“It is a tradition for my family and I to visit the dunes restaurant, and yet again it did not disappoint! Great food and fast service with very pleasant staff! Although we did not partake, their buffet was well maintained and was filled with delicious foods, from delectable pastries to fresh and sweet fruits. If you are in this neck of the woods, definitely stop by! They even have a souvenir shop which has everything from soaps to toys and even hand made jewellery!”

“Beautiful sunset. Wonderful food. A couple local brews on the menu. Very busy. Very efficient. I enjoyed watching the waiters, waitresses, and customers all interacting and having a great time. “I haven't been to Pamlico Jack's in a very long time and so glad we went. Food was amazing, service was fast and friendly and the view of the sound was breathtaking. Everyone enjoyed their meal. One of the best shrimp & grits I've had, husband loved his meatloaf and other family members said seafood dishes were delicious. We often eat at local restaurants where the seafood is especially excellent but sometimes a man just has to have a steak! Tonight was that night for me yet the offered steak shrimp combos if you prefer both. We have visited this OUTBACK several time or the last few years and always return when we make our annual trip to the Outer Banks.”

“Yes. Do it. The pizza is amazing. Even the pepperoni pizza was done perfectly. Two small kids who loved it. We ate inside and the staff were friendly and helpful. We returned for the BBQ brisket pizza and it did not disappoint. Affordable, quick service, great pizza, friendly faces--you won't regret it. There are small tables/booths inside this business, which is on the corner in a small plaza, so it's easy to miss/pass by.”

“We had subs there on Aug. 21 2019 and the food was great and service was excellent. We told out daughter in law about it and decided to try again but the service lacked alot, we waited behind only one couple and they had to wait on a booth, so gave our drink order and waited so long we decided to just leave. It was not crowded and didn't see our waitress and finally saw her talking to a guy at the bar. It was also hot not sure if trouble with air or not. Our first experience was very good.”

“Kind of a little hole in the wall, directly attached to the Inn. The salsa was spicy and well flavored, the cheese dip was very good but I found the chips strange, almost like they were some kind of specialty quinoa/black bean chip but to me it didn’t work and plain corn chips would be infinitely better. The chicken enchiladas were AMAZING. Great enchilada sauce. Taco was okay, rice and beans were pretty typical but the beans were spicy which I personally loved. Don’t avoid this place, but be prepared for the strangeness of the chips.”

“We found this place on the first day of our vacation. They have an AMAZING breakfast buffet every weekend. We went pretty much daily. The owner makes everything from scratch and her clam chowder is to die for. They are also a couple the sweetest people I've ever met. They treated us as if they'd known us forever. It was honestly the most welcome I've ever felt anywhere. Will hopefully be able to rent a place close by so we can go there during our next vacation.”

“Really enjoyed going to Sooey's. I got the Angus burger and my wife got the Brisket. Both were great. The burger was very simple with lettuce, tomato, onion, American cheese and mayo. Sometimes the simplest burgers taste the best and this really hit the spot. The burger had that nice grill taste and had a good seer on it which kept the juices on the inside of the burger. The fries were also very good. I tried some of the brisket which was very moist and had a good char and bark on the outside which gives brisket its classic yummy flavors. You can eat either inside or outside. This cool place is right off 158. I have attached some pictures below. I would certainly go back again.”

“I stayed across the street from this place for a whole week and was not disappointed by any of the food or sweets we had. I had the fish taco, mozzarella sticks, and several snow cones.
