“Food was good and dishes were large. Actually they were little too large to eat 3 course menu. But fixed price for 3 course menu was so attractive so its worth to order that. Jazz music was very entertaining. But it was played quite loudy so if you have sensitive hearing take earplugs with you.”

“A locally owned small joint with excellent kitchen and a bar to die for. Enjoy the best of NY musicians jamming to the notes of jazz with passionate voices. Order the Special Coffee to warm up your body and soul from the chilly Northeast winter. I would definitely recommend and will surely come back on my next trip to New York.”

“I had a great time. It was an unexpected treat. Took the boat ride to Staten Island with spectacular views of the New York/New Jersey skylines and Lady Liberty. The boat had the upper deck for open views, a cozy family friendly/romantic restaurant on main level and awesome lower level lounge with fantastic bar and music. The staff was wonderful. And the drinks better, not watered down. It's a great time for a girls or guys night out, an amazing date or just to party with friends. It was impromptu for us. But I would definitely like to go again for a romantic and intimate memory with someone special on a warm summer's eve. It was freezing that night but worth every shiver. Thank you Pier 81! It made my day in New York that more exciting.”

“LOVE this bar. Went with some friends after work. The staff was soooo friendly. I've never met such personable bar tenders in my life. Yvonne and Sean were awesome!!”

“Great time, organized an outing with around 30. Contacted reservations to get packages and pricing. (Several different proce points) and very accommodating. Excellent atmosphere, the whole gathering thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Service was acceptable, one improvement point is food, it was pub sort, but no one really had a positive take. All in all, recommended.”

“The food here was fresh and delicious! The manager (Orlando) went out of his way to make the visit especially wonderful by showing us the rooftop bar and giving us a nice tour. We went for my birthday and the staff went out of their way to make it feel like a very special event. Would definitely recommend!”

“Best Drag experience in NYC! I've been twice and I can't wait to go back. Food is delicious, staff is fierce but friendly and the entertainment is on point. Tens, tens, tens across the board.”

“Yes! This is a great find. Very fun eclectic vintage vibe. Staff was sweet and welcoming. Pick this spot when you want something unique but not looking to spend $$$$ at a fancy cocktail joint (which I also love-just not everyday).”

“Great bar, excellent selection of beer on tap and bottled. They also have some fun house drinks. My friend and I got beers and a shot of well tequila which definitely wasn't bad. The atmosphere is really nice, definitely feels like home. One of their TVs is a little broken because the red shows up as green so sitting at the bar this looked pretty trippy. Overall this is a nice place, the bartender was very nice and they take card or cash.”

“Must try this place. Great atmosphere. Cool fireplace and a couple of couches to relax on. Good selection of cocktails, though pricey, as you might expect. Wonderful time here with my wife tonight.”

“I live near the hotel and am a regular for a reason. It's fabulous. The decor, food and service are excellent. The entertainment is always amazing. I see some negative reviews but they all seem to refer to the pricing in relation to what they received. It's expensive and quality is always expensive. I've travelled the world and this place, where Café society flourishes is definitely worth every penny.”

“Everything was delicious. Since it was Sunday, they offer a brunch menu. For $53, you get to chose the appetizer, entree, and desert. I had the egg Benedict with the crab. And the desert was the pistachio creme pastry. The restaurant gives two complimentary baskets of Madeline cakes, which were delicious, they melted in your mouth.”

“Had afternoon tea there. It was a luxurious atmosphere and very expensively decorated. However, it was much too expensive for what you receive. Unfortunately, the Ritz is banking on its name for the value and not the quality (or quantity)you should receive. I recommend it only for a special occasion...some you do once to say you've done it.”
