“I brought my kids to the playground by the Pier and saw the Roots & Leaves truck by chance. I bought one of each donut flavor and an iced latte with a splash of caramel flavor. DELICIOUS !!! “We visited 3 breakfast places while staying in the area. This was the best based on the number of available food and drink options. They had really good coffee drinks, fresh bakery, quiche, bagel sandwiches and more. The food was really good and so was the customer service atmosphere. “Bagels are delicious. Not Einstein bagel good but still good. If you are looking for a bagel place in the area then worth going. They have good variety of spreads and cream cheeses. For beverages only coffee and some bottle juices. No speciality drinks. They are open in the morning so check timings before going. Anything less than 4 stars is probably people individual experience but overall bagels are good.”

“What is not to like about Wee Winks? This is the perfect one stop shop in Duck, NC. Their selection of beer, wine and cheeses was all I needed to make a charcuterie board and pair it with excellent wine and beer. Also, great selection on breakfast and lunch to go. Everything in the store is well stocked and organized. Felt pretty safe inside, and much better than going to a big supermarket with tons of people around and long waiting lines.”

I absolutely love the carrot ginger soup and was sad the last time they sold out. The atmosphere out there is amazing and so comfortable you won't want to leave. “Just say, finding this place is a must for breakfast! Before leaving the area to head back home, we stopped off to enjoy one final meal and we are so glad we did. It doesn’t quite look like a place that would have such an extensive menu but it does and all that we got was delicious! Our waitress was delightful, friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu and fan favorites. Our meals were not just delicious but very filling and not expensive at all! We’re just sorry we didn’t go earlier in our stay to eat dinner.”

“The staff was so friendly and helpful. The interior is a little dated, but the product is killer! Warm donuts on a stick with ice cream?! Yes, please! And don’t let the idea of a donut milkshake scare you. I was skeptical too, but it was kind of a cookies and cream texture, once the cookie gets soft. Total meal replacement!”
