Red Enchilada Restaurant

Address: 1310 Osage Ave, Santa Fe, NM 87505, USA

Restaurant

“Red Enchilada Sunday, October 16, 2022 9:30 am 5 stars Red Enchilada, easily accessible on Osage Avenue just off Cerrillos, has been in business in Santa Fe for 19 years yet remains undiscovered by many. The menu is New Mexican with a Salvadorian influence. The cozy neighborhood atmosphere was welcoming on a rainy Sunday morning in October. Ordered the Super Combo Breakfast with green chile topped scrambled eggs, carne adovada, refried beans and potatoes. All was tasty, though the green chile and the carne adovada sauces could have been hotter. Also ordered Los Amigos, two poached eggs and spinach swimming in mild red chile sauce, with three rashers of (somewhat dry) bacon and potatoes. The serving was ample though the red chile sauce was not as spicy and hot as others in Santa Fe. The hot chocolate was especially sweet and delicious. The wait staff was warm and friendly as well as solicitous of our comfort. We watched a few minutes of an international soccer game on one of two TV screens, which was different and fun. Our SoundCheck app rates the sound level as Moderate (63 Db). All in all a very positive experience. Red Enchilada is definitely worth a visit. Note: If you pay with a credit card there is a three percent service charge”

“Google maps sent me to Walmart—it’s actually located next to Long John Silvers, in case anyone else has trouble finding it. Super friendly service. Online order estimated 20 minutes & it was just under that to get my food. Drive thru lane is very narrow and curves hard—won’t work for longer trucks. Short staffed but still super friendly”

Sopaipilla Cafe

Address: 2900 Cerrillos Rd unit B, Santa Fe, NM 87507, USA

Restaurant

“Fantastic!! I was a bit weary that it was located inside the hotel building as a whole. Now that I’ve been, I can say that it doesn’t affect anything. The service was perfect. The food tasted great! Definitely will go back when I’m back in town. Hint: eat the Sopaipillas. They were fresh and tasted heavenly. 10/10 - Doesn’t seem busy and definitely deserves more visits.”

Cuco's Kitchen

Address: 2207 Cerrillos Rd, Santa Fe, NM 87505, USA

Restaurant

“Okay so I will admit I was having regrets after ordering and it was $30 for a drive-thru, but..... once we got home I was stunned at the amount of food, definitely generous portions so I wasn't mad about the price after all. The flavor is so amazing, we had the super nachos and the Al Pastor plate and let me tell you it is really good Mexican food. Go and support this little business so they can stay around for a long time!”

Wok

Address: 2860 Cerrillos Rd, Santa Fe, NM 87507, USA

“We're vegan, so we ordered the orange tofu, garlic broccoli, and general tso tofu and all were very good. We wished the tofu was a little crispier, but the flavors were on point!”

BOXCAR

Address: 530 S Guadalupe St, Santa Fe, NM 87501, USA

Restaurant

“Visiting Santa Fe for the first time with my daughter. I have Celiac disease & have a hard time finding a restaurant that is safe for me to eat at as even the slightest crumb of gluten will make me terribly sick. Found Boxcar with Google & let me tell you it was AMAZING! Our server was Allen & he went above & beyond to accommodate my Celiac disease. He made recommendations for the bang bang shrimp appetizer & the shrimp & grits entree. As the shrimp & grits are not labeled as being able to be gluten free, he contacted the head chef who wasn’t even working at the time to find a way for me to enjoy this dish! I’ve never felt so important & understood. I usually get the eye roll from servers when I explain that things have to prepared carefully. I usually don’t even try to go out to eat because of that. Allen was awesome & I appreciate his attentiveness so very much! The bang bang shrimp & the shrimp & grits were incredible!!!! The kitchen staff was the fastest I think I’ve ever had when dining out!!!! Boxcar should definitely be a place you go to when in Santa Fe!!! We are only here for 4 days but we will dine here again before we leave!!!!”

Second Street Brewery at The Railyard

Address: 1607 Paseo De Peralta #10, Santa Fe, NM 87501, USA

Restaurant

“Immediately the vibe is very locals. Friends catching up and chill energy. We had a cherry cider and IPA - both drinks were booming of flavor! We also had the chips and tomatillo salsa which was a huge hit! The chips are light and house made tasting - the salsa is thin but rich! No spice. Our server was super attentive to every needs but gave us space as well!”

