“Casual but clean and simple atmosphere and decor, friendly service. Kaffe Crepe boasts a wide selection of both sweet and savory crepes, including daily specials. At $28 for 2 crepes and a latte, we found it a little pricey. But the breakfast special crepes we ordered were good, with fresh ingredients, and attractively served. I found the bacon, potato, and egg crepe a tad bland, but we were offered a good selection of sauces to spice things up. The crepes themselves had good texture and were very tasty. And the coffee was great - coming from a coffee hound, that's high praise!”

Could it be because McDonald's and other fast food places would pull their advertising money if people were able to see what you saw before you? I know this because I purchased a fish sandwich and took a picture of it to show what my dinning experience was. I tried posting it three times and it wouldn't post I've done the same at an independent place and they posted it. Have have posted pictures I've taken when the place was dirty. This McDonald's was clean. Easy to get into.”

“This morning someone set sail over to bud Beasley elementary school. And thank God. Ran out of the house, rushing to get my son to kindergarten, left my coffee on the kitchen counter. Dropped my son off, and the teacher(Karsten) told all the parents about the best little java ship in the side parking lot. Went over and expected a long line, got there and no one was in line. I'm telling you you're all missing out. Got a simple black Americano. And my day has been made. I've been to most of the brickband mortar coffee shops in the Reno Sparks area and usually order black coffee, or an Americano, everywhere seems to taste burnt. Java ship was smooth, and delicious. And is now my favorite in town. Not sure if you guys are going to be at bud Beasley again, but I sure as hell hope so. Also, I own a small business and am planning an event in August, and would love to see if you may be interested in setting up shop! Thanks again you guys rock”

“Very friendly staff and great bagels. My wife got the basic sausage bagel sandwich and I got the bacon sandwich on a Dutch crust bagel. Both were delicious. Bacon and sausage were very flavorful, eggs tasted fresh, and the bagels we're a perfect consistency for a sandwich. I personally wouldn't get the Dutch crust again as it didn't add any forgot, but they do have a huge selection of bagel types to try from. Reasonable prices as well. Coffee was basic, nothing special, but I didn't expect anything special. Definitely worth going to and will be a regular stop for me whenever I pass through Reno.”

“I've been going to the original Jack's in Sparks since I was a kid. It has changed owners a couple times since then. Anyhow, the menu is good with only breakfast and lunch served. This location seems to have issues keeping the heat or A/C on. Plan on wearing a heavy sweater or coat while you eat in the winter.”

I will note that when I ordered my food at the kiosk and used the sit down service, the personnel forgot about my order and I had to remind them of the order. However the staff really nice and were contrite about the mistake. No harm done, just a delay in getting the food.”
