“Sycamore is a beautiful course and great challenge. You can tell the owners have put a lot of effort in making your time at the club an amazing experience. I have visited 6 times this season and every time I’ve visited they’ve been working on something new. I have 0 complaints. The course, views, pro shop, and bar are phenomenal. I love the drink selection and the food choices. My favorites to order after a round are a double Buffalo Trace and the hot maple wings. It’s also really nice to see a staff that cares about the experience of your visit and the care of the course. I have always felt very welcomed and the course has been in perfect condition. This is my favorite club in the 518 and may have the hardest 18th hole. I definitely recommend several visits to Sycamore, I know I plan to be back multiple times a week to take advantage of their twilight deal. ($15 any weekday to walk 18)”

“I honestly have no idea what the other people are talking about. I eat here as often as possible and love the food. I wouldn't exactly call it upscale by any means, it's just a diner, and so you should expect the usual diner atmosphere (loud) and help (won't wipe your bottom for you), but man the food is good. The batter-dipped fries are the best around, and their sandwiches are great. Breakfast too.”

“Hidden gem! It was hard to find as the door is small on the side of LAX but once you head upstairs, it is a whole different vibe! I absolutely loved the decor of this place!! The ambiance is really chic and relaxing. Our food was pretty tasty but they have some interesting options that I was not expecting to see. We loved the avocado fries and wine! I would definitely recommend for a date or girls night”

“The food tasted good. I had a pastrami Reuben and my husband had the crispy chicken. He said his was good. Mine tasted good but I was disappointed in the size of the sandwich. LARGE thick slices of bread with only a couple pieces of pastrami. It didn’t have a lot of sauerkraut either. Honestly it was mostly bread. I’ve worked in restaurants were we served ruebens, and we always served them piled pretty high with the “good stuff” that goes in a rueben. This was just disappointing especially for the price. I would love to support a local restaurant but I would like to see the portions be better in line with the prices.”

“If you’re thinking about trying this place, go for it! The food is consistently delicious and the value for money is amazing. I get the falafel rice platter with vegetables and my bf gets the chicken and I love that it’s open later than most places. On my most recent Shahs Halal run, the owner was nice enough to let me sample their fish platter. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. The fish was fresh, light and flaky. It will definitely be my new order going forward. Everyone I have referred has come back with nothing but good things to say.”

Albany has quite a few Indian restaurants that claim to be the best. I have ate at many and I must say this one deserves that accolade. Even the service you receive from the staff there is excellent. For instance my fiancé and I, were traveling and staying in a hotel and being there was no place to eat ,we ordered. With lack of utensils and silverware because we were traveling the extremely friendly lady who took our order made sure She accommodated our needs even down to individually package salt and pepper. To me it’s the little things. As far as the food goes, Even if your entry level taste buds to Indian food there’s something for you here. I cannot recommend this place enough to people and I wanna give kudos again to the lady who works there and took our order. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!! Namaste 🙏🏾”

“This chicken is the bomb. Very crispy. Great plain, but they have a number of sauces. I love their secret spicy sauce. It's got good flavor and a nice zip. They have regular fried chicken and wings. I haven't tried their wings yet, as I can't seem to get past their delicious regular chicken, but my wife recommends them. If you order on a Friday or Saturday night, I highly recommend doing it online, as there can be a wait. These people are also super friendly.”

“Mr. Bumbles cafe is a glorious addition to the new scotland ave businesses. I've been twice (so far!) and the food is fantastic! I don't usually save half of a sandwich for later, but there sandwiches are so big, you might end up with two meals. The carrot bisque was a perfect addition, and the cookies (one fruity pebble, one cinnamon toast crunch) were a great dessert choice. The staff know what's up and are friendly and knowledgeable. I'll definitely go back, now you should go too! Enjoy!”

“Went for brunch to this classic cafe style eatery. I had an Omlette and my husband had fried eggs. Both cam with choice of deep fried or griddle home fries and toast. The food is home style, delicious, served hot and in a timely manner. The prices are reasonable. The place is decorated nicely in a country style and kept clean. The waitress was old fashioned attentive and we enjoyed the whole experience. There's parking enough for a tractor trailer so truckers stop for a nice hot meal!”
