“Palate catered our wedding and they were phenomenal!!! They rolled with every crazy idea I pitched. We had food truck tacos during the cocktail hour, buffet dinner, and late night snacks!! My guests were raving about the food for days! Angelica and her husband handled weather hiccups beautifully and helped me survive the day. I really cannot recommend them enough. The Palate family is amazing! LOVE THEM!”

“Ordered the Descada and two Papusas. Also the enchiladas Salvadorenia (tostadas) was unbelievably good. Food was delicious and great portions! I will be visiting this food truck again!”

“Just got off a 6 hour car ride from Denver and my partner in crime just found this spot. Thank you hot dog Jesus. Please go buy their food. It's soo good. We got two Sonoran dogs. Creamy, delicious and came with a great salsa on the side. Bread was light and grilled.”

“I was also one of those people that came in the front and awkwardly waited for someone to help us. A couple people glanced at us and kept moving until one person finally decided to help us. The food was pretty enjoyable overall. Stopped here because it was literally attached to the hotel we stayed in. I really enjoyed the fried rice (despite the extra cost) and thought the lychee fruit was good even though it was my first time having them. I also got the sweet and sour chicken, which I did not enjoy that much because it lacked flavor even with the sauce. I would probably come back only if I stayed at the hotel again.”

“I knew the restaurant must be good when we arrived because the parking lot was packed. There were several people getting takeout and dining in. The food was not pretentious, it was just good, hearty, down home type Mexican food. Don't let outside of the building or even the worn interior deter you from stopping in. The staff were friendly and provided great service. The portions were large so you got your money's worth. The food was well seasoned and tasted great.”

“A Good burger with lots of chopped green chile and bacon. The real burger is the smaller portion option and it's generous. I liked the charred and moist aspect of the beef patty, great grill flavor. The bun is a bit too much bread,it's huge, good tasting and fresh. They have 4 potato options and they hand cut their fries. Beware the spiral come out like a lays potato chip ribbon. The tater tots were good and crunchy. The seating area is old school. 1 restroom for all. Self serve soda and condiments. We ate onsite but everything was served in to go containers sadly, lots of Styrofoam. This place can be challenging to find. Definitely use Google so you won't have to go up and down cerrillos road looking for where to turn even though you see the sign. I would go back.”

“Have heard about Castros from family. Walked in and was seated quickly for being busy. Service was great! Food was authentic New Mexican. Flavors meshed very well with each other. Plates looked well and tea was brewed correctly. Even had Limes which is my personal taste with my tea. Thank you for the great family experience Cafe Castro!”

“Felt very lucky to find this brewery and restaurant tucked away off the main drag southwest of town. The beer selection was incredible. All of the RFA selections along with a variety of local, regional and global beers made for an awesome experience. Then the food came out and it got even better with creative and fresh sandwiches, salads and desserts. The eggplant sandwich was my favorite and they serve a hot out of the oven pineapple upside-down cake that was absolutely scrumptious! Service was really great and we will definitely be back!”

“We stopped here on our way to Taos. It is a little bit of a dive but everything we ordered was fantastic and everyone was very friendly. Some highlights were the tamales, the rice, and the chicken enchiladas. Worth the detour and reasonably priced.”

“Great for catering! Dhiru and Aruna Cafe catered a dinner party for me and the food was fantastic! Dhiru was very easy to work with, helping me select a menu that was an abundant amount of food and within my budget. While all of the dishes were big hits, the curry leaf chicken appetizer really wowed everyone, and the rose chocolate torte was a memorable end to a delicious evening.”

“Nicely decorated, great atmosphere. Service was great until we got our food, then we were kinda forgotten about. The Original Alien Burger was delicious as were the jalapeño poppers. My girlfriend ended up with a clump of seeds in one of them which was a little uncomfortable for her. We are driving cross country so we did not partake in the beers, maybe next time! Would eat here again and recommend to others.”

