly recommend the King Crab and Fish House Punch. The real star of the night was Isiah. He worked his butt off shucking Oysters. I’m not a big Oyster fan but to watch him was great. He even took time to talk to us while continually working. You need to try this place.”

“The “Big Red” was cooked to perfection- loved the combination of toppings and sauce. The “Little Pig” was flavorful - really liked the combination of Thai chili Mayo and slaw. “Excellent food and service. Cozy atmosphere. Waitress Shay was very customer friendly and customer oriented. She was very thoughtful making sure we enjoyed our visit. The Chef brought the food to our table and explained what each dish was that he prepared. The Manager brought the dessert to our table. Manager was distant and somewhat non-communitive compared to most managers we come in contact with. When I asked a question concerning the dessert he wasn't very pleasant as if he was too busy and didn't want to talk at all. There were no other quest. Poor customer service and example for his employees. I will go back due to the waitress great service.”

“The atmosphere is hip, trendy and very welcoming. The dark decor and quirky design all provide a nice accompaniment to the meal. The appetizers were not our favorite. The beet salad looked wonderful, but tasted a tad dry. The vegetable platter was lovely but felt that it was on the smaller side, and the cheese plate was the smallest of them all. The entrees were the star of the meal. We ordered the fried chicken sandwich - which was our favorite - the burger, the steak skewers and two pastas. All of which we loved. The s'more dessert was less sweet than expected and capped the meal off nicely. The service was great, although our waitress didn't really know answers to some of our questions, but took it upon herself to go and ask. They brought complimentary bubbly out - as we were celebrating our friends engagement and were attentive all night! We will be back but will probably skip the appetizers and order more entrees.”

There was what looked like a private room for rent and outside seating out back, with a nice view of the parking lot 😀 Beer was ok, not great to be honest. Stockyard west bottoms ipa =trash, rye bo pils=slightly better, hefeweizen=avg, fox trotter Irish and the black ipa the best but only like a 6/10 IMO If in the area trying to waste time I would stop here”

“Small plates place with great drinks and lots of creative menu options. I had a beet cocktail that was outstanding! Menu highlights were the bass dish, and the curry aioli for the fries. The mushroom dish was great in concept but the mushrooms weren't cooked quite enough. Service was extremely attentive and friendly. Would definitely make another visit!”
