“Love the food here! My husband and I had dinner here while visiting the area and were very pleased. We started with the crawfish bread and it was so good! Then I had the Broiled seafood platter and the portion was really large and so good. My husband got the Fresh Catch Pontchartrain and it was so amazing as well. The service was really good and we were very pleased! The prices are very fair for what you get and we would highly recommend it and will go back when in the area!”

“We just came from there, I got the Dragons Wings and Cheese Steak and my girlfriend got the Ruben. All of it was very good, the wings are probably my favorite in the area. Just wish they had more sauce options, I like the buffalo but my girlfriend usually likes that asian zing type sauce. All in all, very good! The Mini Golf Course is very clean and fun also.”

“Went there on my Birthday and was so happy! They gave a great deal for large sushi rolls at $6 each or 2 for $11. Excellent value. Great deal on hot saki as well. “Top of the Rock is absolutely beautiful! My husband and I went for a quick getaway for our anniversary and could not have picked a better place. A round of golf on their 9 hole course was fantastic way to spend an afternoon together. The course is amazingly beautiful and with each hole it got even better. The views were phenomenal and the course challenging. We’ll definitely be going back! The “cave tour” was a unique and special treat for all ages. The grounds are well kept and definitely worth the cost of admission. Would recommend!”

“Great atmosphere and service. Unfortunately, food is far overpriced and average at best. Crab cakes were tasty, but small and soggy. Ordered a side of mushroom risotto, which was absolute mush. Someone needs to let them know that risotto doesn't hold. Butter cake was delicious, but tiny portion for $12. Chocolate layer cake, on the other hand, was large, but at least one layer (mousse or cake, was nearly tasteless.”

“This is a hidden gem just about a quarter of a mile from Hwy 65 across from the Big Cedar entrance sign. It's a great place for breakfast and small groups. Great and fun place that has country cafe decor and feel. The owners are friendly, attentive, and really enjoy what they do. The food was fresh and the portions were larger than expected. The pancakes have a wonderful flavor and are larger than a large plate. Bacon is thick and cooked well. We enjoyed the atmosphere too! I really enjoyed the hash browns loaded with veggies, meat and covered with gravy.”

“Had a great evening at the restaurant here at big Cedar Lodge. Started with a corn bread appetizer that was over the top. It was drizzled in honey and small chunks of bacon. Very large appetizer that was actually too much for two people. Seared Atlantic salmon with risotto was incredible. Service was good although they were not really practicing social distancing. It looks like it was at full capacity. They did take temperatures before you came in. My wife had the chicken fried steak which was also very large portion and very good. Definitely recommend this place”

“We had lunch here while visiting the area and it was really good. They don't really practice social distancing with the tables so if that is important to you be aware. We had people sitting at the table right behind and beside us that were much closer than 6 feet. We started our meal with the meatballs and they were really good. Then I got the lunch spaghetti and my husband got the lasagna and they were both pretty good. The server was very good and kind and made sure that we wanted for nothing. We enjoyed our visit.”

“Pizza was very good but supervisor is quite rude. She needs to take management classes. I understand because of covid they do not want customers waiting for their pizza inside the store. There is a nice way to ask for customers to wait outside not just yell at the cashiers to tell everyone once you pay to get out until pizza is ready. The poor cashiers shouldn't have to work with supervisors or managers yelling at them while customers are in lobby.”

“After shopping for 9 hours it was definitely time for a break! Normally I take a moment to take a quick picture but seriously just too hungry to even remember! I had the chicken with cheese and bacon with rice pilaf and grilled zucchini and it was delicious! The sauce was suburb and I ordered only one breast thinking I couldn't possibly eat two. I was right . . .it would have been too much. The serving size was perfect. Service was quick and on the Road home in no time. Will definitely come back again.”
