Breakfast or lunch options which the staff were happy to change or add to if requested. Small bar inside for seats but plenty of seating outside the front or back, perfect for multiple kids or dogs ! A range of locally brewed beers for sale including the stores own Yard owl. Was a great stop off before and after a hike, will be coming back.”

“Visited on a Saturday afternoon in mid-May. It’s an OK brewery taproom. Pretty good range of beers, a mix of old school and modern styles. Average pricing - $10 for a flight of four beers is what I had. Friendly and attentive service. The quality of the beers is fairly average. I tried a couple lagers, a session IPA and a stout. Each one was just about drinkable but I wouldn’t rush back to any of them.”

“Buttermilk Falls Inn and Spa is absolutely beautiful. The grounds are phenomenal, with a lovely view of the Hudson, picturesque ponds, and rolling greens. The owners have rescued most (all?) of the animals, which were so fun to visit. Make sure check out their beautiful aviary, with 2 chickens coops and the peacocks are a riot. If you’re staying in the North Cottage you will definitely hear them coo and squawk! Our experience with the staff was excellent-everyone was super friendly and they went above and beyond to help us. Dinner at Henry’s was amazing-if you like cocktails, highly recommend the Bees Knees and the scallops were delicious. Breakfast is included-it’s a small menu with impressive execution by Chef Jennie - who would have thought Zucchini Walnut pancakes would be so life-changing! Overall, our stay was lovely and restful-a truly beautiful property, and we can’t wait to come back!”

“This is my favorite music venue in the Hudson Valley! They always book incredible musicians/bands (either local or world renowned) and the shows are always amazing. Besides the awesome music, they have a great menu with delicious food. The Falcon has also opened up their “Beer Garden” downstairs, which makes my experience there now twice as nice! When you venture down there, you’ll often see another band performing, a full bar and more food options. I highly recommend this place for music lovers or anyone who is looking for entertaining night out on the town.”

“I had a good experience. Service and staff were friendly and inviting. Seating and atmosphere were comfortable, a touch romantic for an afternoon breakfast alone, but still pleasant. Coffee was fresh and not excessively bitter, and the food was cooked to perfection. I suppose it might make you wonder, "why 4 stars?" The reason is because despite all of this things, the food was boring. While the plating and texture were something of a knowledgeable and experienced chef, the flavor made me feel as though they were afraid to take any risk. I worried for a moment that I was only having covid symptoms but the bold flavor of the coffee reassured me. I had specifically chosen an omelet with chorizo, as well as French toast because I knew that they typically have happy pops of vibrant flavor. It just fell kind of flat, like maybe the chef was preparing a meal for someone too old to handle complex notes of spice. I would love to eventually come back, have a better meal, and make this a 5 star review but I just seek a little more ambition from the kitchen. Thank you for having me. I'll be seeing you.”

“Bad Seed was the absolute most amazing wedding venue. We wanted a more casual atmosphere for our wedding day, and after visiting Bad Seed last year, we instantly knew this was the spot. Over this past year, Bad Seed made a number of upgrades to their space (paved outdoor lot, new picnic tables, music stage, etc...) which made our wedding even more spectacular. Devin was super communicative from day one when we booked our wedding all the way up to the day of. He answered any and all of our questions, and went above and beyond to accommodate our requests for our wedding day. We went to Bad Seed the day before to set up some items, and left the rest in the hands of Bad Seed, and when we arrived on our wedding day, we were amazed at how fantastic the space looked. The staff and bartenders were the most awesome crew, so friendly, fun, and down to earth. They were all so helpful throughout the night, as well as for clean-up. We will forever be going to Bad Seed and recommending them to everyone - many, many thanks and cheers to the entire group at Bad Seed!”
