“Happened upon this gem with a friend after Pride! It’s been a while so don’t quote but the vibes, the crowd, and the music was amazing! I was loving the energy. The menu was a little overwhelming to me because I wanted something different but all my friends were having seafood. I chose Yassa Poisson Chicken and I made the best decision. It was straight fire! The flavor was out of control! I wanted to go right back but unfortunately not longer hung with those friends and couldn’t remember the name of the restaurant! I have since figured out the ingredients and taught myself how to make it but I will never forget what inspired me and the experience. I definitely recommend and need to go back!”

“Our friends recommended us the Marie Blachere location in Manhattan and we visited the Great Neck location on our way to Garden City. The decor is wide-spaced and cozy with a lot of indoor & outdoor seating. The environment and ambiance is perfect as a place for breakfast or afternoon tea. Their pastry & bread options were various and we had 4 different pastries: Almond Croissant, Sugar Brioche, Blueberry Scone & Cinnamon roll. The pastries were overall not memorable and the price was kind of high with its portion in our opinions. Our favorite was the Sugar Brioche, which is soft & puffy but the delicacy of its texture wasn’t comparable with our other go-to bakeries.”

“Quite possibly the best bagel I’ve ever eaten. I went to Hopewell Hot Bagels on a Sunday at 10:30am. Didn’t walk out with my order till about 11am. Be prepared to wait and just know it’s worth it. Don’t try and call in during this time because you’ll be met with a busy tone. Pictured is a everything bagel with scallion cream cheese and bacon along with an egg bagel with fried eggs, bacon and American cheese. I also picked up a donut, a dozen bagels and coffee since I visiting a friend in the area and didn’t want to go empty handed. Fun fact: they carry Katz donuts in almost all variety and quantities. If you know about Katz, visiting this spot is worth that alone. All items were reasonably priced and everything tasted amazing. You’ll be met with a busy staff and long line wrapped into the dining room if you go during a rush hour. Besides that, I know I had one of the best breakfast bagels in the Hudson Valley. I’ll be back very very soon! Hopewell Hot Bagels, keep doing what you’re doing - You’re excellent at it.”

“We visited Red Lotus Bakery & Cafe after seeing its poster of various pastry selections since my husband is a super fan of Hong Kong style bakery. The decor is authentic, clean and narrow-spaced with only 2 indoor dining tables available. We got 2 Pineapple Buns, a Taro Bun and a box of Pork Floss cake with Mayonnaise. The price is overall reasonable with proper portion. The buns were overall delicious and filled with plenty of flavorful fillings. However, the cake wasn't as delicate as what we expected, so we won't recommend it.”

“Waited on a long line out the door with a buddy that needed to wake up. We had the ice cold coffee and an everything bagel with lox spread. The coffee was great and the bagel was missed being toasted which would of made the fresh made bagel extra crunchy with the bites of salmon in the lox. We decided to eat in and enjoy our breakfast meal. Only taking away one point for the dining tables that were filthy and could of used a table cloth to wipe off the crumbs from some else's meal on the table. The bagels were good....but asked for the bagels to be toasted and none of them were…place looks great, with so much eye catching art. I wasn't a fan of the staff. They all seemed very young , not serious, and inattentive. They were playing around and the service was so slow... and there was no line! One of the girls was good, but she disappeared and then some one else took over and didn't know what we ordered and she didn't make the iced hazelnut coffee as to my liking. Overall the coffee and food was good but it wasn't warm and toasty.”

“I can't truly rate this place on their food because I only a bagel today...but I'll say this.. seems to be a quiet, all about business place. I say that because when. I walked in a few workers were restocking so the energy was just work work work. There was "Hellos" or "Hi's" or small talk when customers came in. But for the place itself, they sell sandwiches, bagels, sweets, pastries, coffee, and more. There are seats and tables inside and a few outside. They have a bathroom. Free parking lot. There is a sign near the register that reads Paying with cash gets you their "discounted" prices but paying with credit and debit card expect a 3.25% fee. (..sounds like some gas stations right) There's a couple of community newspapers available between the sets of doors.”
