“We had a fantastic breakfast experience here and really enjoyed our interactions with the staff. Of everyone in Taos is this kind and happy I may just have to relocate. Excellent green chile tops a wide variety of perfectly cooked grub. A proud Broncos fan to boot. It seems to me that this is where the locals go. Will return as fast as life allows.”

“Amazing pizza! The toppings were great and the crust was perfect. No greasy pizza or floppy floppy crust here. The ladies were on point today! Great service and amazing pizza. Thanks!”

“Plant Base Cafe was exactly what we needed in Taos. A new place that serves fully Vegan food that was also delicious. I was able to get three separate proteins for my three amazing breakfast tacos. The salad was fantastic and all around the patio was great vibes. And plus, it’s right next to the free public parking lot and next to the Taos Plaza!”

“Went there today with my dog, George. I had the Broccoli salad, and it was fantastic. I tried the Mesa IPA and Beet gose. Everything was delicious. The staff were so nice and I love how they loved my George. He had a great time too. The atmosphere is very welcoming. I definitely recommend.”

“Neat little spot with patio seating and indoor seating. Staff is friendly and prompt. The chips crisp, salsa was great and had a slight hit of hotness, wife enjoyed the fresh guacamole. Wife had the 2 enchiladas, one chicken with green sauce and one beef with red sauce served with rice and beans. I had the combination, 2 enchiladas with taco rice beans. The chicken enchilada was just chicken —wished it had some flavor and green sauce mixed into the chicken to pop it. The green green sauce was great and not overbearing. The cheese enchilada with red sauce was good. Didn’t get a crispy beef taco as I’m used too as it was corn tortilla just slightly cooked as if soft but the shredded beef was good inside Rice was good, moist and flavorful. Beans to us was overcooked. Overall still a pleasant experience.”

“Stopped in for lunch and wow was it delicious! The menu has a large number of selections. We opted for street tacos (there are about a dozen different kinds to choose from) and the mole chicken. Both of our entrees were excellent. The service was very quick and friendly. We highly recommend!”

“Savory breakfast burrito with chorizo, bacon, egg, and cheese and a ham and cheese torta. Very kind team and really delicious food. We took ours to go on the road.”

“I know this place has gotten a bad wrap, but they are under new management and wow, the difference is night and day. Call the shop to ask a question, was answered promptly and I proceeded to order. When I went to pick up, I was greeted warmly (wow) and my pizza was ready, hot and CORRECT!! Please give this store another shot, you'll soon see they are being professionally managed now.”

“We made reservations for Christmas Day a few days prior and we’re surprised to find they still had open times. We had a love corner booth. The shrimp appetizer was good, but pretty small and we didn’t realize it was fried. The dinner portions were quite large. The coating on the chili rellenos was made in house and fantastic. The rice and beans were wonderful. The desserts were unique and sounded fantastic, but we didn’t save room. Service was a bit slow, but to be expected on such a busy day. We would definitely return to taste more menu options. Cheers p”

“It took us awhile to find the restaurant but when we did find it. The customer service was great, super attentive and a very welcoming feeling. We even ended up chatting with some very good people who were sitting on another table where they gave us some great tips on what’s the area. Now for the price we paid to eat for two people was just amazing. That bottle of wine was amazing, the cheese and the meat quality. I would for sure recommended the spot if you are ever in Taos. Please make sure to go there for wine and cheese. Cheers, BN”

“My wife is Asian I thought that she would appreciate some food from home LOL the spicy Thai chicken wings, well the peanut sauce is nothing that you would ever find in Thailand the sweet sauce on the plate with the herbs is something that they would serve with prawns or shrimp anyway it was delicious but not Thai. Make your own Noodle Bowl was very disappointing. The beef broth was not a good flavor overall it was disappointing. The green chili with lamb appetizer was the most disappointing. Everything was edible but just disappointing. Especially for a $50 lunch”

“This place was really awesome. They were really busy when we arrived with a party of 9. At first they said it was going to be about 35 minutes to seat us but they sat us really fast. Service was great and speedy. Food was good. The view was incredible. They say us out on the patio and it overlooked the town beautifully. Being here on a day trip I really enjoyed the opportunity to stare at this town for just a little longer while I ate.”

“Nice little place in Taos. Crispy duck had great flavor and we were able to order our extra crispy. Also got the seared salmon garlic and Ski lift roll. Both were quite tasty.”

