“Bacon egg and cheese on a whole wheat everything bagel, bagel was good, the bacon tasted funky. They were super busy in there, definitely a neighborhood spot. Parking is tough, the street is a little dodgy. But inside seems like a reputable place. I would come back for the bagel”

“Traditional modern Mexican Food. family owned and homemade. Reminds me of my mom’s cooking. The Enchiladas, Shrimp Tacos and Cochinita Tacos are my top choices. Plus, they have a variety of desserts to choose from.”

“It’s only fitting that the most delightful and memorable dining experience I’ve had came at a restaurant named after my favorite childhood hero. As a first generation immigrant from China who grew up on authentic Asian cuisine, I’ve always been wary of dining in “Asian fusion” restaurants. Oftentimes in my experience “Asian fusion” was synonym with unnecessarily experimental — Often sullying classical dishes with perplexingly additives and ingredients. The Monkey King is evolutionary — paying homage to the traditional cuisine, I’ve grown to love while allowing room for the diverse palette found in NYC to serve as inspiration for change. There wasn’t a dish that I felt was changed just for the sake of change. I had the privilege of being seated in the kitchen for a private chef’s tasting. Delicious food aside it was so novel to be dining behind closed doors. We were treated like VIPs and it felt truly exclusive. I’ve never experienced something like this before and I hope it’s not the last. The tasting consisted of 4 small plates and 6 entrees. Highlights for me are: 1. The Chicken Dumplings, which was seared to perfection. The cinnamon red oil not only gave this dish a unique flare but enhanced the flavor that made every bite leaving me wanting more. 2. The Shrimp Toast. I love the contrast from its crunchy outer shell to its juicy shrimp interior. It tasted familiar, yet I can’t point to a dish quite like this one. It’s as if they took a combination of dim sum dishes and married it to create this masterpiece. 3. The Duck Fat Fried Rice. It’s delicious. I can truly say their fried rice has ruined all other fried rice for me. This is above and beyond any other friend rice variant for me. Every dish that was brought to the table was superb. Words cannot do the dishes justice. Whether you are dining in or ordering takeout, I highly recommend you try them for yourself. I am confident you won’t be disappointed.”

“Great Vegan breakfast sandwich! I didn’t see No Evil foods like people were complaining about over here and a place that at least offers vegan food is better than one that does not! A+ cheap dank vegan eats”

“Very good food, I can definitely see this becoming a favorite go to chicken sandwich. Everything was fresh and good. I tried the Nashville hot chicken 🤤 definitely recommend it,if you want to get your heat on (not too spicy as one might think). The French fries are definitely good, the crinkle cut fries that are hard to stop eating even without ketchup. The mint margarita was definitely a refreshing drink, without leaving a dry after taste. The prices are average and the quantity and quality are more than worth the trip. Will be back next time I'm around the area.”

“This is excellent pizza. We have a lot of great pizza spots around here but this place finally figured out that we need a place that serves meat and is open late. They're open every day and they didn't charge me any extra to use a cc. The man I spoke with was very friendly and the place is very clean and inviting. So sick of rude employees around here.”

“Best place for meatless food shopping most of the meat products here are vegan. They do sell a few meat products but they can be hard to find and a rarely in stock”

“Love....love...love. Great vibes. I've been coming to this spot for years. Local bar with great cocktails that always hits the spot. I personally love the Montenegro Mule and Gin Fizz (maybe the wrong name...check the menu). The food is back baby. So good....it's a win...win for us .”

“Was not aware it was veggie only before walking in. Asked if they had tuna. My bad. Lol I have a food allergy. I use to be vegetarian for five years actually. So I have a great appreciation for vegetarian meal preparation. Got the lentil patty, the salmon patty, and queen smoothie. All delicious. It would be helpful if the patties or the bag they go in had an indication of the filling to decipher which is which when ordering multiple. Smoothies are made fresh so alterations are possible. Employee spoke words of affirmation while preparing it. My emotionally unstable self almost cried. Was not expecting any of it but appreciated all of it.”

