“Food and service was good. I had the Chicken Parmesan with pasta and my wife had the Eggplant Parmesan and both dishes were ok. The best thing about Mario's Pizza is the pizza. Being from the NJ/NY metro area we know good pizza and theirs is GREAT. 4 Stars for the pizza.”

“The food was very good at Mayberry's. It's been 3-4 weeks when I went there, so I'm not sure what I ate. I remember it being do good. We also got a Carmel sundae and split it. It was delicious!!”

“Great fried chicken sandwich! It was seriously so good that I didn't care that it was messy and awkward to eat. I think the prices are appropriate given the atmosphere and food quality. Awesome place to come hang out for date night or go out with friends. Nice laid back fun vibe, music not too loud. It's not somewhere I'd bring my kids because it feels more like an adult escape than a family place. Definitely more of a bar than a restaurant, upscale and sophisticated but also chill. I love the big trees and the warmth of all the string lights. Bartenders and servers were all friendly and attentive. Cool place. We will be back. Hope they will be putting up LIGHTS in the PARKING LOT soon.”

“Interesting atmosphere, VERY tasty food, restaurant has 2 entrances (where you can just eat and bar). I liked location too. Staff was VERY nice and friendly even though it was very busy. Milkshakes are SUPER delicious and look awesome. Definitely would recommend this place ????????”

“It was a dope little spot to chill and get some good food, drinks and music. We were there on a Saturday night and they had a dj. I loved that it was a diverse group of people there. I'd definitely go back!”

“I work downtown and have eaten at Local several times. It has always been delicious and the service spectacular, but today I tried something new and it was a game changer. The fried chicken sandwich is amazing. Get it. Also, for grabbing a quick - good - lunch downtown the price can't be beat. You would pay just as much or more for ONE sandwich and a drink or a side (not a full meal) at Jimmy Johns.”

“OMG!!! I should've made it a priority to get here sooner than I did. I love this place. All the different plates, S&P shakers and coffee mugs make this place feel so homey. The service is friendly and efficient, and the food is fantastic. The biscuits are huge and amazing!! I highly recommend”

“My family and I ate at Mission Pizza Napolentana on a busy Friday evening. This was without a doubt, the best dining experience I've ever had. The atmosphere was quaint and fun, the server was EXCEPTIONAL, and the food...oh my gosh, the food... high quality ingredients, cooked perfectly, each item even more delicious than the previous. Loved everything about this restaurant. Try the appetizers (grilled veggies, wood-fired cauliflower), pizza, and save room for dessert--a brown paper bag full of heaven!”

“The waitress was very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was very nice and the restaurant was clean. The menu choices all sounded wonderful. They have a lot to choose from. Everything I had here was very yummy. Most places garnish water with lemon, but they used cucumber. How absolutely refreshing!! The draw to this establishment for me though, Scotch Eggs on the menu!!! Scrumptious!! Can't wait to revisit!”

“Food was really good!!! The only reason I gave it 4stars instead of 5 is because they were a little short handed. It seems they were training a server/host, but she was pretty worthless. The woman who actually took our order was really sweet and friendly. Our interaction with her improved the experience we were having. And then the food was delicious, so everything worked out OK. The place is a little expensive, but if you are carving Indian food, this is a great option”

“I was in town for a conference this week and had the fish for lunch and some banana pudding for dessert. It was great! The food and service was phenomenal. Before we left I went back with 2 more co workers and had the chicken and it was great as well. Of course I got some banana pudding for the road. My co workers enjoyed it as well. If you are considering Miss Ora's Kitchen you should definitely go! You will be glad you did.”

“Recently a Charleston Resident, visiting the area to support a local convention up in Winston-Salem, NC and me and my friends happens upon this lovely Sushi spot in the downtown area, right down the road from our hotel, the Merriot. The locals owner was very charismatic, visited all his guests and made wonderful banter with us at the bar. The food, sushi rolls, curry and soup alike, were some of the best I’ve ever had! Please give this great restaurant a visit when in town, you won’t be disappointed! ????”

“Absolutely the best southern/soul food I have ever tasted (well besides my grandmother's)! There is no doubt that pride is taken in the recipes. And to top it all off the staff are friendly, kind and courteous. We were treated as family and not just a patron. Highly highly highly recommend this place and I know we will go back many times. Oh and excellent jazz music playing the whole time.”

“Like others said, it's a great little hole in the wall place. I've lived in winston for 10 years and passed by this place several times without knowing it. Finally looked up some breakfast nooks for my husband and I to go and the menu is straightforward with good prices. I ordered a sandwich, hash browns, and large oj, and my hubs ordered a sandwich, French toast with two eggs and bacon and a coffee. It was SO much food, and it was just over $20 total. They used real country ham and eggs, and everything was just very good. Wasn't crazy about the sticky table, but I guess that comes with the no frills territory. It was pretty busy when we got there at 8, but by 8:30, the place had pretty much cleared out. If you want a nice big hearty breakfast, go here!”

“The food is amazing, the staff is very welcoming and kind. Food to table was quick. Everything is made in house. The chips and salsa here are phenomenal. Everything was seasoned to perfection. This place just tastes better than the chain competitors around town. You'll love it. Only 1 negative in my book. Pepsi products. ..just get tea or beer or tequila instead.”

“Such a wonderful, relaxing spot for a delicious dinner. Innovative martini started it off followed by the pimento cheese dip (addictive) and then diver scallops done to perfection. Vanessa took excellent care of us, mixes a killer drink and did not steer me wrong on food choices. Thanks for a delightful Wednesday evening, we'll be back often!”

“HELLO!! If you are visiting downtown Winston whether it's by yourself, family, friends, a date, I recommend this hot spot! Their staff are amazing, punctual, always on top of their service, and super friendly. I've been here twice now and have not been disappointed. If you are dining in you go upstairs to order just an FYI. They have a nice size arcade, corn hole boards outside, and games at the tables. If you have small kids this is the place to go that they will be entertained while waiting on food. By far the best dish is the brisket sandwich. The sauce is amazing and definitely try the sweet potato fries WITH the sauce... you'll thank me later! There are several galleries and cool little spots close by, check them out!”

“Very unique taco joint to check out when you are in Winston-Salem NC. While waiting for table, we all decided to grab some drinks (local beers); this place definitely have a good selection of local beer and very very reasonable price. Once we got our table, server was very friendly and patience explaining menu and taking orders. Most of us went straight for main course and mix match taco and 2 sides. Let's just say, all were delicious and very well seasoned. Oh yeah, must ask try their house spicy sauce. Over all, it's a great place to eat chill and drink. Next time we are in Winston-Salem, we'll definitely visit this place.”
