“This was our second visit to this location. We went on a Thursday before dinner rush. The service was good. The food was great, the only tip I have is if you have a vegetarian option (in this case we had veggie fajitas) it might be a good idea to include guacamole as part of the dinner. The dinner was plated well and my birria tacos were delicious! My husband said the fajita veggies were ok but could use some more seasoning/spice. Overall it was a good experience and I'm planning to try songwriting else next time!”

“I stopped in for the first time today and decided to try out the 3 brisket tacos and I'm so glad I got three of them. The tacos were amazing and had tons of flavor each bite had me coming back for more. I asked for their hot hot sauce which was some type of African pepper and it just elevated my experience and brought out just the right amount of heat i was looking for. I highly recommend The Papillion Taco Guy you won't be disappointed.”

“We held a baby shower at the Papillion VFW party room (upper level, with its own entrance off the street). It was very affordable compared to many other potential locations, and the person in charge of renting the facility was super easy to work with and very friendly. The facility was larger than what we needed, but again, it was the best price. The facility has a nicely waxed tile floor that would be great if dancing, and then a carpeted area, which we didn't use other than as a staging area for unused tables and chairs. There's a fireplace feature on wall and a large screen TV on the other. There is a patio area for smokers. The kitchen was nice but either there is no access to the drawers (if needing any towel, wash cloths, etc for clean up) or they just didn't give us the key to unlock the drawers. I'm not sure, so just in case, bring in your own cleaning supplies. Bathrooms were clean and there's a fresh coat of paint on the wall. A perfect blank canvas for your party needs.”

Most importantly they have pinball and it is Ghostbusters which I have not played before and I am a huge pinball nerd. The lineup tonight.. ......Appetizers Famous pit rolls...., absolutely delicious me and the wife both love these amazing flavors, it is exactly what you would expect and the spicy mayonnaise has just a slight kit but my wife even likes it and she don't do hot As we're sitting here, we saw a brisket sandwich pass by, looks absolutely delicious, generous portion.... Next time, I will try that... Cowboy sliders... I really liked these.... .......Entrees Brisket.... very good, nice flavor, perfectly cooked Pulled Pork.. good Chicken.. good Ribs... good ........ sides Mac and cheese.... decent.. Baked beans.... decent.. Overall, good food.. As far as what I'd recommend, it would be the brisket, famous pit rolls and cowboy sliders...”

“Went here for date night with the wife and so glad we did. I remember when the place was a sushi restaurant, and upon walking in, the transformation of the space was pretty amazing. To me it has a trendy but rustic look. It was pretty busy when we went, which was a Saturday night, but luckily we made reservations. I think that's probably the way to go since this seems like a popular spot. The staff was welcoming, and our server was attentive and informative, given this was our first time visiting. I ended up ordering the fried chicken, the wife got the bibimbap. We also ordered the Brussels sprouts/cauliflower in Thai chili sauce appetizer which was super yum! The wife really liked her dish. Tasting it myself, I thought it was very good as well. My fried chicken was good, but it was borderline overdone. The crust was a dark brown vs golden brown, and retained a bit more grease than I would have liked. And, the meat was right on the line of being overcooked. BUT... luckily it wasn't, though it was close. Overall, my dish was tasty and the accompanying risotto and carrot puree were delicious. I would definitely recommend stopping in if you haven't already.”

“I ate here for the first time today. I went in for a late lunch and the server seemed so happy I was there. I was by myself and it felt so nice to feel so welcomed. I had a jalapeno appetizer (not sure what it was called) but it had cream cheese and crab and was drizzled with spicy mayo and eel sauce. I've never had eel sauce before so I have no reference, but it was delicious! The whole appetizer was so good! My sushi was so fresh and filling, I couldn't finish it. My server was awesome, on top of everything, and just so friendly. I wish I had kept my receipt for her name. I will definitely be going back! I hope covid doesn't hurt their business!”
