“Cool spot to relax and eat either after you've come down the natural entrance or right before you leave. Sadly food selection is really lacking. They have ham or turkey sandwiches or salads for main meals. For snacks candy bars, some baked goods, small bags of chips, bottled soda and a few other small things. (At this time of posting 2023 sandwich costed $8.75, chips $1, brownie $4, soda $2.87, candy bar $2.19)”

“We need to remember that people wanting to work to take care of us R working. To say there’s no service here has not had Paul as a waiter! One man show and still made us feel welcomed w a smaller. The food is 4+ on taste and servings are plentiful. Ask for Paul for that he cares attitude. Thanks for the (literally) running to take of us 10+”

“Friends Coffee & Sandwich Shop is a hidden gem here I Albuquerque😁 It's small and quaint but it is all you need for a quick delishious breakfast or brunch little meal. The breakfast burritos are amazing and they have a variety of snacks/pastries. Also the owners are very polite and will make you laugh. So all that said I definitely recommend you stumble into this gem and take my word, because you won't be disappointed 😎”

“Truly one of the greatest spots in the entire state. I had the second best meal of my entire life here, second only to Etiope Gondor in Madrid. Always fresh, always organic, always a delight.”

“Was there during the Albuquerque Comic Con After-party at Doubletree. Fantastic hotel bar! Cool bar setup, nice lobby, etc. but the reason this place is so great is the staff. Especially bartender Mercedes! She's a hell of a bartender, pours a solid drink, and in the midst of all the craziness of the con, with celebrities and other freaks dressed in costume, Mercedes was calm, cool, and collected. She took care of the bar like a seasoned pro (I'm guessing she can't be more than 25, if that.) The only problem I have is that she wasn't working Sunday, the last day of the con! Thank you Mercedes and the staff of the lounge and of Doubletree hotel!”

“Such a comfortable & colorful spot near the convention center in DT Albuquerque. I got lucky with all kinds of deliciousness to choose from. The carnitas hash breakfast burrito with eggs and Christmas chile sauce is a must. If you come at the right time, you'll have your choice of their popular baked treats for later. Can't wait to have my lemon brownie!”

“Great spot for New Mexican food. Delicious food and good portions. Reasonably priced. Only reason it isn’t 5 stars is because it is a simple atmosphere, which is not a hinderance, but it is also not a fancy restaurant.”

“Very nice people here. Convenient short cut meals. My only complaint is they are heavy on rice and ground meat and light on vegetables.”

“Not your run of the mill brunch. I loved the chicken sausage on green chili biscuits. The tortillas are fresh and very good. The bacon is sweet. Serving size is good. My granddaughter had the child’s portion of French toast with fruit. This was very good too.”

“The food is hot, fresh, and it comes out extremely fast! If anything, this is the exact definition of fast food! I love Burger King every now and then, much better than the nasty excuse for a burger McDonald's sells. The number three large meal is the best! Vegan burger that tastes exactly like a regular burger!! 😋”

“I was with a party of four at 1130am on a Saturday. I did not know what to expect from this restaurant or the experience, but I was pleasantly surprised. We were at the restaurant for the Dim Sum brunch. Collectively, we shared nearly 20 small plates of food. All of the food was well-prepared and flavorful. Two in my party had steamed buns with pork and stated that they were the best buns in Albuquerque. I enjoyed the rice with spicy pork, my favorite dish of the brunch. One in my party requested the sesame balls with plum filling for dessert. I had one, and it was amazing! The server did a fantastic job bringing the brunch cart around over and over again for our party. I had iced tea, but two in my party had hot tea, and all the beverages were excellent. I have not eaten the sushi, but I highly recommend this restaurant for the dim sum brunch.”

“Considering the neighborhood, this Carl's has the best customer service I've seen since arriving in this entire town. Usually with fast food here, all the service is lackluster and lethargic, all the workers, clearly, just tired of the customers, not giving a single hoot because that's what they've learned from the managers. As soon as I walked into this Carl's, someone jumps up from the dining area, big smile on his face and apologizes, even though was the one intruding on his break. After apologizing back, and exchanging pleasantries, my meal was in my hands within 30 seconds, the whole time, every worker just hanging out doing their jobs and keeping busy. It saddened me how blown away I was by the rarity of people at work, actually doing what they were hired to do, work. These folks know what they're doing”

“My husband and his uncle came here for lunch. I ordered the chicken fried steak and my husband ordered a breakfast plate. atmosphere: cozy, comfortable, and clean. Most tables are good for 4 people but if you have a large group, there is ample space and they can just put tables together to fit large groups. The place is clean and has large windows that add to the good vibe of the place. Food: served within 20 minutes of ordering. I like my chicken fried steak with its sopapilia. My husband cleaned his plate. We are both satisfied with our food. Although my dish can be made more flavorful.”

“We Had a nice, eager server. We enjoyed our sandwich a lot. But we ordered two beers almost immediately after sitting and it took over 15 minutes to get two beers. We had just got our beers and the sandwich at the same time. And it wasn’t that crowded. Apparently it was a mixed drink “rush” so we had to wait our turn. That is what our server told us. But a couple went up to the bar and got beers immediately so not sure about the system. Maybe take 30 seconds every once in a while to serve a beer? That’s my suggestion. Plus pretty sure a manager or owner sitting at the bar. Although we had a decent time. We left to have our next drink at another local distillery due to situation.”

“I visited Belles Urban Deli with high hopes, given its connection to Lily and Liam's. The location was easy to find, and we were promptly seated. The Brie Babies and fresh side salad were enjoyable, but I was disappointed by the Short Rib Hoagie. The meat lacked seasoning and flavor, and there were too many fatty pieces. The red potato salad fell short with undercooked potatoes and an overwhelming amount of mayo, lacking other ingredients or seasoning. Despite the promising start, the portion sizes left us hungry, prompting us to search for more satisfying options. I hope Belle's improves its dishes, as I would consider revisiting them in the future.”

“We had our wedding here 09/23/23 and let me begin with how absolutely amazing Toni, Janie, and the rest of the staff were. They were so kind and listened to everything we wanted for our special day. They did amazing with the decorations, florals, and the food/dessert was phenomenal. They were so easy to work with and we could have not done anything without them. I 100% recommend them for ANY special occasion. Apart of our wedding package we also got a nice stay at the Trinity Hotel and again, it was pure perfection. Thank you Balzano family for everything. We appreciate you so very much. God bless every single one of you.”
