“If you set your heart or palate on a certain taste, like a pizza, you best satisfy it or it could put you in a sour mood. A good hot pizza, fast service & Google made a big difference in our Monday aftetnoon! Here's how it happened. We were enjoying Cobbs Hill reservoir and decided on what to eat for lunch. My husband wanted a small pizza from Chester's on Park Ave. He called to place his take out order & was told it would be 40 minutes. Forty minutes later at 1:00 pm, he was at Chester's to pick up his pizza. The guy at the counter told him he was waiting for the delivery guy to come in & make the pizza so his pizza was not even made. Needless to say, my husband was not happy, cancelled his order & left. Back in the car, I quickly took my cell phone & asked Google for the nearest Pontillo's Pizzeria. She said the one on Monroe Ave was the closest. We called Pontillio's, he placed his order & 10 minutes later he had a piping hot Pontillio's pizza in hand. We drove back to rhe top of Cobbs Hill where he ate his small pizza with complete satisfaction. So, Pontillo's Pizzeria saved the day!! With a "full tummy," satisfied palate & smiling eyes my husband was ready to finish enjoying our afternoon.”

“Hot Pot here is so fun! It makes for a great interactive eating experience. You choose ingredients, choose a broth, and once the broth is warm enough you cook your own food! It doesn't take long to cook the thinly sliced ingredients in the boiling broth. It's more expensive than just ordering from their Chinese food menu, but worth it if you're able to try it out! “If you are looking for decor, this is not the best place for that other than the water fountain in the front entrance. The inside reminds me of a diner set up, but if you are looking for quality authentic Chinese food I would recommend definitely giving this place a shot. The food and service here was extremely good. I have had Chinese food many times. But this is the first time I have actually had authentic Chinese food that was Americanized. I had the Lamb Soup with Noodles...If you order this from the menu and it is listed at $10.99 it is going to be very spicy because of the hot oil they put in the broth; so you will need a lot of rice.. or they some liquid they can put in to defuse the heat so you can actually eat it. I did find out afterward if I came back that they have listed somewhere on the menu the lamb soup with noodles is listed and it is also not spicy you just have to make sure you ask for it! But it was extremely good. I have not complaints. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive.”

My family ordered everything and we shared. “Lovely staff and delicious food. I love the variety of food they offer. You can grill your own meats here if you want, or get one of the skillet dishes, or many others. I don't know the names of most dishes yet, but I have many friends who return often. They have smaller tables up front and a nice, big section in the back. It was good for our group of 7. We could converse and not worry about bothering others. They were really nice about how we paid as well. We went to the front and paid for what we ate there. It was a nice, clean location with delicious dishes. I was not disappointed one bit. Looking forward to our next visit!”
