“I am absolutely in love with this place. You know that feeling when you finally find a nice little coffee spot to kick back and relax, read a book, talk with friends? This is it! I came for the vegan options and I was not disappointed by any means. I noticed that they do run out of a lot of their other ingredients throughout the day- I would urge those who aren’t vegan who want a breakfast sandwich to give it a try if what you want is out of stock for that day. The staff is so kind and gave me a good run down of the vegan options when I went the first time. I would go literally every day.”

“Updated review post covid. The folks at the Route 20 Cafe stayed open all through out the crisis and have come out better for it. Still have the best breakfast sandwiches and full breakfast hot off the grill, bar none (no microwaved egg or Denny’s chain breakfast here). Great lunch specials and grab and go or eat it there entrees for lunch and dinner. Always have traditional favorites like goulash and meatloaf and they come up with different meals all the time. If you don’t see something on the menu ask, nine times out of ten they can make it on the spot. It’s about buying local too, this is a mom and pop shop that uses local sources as well and supports people here, no corporate chain nonsense. If you support local buying and fresh, made to order food, then this is the place for you.”

“Great atmosphere and menu selection. The food was delicious! You either order at the counter or scan an app on your phone. I loved that all four of us could order separately on our phones but it somehow knew we were all part of the same party. Very cool concept! “I'm so happy we have a Banh Mi sandwich shop in our neighborhood. The bread is light and flakey, loaded with fresh ingredients which makes for delicious sandwiches! We got the BBQ pork and the Lemongrass Chicken, I favored the pork with rich BBQ taste. Not pictured but I got their pork stuffed puffs and they were awesome. I don't know too many places that serve Vietnamese Coffee, it's strong but beautifully blended with the condensed milk for the perfect afternoon pick me up.”

I came in ahead of the 3pm grand opening and for a place who is newly opening and preparing for a grand opening ordering and receiving my food was very fast. I was there for about 15 minutes, I was very impressed. Definitely will be back soon the milkshake was amazing. I'm excited to try out some brew off the tap which had a nice size selection.”

The aesthetic of the restaurant has been beautifully sculpted from a location which has remained vacant for almost a decade. The service was excellent and the food was amazing. No time for food? Then I highly recommend a visit over to Emmanuel at the bar. He is a real craftsman, and I've not met a more knowledgeable person when it comes to mixology. “This is my hubby’s favorite place and he is picky! $1 oysters on Sunday (very fresh and clean), draft beer flights, lovely cold lobster roll (the brown butter one is great too) and a tasty prime rib dip…we enjoyed it all! The servers outside were friendly and efficient. The pretzels are amazing but very filling. I was experiencing food order envy as they were brought out for other tables. Perhaps next time beer, oysters and pretzels…something to look forward to.”

“Went today and had a fantastic experience! They were very busy but we were able to get in without a reservation. Price is very reasonable. The service is just like another reviewer said, hyper attentive, even with a packed room. Very clean and nice decor. The sushi is playful, fresh and innovative. The Mt. Fuji roll was my favorite. The mango roll is very sweet and makes a great ‘dessert’. Two slight cons, the restaurant is basically a huge square, nothing to absorb sounds so it can get noisy. Also, they do not currently serve alcohol. So not the best spot for a date night, but perfect for families, friends, and casual meals. Best place in the capital district for all you can eat sushi!”