“Amazing food, awesome staff! We hired these great folks to cater and serve our intimate reception in Taos and we all loved the food and their wonderful energy! We spent months changing our minds on the menu and they were very kind throughout the whole process, keeping in touch and working with our needs. Lee (the chef) did an amazing job with the food and was super nice and accommodating while serving us. The cornbread was so good that there was a debate as to who could take it home, the shrimp toast was a group favorite as well... gone before I could get to them, luckily my brand new partner saved one for me. I loved the brisket, our veg folks loved the BBQ cauliflower steak… it was all so good! We were honored to have Lee as one of our servers and everyone was so satisfied that we all started clapping for Lee (I know that sounds fake… I promise you it was real). Most importantly, we were treated with respect as a queer couple! Photo credit: Andrea Van Orsouw Photography IG: andrea_vanorsouw”

“Brought visiting mom in for brunch this morning. YUM. The food, service, and atmosphere were exceptional. We all cleaned our plates - gravy outstanding, tomatillo salsa super fresh, and the most perfect grits. Mom wants to go back tomorrow! We will be back!”

“We found this spot after a day of mountain biking nearby and enjoyed a fantastic meal! We were asked if we had reservations, we did not. They still were able to seat us, thankfully. Stella's has a dark, candlelit, old school Italian restaurant ambiance to it. The grilled salmon was delicious. It was served with sundried tomatoes, angel hair, pesto cream sauce, over a bed of spinach with some other veggies as well. The kids had a great chicken alfredo and spaghetti, both served with veggies and a slice of garlic bread. We finished off with some awesome desserts! The warmed chocolate cake and key lime pie were mouth watering! We hope to visit again however, reservations may be the only way to get seated if you're not lucky to go when they don't have a packed house.”

“The food was fantastic, my pork chop was perfectly cook, the mashed potatoes were heavenly tasting, and the chimichurri just fantastic. Great customer service, every one was so nice to talk to, I seated down in the bar and it was such great choice, I had really nice interactions with must of the staff, bar tender was great as well. Is a great place to go. Part 2; I came back couple weeks after the first review cause I wanted to try the hamburger, because many people were talking about it, so I did ate it and it was glorious, just perfectly cook, I order some calamari as well, now I thought those were a little bit extra cooked, but tasty never the less.”

“Today was my first visit to the Bent Street Grille. I have been to the Bent Street Deli many times over the years and found the changes in menu and layout to be good overall. Over medium eggs, potatoes, dry rye toast, green chili sauce and coffee for me plus one of Deb’s pancakes. She had pancakes with blackberries and strawberries and a side of two O/M eggs and decaf coffee. Everything was quite tasty. The green chili sauce was a little thin for my taste but tasted very good and produced a slight nose run, an important aspect of spicy food. The staff were all pleasant and attentive. The new layout seems more spacious and easier to navigate. The patio is quite nice, too.”

“These tacos and burgers are the bomb! I love stopping here for a bite at the end of Bent Street. Such a beautiful spot to take a break and eat some tasty bites - like having tea time in a garden, but NM style. Love these guys and supporting them 👨👩👧❣️”

“This would have been a 5 star experience but it went down down down at the end. Our server was super chill and sweet. She was very attentive for the first hour and 1/2. After that, we were virtually ignored by her as she scrambled to take care of larger and more lucrative parties. The manager stepped up but why couldn't she bring us our bill? We sat there for a 1/2 hour waiting for it. In my book, there is no "Taos Time" at expensive restaurants. There is a standard of service that should be upheld with no excuses. The mushroom bisque was awesome, the steak was good, the flavors all good but I expect to be paid attention to consistently and all the way through just like I was at the beginning. Don't bother dressing up, there were jeans and ski vests here like at most places (which is cool and not cool) Service is important and you can lose reputation on this alone even if the food is good. Desserts were huge! Would I go back? I haven't decided yet (and yes we are purchasing land in the area so I'm not just a tourist or touron).”

“This place is busy, but efficient! The staff moves quick and as one team. We were sat and had drinks ordered immediately. Then, a server came to the table and our food order was placed. We were amazed by the speed in which the food made it to the table. Best French Toast I've ever eaten!”

“I’ve been wanting to eat here, but kept missing their open hours. We finally got the chance to stop here for breakfast on last day before driving out of town. We had migas, a breakfast burrito and pancakes. All were delicious. Pancakes were huge and fluffy. We’ll stop in here again next time we’re in town because there are more items on the menu that sounded great! The staff were also very kind and attentive and brought treats out for our puppy. She also gives it 5-stars!”
