“A hidden local gem.. We discovered this small, neighborhood cafe on recommendation by the hotel staff at the Historic Brookstown Inn across the street. The decor and interiors are very inviting... For socializing, working on your laptop, or just enjoying a cup of java and locally-made baked goods. The service was quick and friendly. Highly recommended!”

“Not as Rapid as they say but I was satisfied! Friendly staff! Pricing is ok. They were sold out of what I ordered but that’s not a problem for me, it happens. The one thing I miss is the homely atmosphere that was the old location across the road. With the carpet and fireplace and home colors and feel. It stood out from other eating establishments. The new location and theme makes it just like another fast food joint so I do miss the old look and atmosphere but I would come back here. Just my observations.”

“Food is generally very tasty and not too salty. Staff are friendly. However, presentation is everything. My only complaint is the cleanliness of the store. I feel there should be someone cleaning in the dining room area and bathrooms at all times. Particularly as busy as you you guys get. The soda machine looked pretty rough today, could have used a good cleaning. Floors needed a good vacuum/sweeping/mopping and the trash area needed tending to. Also, there were many tables in need of wiping. Again, food is always good and there's always a friendly smile. Cleanliness just needs a little TLC.”

“My family and I love eating at IHOP, especially since they have the unlimited pancakes stacks, now, if you get a omelette from their menu, and I normally get the big steak omelette, as it is fantastic. Their Chicken and Waffles are great, and my girls always get that. This trip however we had a new server, who apparently does not know, or had not had any training, that you do not hand people their glasses of water or coffee or soda while holding the cup with your fingers around the lid where the person will be drinking, yuck. Our server was however, very nice and accommodating, even though he was a young guy, and new at this IHOP as a server, but he was certainly trying, which is a plus.”

“Ordered a birthday cake and requested purple flowers. I was expecting a simple white frosted cake with 2 or 3 purple flowers placed around the cake. I was amazed at how beautifully decorated the cake actually was. Lowes Bakery went above and beyond my expectations. Everyone who saw the cake commented on how pretty it was and some even took pictures. I know Lowes will be receiving a lot more cake orders. Thank you!!!”

“Amazing Meal. I went with the supreme chicken burritos and a pork taco. Everything was on point. The sauce on the burritos, which were slightly bigger than an enchilada, was fantastic. My server, Nicolas, was super friendly and did a great job. The artwork in the place is also interesting. Lots of times, the artwork at places like this is pretty cheesy, but they had an interesting mix. Well done.”