“The goat curry here is good and they give a very reasonable portion. However, I tried the chicken curry and it was absolutely flavorless. Not to mention, all of the chicken were red and not cooked well. Tried chicken stew and fried chicken as well and both are mediocre in taste. One guy working there also have attitude over something as simple as asking for a second fork as it’s two of us. I would only recommend for goat curry.”

“Place is decorated nice. Space is a bit narrow so it will seem crowded quick. Portions are small but tasty. Wings were nicely done. The food in general was good. The mac and cheese is really cheesy so for anyone that’s not big on cheese, this may not be for you. The broccoli was roasted which gave it a nice touch. Sides do come separate on all orders so be mindful of that. The drinks are good, sneaks up on you. Our server, Makeda, did a great job and was attentive.”

“The staff is kind and very courteous. You choose your items, tell them fried/steamed and the seasoning. Then it's prepared fresh and just the way you like it. Good seafood at affordable prices. Plus no long waiting, a great place to get something to eat. Try the yam fries”

“Fond memories from college days, so excited this place is back. Very clean with big screen TVs if you’re dining or waiting for food, which is a plus. Super friendly service, amazing value and portions for TGTG. This is definitely a neighborhood favorite”

“Food is always fresh. Great value only 11$ for lunch special with extra like green edamame and miso soup. They switch to brown rice for no extra charge. Plate was bigger than my iPad. Awesome place to grab lunch.”

“Yesterday I had the “need” for a Poke. So, I ordered one from Kiku Sushi. While the thin layer of fish and avocado appeared pretty fresh, the “Poke Bowl” was acutely more of a Chirashi Don, as it was mostly consisted of a pile of unflavored rice. I haven’t had a Poke Bowl in NYC before, so my only reference were the ones I previously had in Hawaii. Be that as it may, a pile of unflavored rice with a thin layer of fish wasn’t exactly what I had in mind.”

“This place is EVERYTHING! The wait was a little long but worth it ! My salmon and shrimp was delicious . The only negative is they need coco bread to go with this deliciousness!”

“First off we started off with a great server she greeted us when we walked in and was wonderful. Now the drinks and food on the other hand I ordered Asian Wings and they were not what I expected no taste and I don’t have Covid so it wasn’t what I expected but I don’t return food I asked for some Buffalo sauce…(server did ask if I wanted to get something different but I declined) I also had Rum Punch which tasted more like tequila and orange juice. It was a first for me here the music and place was ok there’s a outdoor area to sit it is a little small but the environment was overall good.”

“This is def a brunch spot! The menu is short and easy, they have different specials throughout the week. The music and drinks are so fun, it's a great spot to just catch up with friends. It wasn't too hard to find parking either since there are a lot of residential in the area. When we walked in, we had to put down our names, address, phone number, and email. Before seating us, we had to get our temperature checked too. It was really anti COVID friendly, I haven't really been going out, so that was my first time seeing something like that. I appreciate them for doing that. Everyone looked happy to be there, especially when their drinks came! Their drinks are so colorful and photogenic, we couldn't resist and had to order one too. We tried their Buttermilk Fried Chicken Sandwich and chicken tacos. For only $14 each I couldn't be happier. The workers were super nice and efficient. The server/host gave us great recommendations, everything was perfect. Thank you for an amazing time!”

“This place offers an OK Banh Mi sandwich. I've ordered the traditional, but their filling is mostly grounded beef. Also, the Vietnamese Ice coffee here was good as well. All-in-all a good welcomed asian restaurant to the neighborhood.”

“Wonderful establishment. Staff always so friendly. Hands down some of the best cocktails I’ve had in my 12 year span in this city. 9 bucks a pop. Was 13 bucks for all you see in the picture. Killer happy hour runs til 8. Music and energy hit. Vibes.”

“Southwestern bar and restaurant in Greenpoin Brooklyn. Beautiful place to hang out with friends and family. They have everything made in the house from biscuits and bacon to fry chicken and mushroom gravy . Mushroom gravy was good but a little to salty for me. Wedge salad we got was crispy and fresh with good amount of dressing and candied walnuts. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I should go back there for happy hour for sure.”