“Do you desire meat so tender it falls off the bone? This is your place. Homey and with limited seating, enjoy a vinegar-based mild or spicy sauce on pulled pork, brisket, and ribs to the sound of bluegrass. The proprietor was the nicest person. Would come back if I were a local.”

“Loved the Chicken Piccata. We had a nice time here. California pizza had a lot of veggies, which was okay. Tres leches was good. It was a weekend hence when we went it was crowded. Decent place for a family brunch.”

“Awesome! During this summer, the patio is next to none. Their mixed drinks and distilled spirits and beer are absolutely fabulous. The entertainment is wonderful and not to be missed. In addition, they have pop-ups that make it like a new restaurant each time you visit. For locals and if you have anybody in town, bring them! It’s both kid and dog friendly. Overall, just stellar.”

“One of my favorite restaurants in SF. The freshest, most creative dishes and combinations of flavors. I can’t wait for it to open. I always feel so good - healthy - after eating there. Olive is charming and welcoming!😋”

“Stumbled across this local pizza joint that has a wide variety of amazing NY style pizza, salads, calzones, specialty pizza, Gelato, beer, and wine! We dined in, but were surprised at how many telephone orders that were coming in! It's no wonder after biting into a steaming hot pizza to know why the pizza here is highly desirable! I highly recommend coming to get some "pie", and do something different and start off with a fee scoops of gelato...just for the fun of it...you won't be disappointed.”

“I really liked the feel of this coffee shop. It's very homey, with great music and artwork. The service is friendly and the food is delicious. I went with a breakfast croissant, side of potatoes, and a smoothie. The seasoning on the potatoes was tasty (I think rosemary and thyme) and the croissant was filling. They also have a wide selection of baked goods, from cookies to cakes. Highly recommend going here for breakfast or lunch.”

“I highly recommend the combination plate. The empanada had a great flaky crust, the bean and cheese pupusa had a nice crisp outside, the plantain was sweet and caramelized, and the tamale was full of meat. So good. On this early Tuesday eve there was also an amazing classical guitarist playing.”

“Holy cow the food here is amazing. I had originally decided on the brisket burrito but upon entering and smelling the BBQ I changed my mind and went with the slammer sandwich. It was the best thing I've eaten on this trip, hands down. The sweet honey glaze combined with the sausage and pulled pork was just pure deliciousness. The place was packed and upon eating your first bite you see why. The nachos were great too and everything had very generous portions. You won't leave hungry and you'll definitely leave happy!!”

“We ate at this restaurant when we had a four day, three night stay at Ojo Sante Fe Spa and Resort. Most of the time the food was good and the servers were nice. It really depended on who the cook was for the time of day, as with a lot of places. I do wish the honey was left off the cheese on the humus plate. The restaurant has great views if you are seated by a menu.”

“So serene to play tennis here! The mountain view, against the blue sky makes me feel I'm on vacation each time I'm there. There are beautiful old elms and trumpet vines which invite Ravens, hummingbirds and other feathered friends to share the common space at the club. The staff are always pleasant and helpful. How better to start a day than to play tennis, cool off in the pool afterward, and then have a bite to eat before heading out! Try the grilled veggies salad, but ask for sunflower seeds and sub the vinaigrette dressing for the Caesar dressing. Yummy!!”

“The pizza here is amazing! We come to Santa Fe a few times a year for Upper Crust. We got the Margherita pizza. Such a crispy, but not thin crust. All the ingredients were so fresh! Tossed salad was very flavorful, love their homemade ranch! The atmosphere is very unique! We love the old house! It's a wonderful Santa Fe feel! Stop by next door at the oldest Catholic church in U.S. when you're there. Top five places for pizza for sure!”

“Exceptional from start to finish! Had a fantastic dinner on the patio. Enjoyed guacamole, stuffed squash blossoms, entrees and are so glad we didn’t skip the churros for dessert. Server had an excellent understanding of the menu. Each item was plated beautifully. Beautiful patio and relaxed comfortable atmosphere.”
