“The bright yellow arrow-like chevrons caught my eye passing by, so we had to stop in. The outside looks almost like a bank teller drive through, with the double drive through overhangs on both ends of the building. Walking to the entrance, you see they have a nice covered patio eating area with heaters. Entering, the inside is smallish, but new looking contemporary. Service was fast and friendly. I ordered a double cheeseburger combo--burger, fries, drink--and it ended up being like $13 and change, so the price I thought was reasonable. I got the burger "Detour Style", which upon asking what that meant, it simple means they put on the Detour Sauce. When I asked what that was, basically it's Thousand Island dressing. The food itself was pretty good. Not blow you away good, but a solid 7/10. While the burger was tasty, I did regret getting a double cheeseburger instead of a single because it was a heavy burger, and it sat with me the rest of the day. The fries are a mixture of waffle, regular, and crinkle fries, which I thought was neat. They were golden and crispy, if not slightly greasy. Like I said, the bigger was heavy, so I didn't eat much of my fries. Overall, recommend-- it's worth a stop in to try out.”

“Showed up with my family on the second day of opening. We got there late and enjoyed the brand new smell of the store. The staff were very polite, there were employees from other stores helping out and this has been one of most enjoyable experiences. The employee was very nice to my daughters, we have never been given animal sticker pages. They were having a blast and showed the employees their cheeky creations! Very clean location, would highly recommend.”

“I ordered a chicken quesadilla and the guy that was helping me put the quesadilla on the warmer thing with another quesadilla that had peppers, corn and other things on it etc. When the warmer beeped the girl cut both quesadillas and mine wasn’t even melted together and cut it and gave it to me and she was confused as well as another guy at what food went with what person and was trying to give my food to the wrong people and when I got home my chicken quesadilla was supposed to just have chicken and cheese and there were peepers and corn in it.”

“Stopped by on a spir of the moment thing. Our server was nice but just disappeared after dropping off the food, and my drink wasn't filled for about 10 minutes. It's funny because as soon as my husband finished his beer is when she came back to the door so I could get my soda refill. “We had been wanting to try this place but kept forgetting to. We are so happy we finally did. The service was amazing and the food was so good. It was hard deciding what I wanted to get. It is a little pricy but everything is now a days so it would cost just as much as going to McDonald's. We loved it. And the coffee was great. We got a skillet and country fried steak and eggs. We left over filled and happy. I'd highly recommend.”

“The very first thing I noticed was it was a super clean restaurant. The tables and atmosphere was very relaxing. I had to order from the counter, which was fine. The food was ready pretty fast and it was great. Very flavorful and more than enough for two meals per entree ( for me). I like the spiciness of the food, and the hot sauce came in medium (not very spicy) and hot (much spicier, but not crazy). Super satisfied with the food.”

“We were warmly greeted and really enjoyed the service at Rusty Taco West. It's set up like a beach taco shack and you order at the counter. Definitely a casual joint. A manager went out of her way to get my husband soda water from the pop machine. I was lucky to get in on the last day of the cauliflower tacos. If you like the occasional veg option, please join me in begging them to bring these back! The pico tasted fresh, good cilantro, great pickled onion. All of the main meats and the breaded cauliflower we had were pre-packaged. I was hoping for some signature meat that was made in house. We tried tacos: crispy cauliflower, steak fajita, chicken fajita, and bbq brisket nachos. I wish they would have been more clear about what level of spicy items were. The bbq sauce in the nachos was at the top of my tolerance. Next time, I would get no sauce and add the super tasty mild tomatillo salsa. The pico had a lot of fresh jalapenos we picked out. The tacos were all great, if assembled from Sysco items. The pico really made them sing. The nachos though were a bummer. The chips were very crisp and there was a ton of meat, but they went downhill from there. They come with that arena fake cheese goop and shredded cheese. I asked for no "queso" and did not get any extra cheddar instead. And there was very little cheddar or pico or any toppings. Even rationing them out, we quickly ran out of toppings. We brought home half of the meat and chips plain. Then, some of our meat was ice cold, at best room temp. I would have expected nachos to have been melted under the salamander, but the cheddar was cold along with the meat. They should cut down the meat, increase the toppings, and make sure they are hot. We were happy to have finally tried it but with so many amazing Mexican/taco places in town, probably won't be in heavy rotation for us.”

“Fancy newer theater. Popcorn is good! New drink machines- tons of choices. They wouldn't take my movie card from AkSarBen Cinema Rewards card (same owners i read) & didn't say if they had one there to sign up for. People were behind me so i didn't ask. Entrance to Back Lot Restaurant is in the main theater entrance - turn left. You can take their to-go pizzas into the theater. But I would suggest giving yourself time to eat in the restaurant as there's a lot more food choices and a good drink menu. Pizzas are served on a rack so they stay crispy. Service was good. You can get seated in a quiet area away from music if you want. The location is a nightmare to get to if you're unfamiliar with the area. Is in a newer residential area of Gretna West of Hwy 6. (North of Hwy 370). Use GPS. But it is beautiful. Walk is very long from parking lot to theater front door, so dress accordingly.”
