“This is a pretty great little eatery in Ithaca. I got the Philadelphia-style veggie sandwich. Full of fries and maybe too much lettuce, it was a sloppy messy delight. Totally not healthy at all I'm sure, but it was really quite good. I wasn't able to finish it! I recommend ordering the half-size sandwich if you are eating it in one sitting. If I have one complaint, it's that the sandwich was a bit too sweet for my taste, and the portions too large. But service was very prompt and very friendly. Really cool guys working there. Great vibe. Great quick bite to eat!”

“this place's exterior does not do the food justice. everything was delicious and high quality. No complaints about the service. All and all a great experience that I would recommend. If you like spider rolls try the capital roll. Its a spider roll plus more good stuff. I almost missed it on the menu.”

“Food here is priced very well and tastes decent. Staff is accurate with order and operates like clock work. Family owned business who works hard for their money.”

“It was good local spot to go to. The sandwiches I ordered were breakfast ones and they were tasty. Good selection of sandwiches and subs on the menu. Different way they have customers order food by filling out a slip.”

“Something of a pricey little restaurant, but the food was all high-quality. Small but fairly curated menu. They had no Jack, and the liquor I did receive was nearly cask-strength. Could have been mixed better. The snack board I had (basically a charcuterie, something I typically like) was a bit odd, and could have used some more traditional meats and cheeses. All around an all right little eatery, but plan on spending a decent amount.”

“Excellent selection of coffee drinks, sandwiches, paninis, breakfast and so on! They even have beer on tap and a mini buffet. It’s really a unique little joint with a coffee shop vibe. Nice seating indoors and out and they have their own parking lot which can be difficult to find downtown. My cousin stops here every time she comes to visit and you should too!”

“Delicious, quick, and affordable poke bowls in the heart of Collegetown in Ithaca. The dining area is limited with only stool seating, so don't plan to sit around a table. That said, the food is worth it. My go-to is a big bowl with salmon, tuna, all the fixings and the classic poke sauce. Don't forget the wasabi tobiko!”

“I used to live near the mini mart but I almost never went here, not sure why. Inside they sell a variety of items ranging from snacks, drinks, and liquor, to freshly made subs, pizzas, burgers, and more. There is an eating area inside (and outside, I guess) and free wifi as well. The gas pumps run slow if multiple people are pumping at the same time - be warned.”

“Some of the best fried oysters I've ever had. The price was a tad bit steep yet for what we got, it was worth it; after all you get what you pay for. I highly recommend this place. I think they do fresh catch from the ocean if not themselves they buy directly from a beach location. Again I really give 5 stars but this place was good.”

“Great Asian food! The place is nice and curated, beautifully decorated. The plates are simple but with a great taste. Loved the curry! Definitely will come again. Decently priced.”

“Zaza's is great for a special dinner or just in general. The New Zealand lamb rack is always my go to entree and it is always cooked to perfection. If you order medium, it comes out medium, if you order rare, it comes out rare, etc. The kitchen really knows what they are doing. The desserts are always top notch and the service is great. Everyone is always so nice and helpful and make you feel at home.”

“It is tucked away from the road a bit which gives it a nicer and more relaxed vibe. It is right on the water for great outdoor summer eating. The food is delicious and fair priced, especially considering it is a bit more upscale. The New England clam chowder was perfect. The coconut shrimp are few in quantity, but big in size and taste. The Loaded Sheppards Pie is ridiculously good. It looks small, but it is packed with steak. You will not be disappointed. Our server was on point and sweet as pie too. You can't ask for a better experience.”

“Seemed promising given that it's literally located in a gas station but the chicken turned out to be very disappointing. Dark meat was dry, under-seasoned, and tough. Side dishes were also lacking and had been sitting out the entire day. I would recommend the fried chicken only if it is coming fresh out of the fryer.”

“I Love Papa John's pizza in Ithaca,NY. Every time I walk in the staff is always pleasant. The tall African American girl has a smile on her face and always acknowledges every customer. !!!”

“Solid venue! We tried pretty much everything on the menu (which is fairly limited) and it was all good bar fare. I recommend the French fries, because you can never go wrong with those! The staff were all super polite and helpful. The atmosphere is good - it's on the water, so it's got a nice back deck in warmer weather. And the show we saw was excellent, which always helps... definitely recommend!”

“Simeon's was a quaint restaurant with an awesome ambiance for dinner. The drinks were good and the Chilean Sea Bass was good as well. Also, their artichoke appetizer was a nice surprise.”

“The pizza was good, with a very rustic wood-fire character. The San Marzano sauce was very nice. The crust is good, but lacking crunch despite a tad too much char for my taste. The menu options are compelling for what it is and there's an OK beer and wine list (better than expected for the venue). But the cost was high for what it was. At the end of the day, you can get far better pizza far cheaper elsewhere. The biggest con, though, is place itself. It's ridiculously cramped to the point where you can't get up to go to the bathroom without asking other diners to move. And when it's filled up (not hard to do) it's so loud you'll think you're at Alehouse during happy hour. Very hard to have conversation.”

“Made a reservation on a Friday at 6pm. Quick service, phenomenal food, and extremely fair prices. The portions are just the right size too. And, if you care about this kind of thing, the speakers they have sound great! Definitely going on my "top 3 places to go in Ithaca" list”

“I deliver for Ithaca to go and I was waiting for a order from them. When The guy that was working kindly offered me a slice while I was waiting. I have to say it was one of the most savory and delicious slices I’ve ever had. So if you want pizza from a place with very kind staff and amazing pizza combined with great prices I highly recommend Bella’s pizza on the commons in Ithaca.”

“Top quality Japanese food. Service and food preparation is super fast! Restaurant interior is very homely and simplistic with beautiful wall decor. Food was extremely flavorful and succulent. Plenty of options for vegetarian/gluten-free folks. Only issue is that it seems understaffed; our waitress was running around and seemingly overworked, with her kids helping out a bit. She forgot one of our entrees, but we did have a large group with a complex order, so it was understandable. With more waiters, more patrons can be served faster. Overall highly recommended, and if I were around the area, I would come much more frequently.”

“Love this place! The fried rice is pretty great (especially with hot sauce!) and the staff is so kind. There's one staff in particular who always urges me to try something new and I've yet to be disappointed! A little hidden because it is in Center Ithaca, but you'll want to keep coming back. ”

“Excellent all vegan cuisine which is tasty and beautiful. There's an innovative Star Trek based vibe and decoration. All kinds of games where you can sit and play well dining or having coffee or tea. A wonderful bookstore downstairs called Autumn Leaves which carries a myriad of used books. I highly recommend this Ten Forward and Autumn Leaves”

“Saw an elderly lady making dumplings from scratch, rolling the dough and filling the dumplings. So I tried it out. It was really yummy and love the chili sauce!! Even the soup I had was great!! Slight wait as things are made to order and it was with an elderly couple.”

“Special Tip: I love the way they cook their beets! I love Ethiopian Cuisine and this is definitely the best I've had in the Finger Lakes region. I do wish it was a little less pricey though as it makes me hesitate before returning due to cost.”

“My aunts and I just went in for a drink after shopping downtown - amazing craft cocktails that are priced like wine!! I loved my Monk Gin Fizz. We had great service from Jewelle, who was so down to earth in what you might think is a very fancy establishment. Definitely stop by for a drink!”

“Best Indian restaurant in Ithaca, hands down! Serves authentic North Indian flavors and usually provides quick service. My one caveat: ordering dinner from the menu is much better than trying the buffet lunch.”
