“Fast and friendly service. I ordered a full Cuban sandwich. As I watched it being made, the owner told me that she has worked in pizzerias locally for years but is originally from south Florida and brought the perfect Cuban sandwich recipe that she grew up eating. She explained how she bakes her own bread for the Cuban so it holds up and gives a perfect crisp. She uses a homemade spread on the inside of the bread with two types of mustard and mayonnaise. Then gives full coverage of Swiss cheese on one side and layers slices of ham on the other. Then piles on a huge amount of pork which she explained she slow cooks a whole pork loin, then chops it up, and adds her own seasoning. Next is the hand diced pickles strewn inside. She then folds it shut and massages the top and bottom of outside in butter to prepare it for the panini press. This Cuban sandwich is fantastic. If you like a sandwich that gives your money’s worth in meat, and a consistency of texture and taste with every bite, then this is for you. Enjoy.”

“I was sad when the last restaurant in this location closed, but this place is excellent too! The food is authentic, cheap, really tasty and the portions are big enough for leftovers! The menu is in spanish, but don't worry if you don't know Spanish, you can use the pictures! They accept credit cards and they have delivery on doordash.”

“Food was just as good as it was the first time I went there. However the waitress could have been a little bit faster. There was barely any people there and we waited a while for her to come over and ask what we wanted to eat, then she forgot my hashbrows... but I'd definitely go back just because the food is that good. Definitely recommend”

“Went there tonight on a Thursday night and it was very good. It wasn't too busy and we got a table right away. The waitress was quick and friendly and brought our drinks right out. Food was served about 20 minutes after we ordered. I got the hot covered turkey sandwich and my fiancé got a bacon cheeseburger. Both were good. I got the grilled asparagus spears as my side and they were some of the biggest, fattest asparagus I've ever eaten. The French fries that came with the burger were excellent! I kept stealing them off his plate. My only complaints would be very minor things: The blinking open sign was in the window by our table and got a little obnoxious after a few minutes. Not a ton of appetizer choices. Usually we split an appetizer, but between lactose intolerance and a shellfish allergy, the only thing we really could have shared (that I recall) was chicken tenders. Bathrooms were pretty run down, although they did have a handicap accessible stall which is good, and I imagine they'll update in the future. All in all, those things are very minor and not at all worth removing a star in my mind. Total price for two entrees and a beer was $35. Definitely will be going again!”

“Very tasty food. Numerous choices for entree, such as pork or chicken or fish or sometimes a veggie entree such as eggplant with spinach that was delicious. Have returned numerous times. My friends love the place too and have returned and also gotten takeouts. Ample portions. The place renews one's spirit. Soothing music. 10$ for your choice of meat, plus two vegetables of your choice-- from about 4-8 different vegetables-- a relaxing, Arty environment. Owner is a creative, talented, gifted cook. It is very healthy. It is a classy place with interesting art, and a nice place to linger and chill out....anybody who can't appreciate this place should go to a fast food joint instead.... Hours are noon to 8 on Monday through Friday....”

“Amazing hot chocolate. Tasty food, but hard to tell the size/portion you will get when ordering. I ordered a caprese salad for lunch. It was delicious, but I didn't realize it was the size of a coffee saucer ( basically 2 rows of tomato and cheese on a saucer with balsamic drizzle). I ended up sharing my mom's nachos, which were also tasty. There was also some inaccuracies in how our food came out. My husband ordered the wedge salad and specifically asked for no balsamic. The same person who took our order made our food ( you can see into their prep area), and his salad came out covered in balsamic. They did remake it when it was brought to their attention, but seemed confused at the request. Perhaps a ticket system of some kind would help with that communication. The place itself is beautiful and relaxing. There is very little noise, and there is no push to turn tables. I would go back and try again.”