Paloma Restaurant

After living on big cities and being able to ding food fresh Greek food, this was definitely something that was missing here. The place is delicious. You can tell they use the best freshest ingredients and there is thought and care put into every dish. We have probably eaten here 20+ times and have only had good experience. K' Bueno tacos, burritos & more

Address: 2621 Cerrillos Rd, Santa Fe, NM 87505, USA

Restaurant

“Decent small Mexican restaurant. Primary setup for take out and they have a drive through window. Two small bar height tables inside and a large patio just out front. I've given the place a few tries and overall I've found the food to be pretty bland. The only thing I found 'ok' was the breakfast burrito. Perhaps worth a try.”

Lu Lu’s Chinese Cuisine

Address: 3011 Cerrillos Rd, Santa Fe, NM 87507, USA

Restaurant

“I was also one of those people that came in the front and awkwardly waited for someone to help us. A couple people glanced at us and kept moving until one person finally decided to help us. The food was pretty enjoyable overall. Stopped here because it was literally attached to the hotel we stayed in. I really enjoyed the fried rice (despite the extra cost) and thought the lychee fruit was good even though it was my first time having them. I also got the sweet and sour chicken, which I did not enjoy that much because it lacked flavor even with the sauce. I would probably come back only if I stayed at the hotel again.”

Mariscos Costa Azul

Address: 2875 Cerrillos Rd, Santa Fe, NM 87507, USA

Restaurant

“I knew the restaurant must be good when we arrived because the parking lot was packed. There were several people getting takeout and dining in. The food was not pretentious, it was just good, hearty, down home type Mexican food. Don't let outside of the building or even the worn interior deter you from stopping in. The staff were friendly and provided great service. The portions were large so you got your money's worth. The food was well seasoned and tasted great.”

Realburger

Address: 2641 1/2 Cerrillos Rd, Santa Fe, NM 87505, USA

Restaurant

“A Good burger with lots of chopped green chile and bacon. The real burger is the smaller portion option and it's generous. I liked the charred and moist aspect of the beef patty, great grill flavor. The bun is a bit too much bread,it's huge, good tasting and fresh. They have 4 potato options and they hand cut their fries. Beware the spiral come out like a lays potato chip ribbon. The tater tots were good and crunchy. The seating area is old school. 1 restroom for all. Self serve soda and condiments. We ate onsite but everything was served in to go containers sadly, lots of Styrofoam. This place can be challenging to find. Definitely use Google so you won't have to go up and down cerrillos road looking for where to turn even though you see the sign. I would go back.”

Café Castro

Address: 2811 Cerrillos Rd, Santa Fe, NM 87507, USA

Restaurant

“Have heard about Castros from family. Walked in and was seated quickly for being busy. Service was great! Food was authentic New Mexican. Flavors meshed very well with each other. Plates looked well and tea was brewed correctly. Even had Limes which is my personal taste with my tea. Thank you for the great family experience Cafe Castro!”

Rowley Farmhouse Ales

Address: 1405 Maclovia St, Santa Fe, NM 87505, USA

Restaurant

“Felt very lucky to find this brewery and restaurant tucked away off the main drag southwest of town. The beer selection was incredible. All of the RFA selections along with a variety of local, regional and global beers made for an awesome experience. Then the food came out and it got even better with creative and fresh sandwiches, salads and desserts. The eggplant sandwich was my favorite and they serve a hot out of the oven pineapple upside-down cake that was absolutely scrumptious! Service was really great and we will definitely be back!”

“Great for catering! Dhiru and Aruna Cafe catered a dinner party for me and the food was fantastic! Dhiru was very easy to work with, helping me select a menu that was an abundant amount of food and within my budget. While all of the dishes were big hits, the curry leaf chicken appetizer really wowed everyone, and the rose chocolate torte was a memorable end to a delicious evening.”

Second Street Brewery - Rufina Taproom

Address: 2920 Rufina St, Santa Fe, NM 87507, USA

Restaurant

“Nicely decorated, great atmosphere. Service was great until we got our food, then we were kinda forgotten about. The Original Alien Burger was delicious as were the jalapeño poppers. My girlfriend ended up with a clump of seeds in one of them which was a little uncomfortable for her. We are driving cross country so we did not partake in the beers, maybe next time! Would eat here again and recommend to others.”
