“Almost B rating for this store, which is a bit of turn off but I can see it here. Staff is always friendly and nice, but slow to get things done. The food is also always good! Updated: I think they are taking reviews serious. Place has gotten much better the past month! More staff members per shift, service is quicker, the staff is still always friendly and the food remains great! I continue to come here weekly, sometimes multiple times a week. Give them a try.”

“A great place for kids, with easy sitting and kid-friendly food options. Also, the staff at this location are always nice, and I've never had a bad experience. I usually order the food to go, but eat it there. That makes it easier to clean up after my kids, and to take my kids leftovers home. This location also has a Coca-Cola freestyle, which has a ton of Hi-C options, which my kids love. I usually do half water half Hi-C. The only downside here is that the parking is not awesome, especially during peak times. But, for this style of food this is the best option within a few miles.”

“This was a great find! I loved the environment of the restaurant and the customer service was great. There were plenty of menu items to choose from. Me and my girlfriend had to spend some time finding the best dish. I decided to wing it and get a deep fried fish. The texture was amazingly smooth and melted to the tongue. I added some hot sauce to it to spice it up a bit. It's best to eat it with tortilla. for dessert we ate a tres leches cake. I couldn't really eat much of it because I'm lactose intolerant.”

“I've been here twice now. I really had no expectations, thinking it was just Outback or Longhorn Steakhouse with Ted Turner's name on it. My expectations we're highly exceeded. Although the food was good my second visit, it wasn't as good the first time. I did get something else though. The sides and entrees are filling and flavorful. They're not overpowering in flavor or appearance, so the presentation and experience is, pardon the pun, tasteful. The atmosphere is quiet and inviting, the service is prompt and friendly. The free pickles (as opposed to bread) was a surprising and nice change - they're very good. I will be returning, as there are many dishes I'd like to try.”

“We arrived at 7pm on a Wednesday evening and were seated immediately. Our server, Courtney was attentive and grabbed our drink order as soon as we sat down. We placed our food order within 10 minutes. Then, we watched everyone around us (including those who arrived after us) receive their food. At the 7:55 mark, Courtney returned asking if we wanted an app since the kitchen was backed up. At that point, frustrated due to the lack of communication, we asked for the check to pay for our beverages, and she agreed. She returned a minute later with our kitchen entrees which we obligingly took. The sushi we ordered came shortly after. It was frustrating to see food and patrons come and go while we sat in the middle of the dining area just completely unaware of why our food was taking so long. I saw a couple who finished their first round of sushi after we placed our food order receive a second round of sushi before we got anything, despite placing their second order well after we had placed our initial one. We saw Courtney working incredibly hard, and our drinks were always refilled without even a request, but surely a wait time of close to 50 minutes after placing a food order should be addressed, or at least acknowledged. The restaurant is beautiful and seemed well staffed, and I'm not sure if we just got lost in the cracks, dropped ticket, or what happened, but it left enough of a sour taste that it's unlikely we will return. Kudos to our server for really working to help us get out quickly once our food arrived.”

It was my second time to a Melting Pot, and my husband’s first time. The only negative experience we had was out of the control of the staff. The lights went out and power was lost for a few seconds.
