“I just walked in after seeing there was a little international food court. I didn’t know which shop to choose, so I just walked to the one that was first in my line of sight and asked for the menu. Ordered the chilaquiles and oh. my. God. I’ve been complaining about the Mexican food in the Triad since I moved down seven years ago, and this was the best Mexican I’ve ever had. I don’t know what I was expecting, but I was NOT expecting it to rock my palette. Holy smokes. I’ll be coming back. So grateful I wandered in on a whim. Don’t be put off by the atmosphere. “The food and the service was awesome! I also appreciate that they have decent weekday specials and I was able to try a lot of food for not a lot of money. I ordered the corn, chicken boa buns, ramen with chicken and the coconut donuts. Everything was hot (except the corn which is a cold dish!) and fresh. The portions were big and the staff was super friendly. I also left with 2 boxes and half a container of leftover ramen because I literally wanted to try everything. We will definitely be back.”

“I tried Noor for dinner. The food was very good. Samosa came out super fast and are made in house. They are crispy and loaded on the inside. The garlic naan was very good. For my entree I had chicken korma. You get to choose the spice level which is nice. For dessert I had graham halwa. It was good however I would have preferred it a little bit sweeter. While I enjoyed the food very much, I thought the service by my waitress was less than desirable. Once my entree was brought they didn’t come back to see how the food tasted or if I needed anything. Nonetheless the food is good and would recommend it.”

“I am not normally one to enjoy bowling because of the atmosphere of bowling alleys... however, Bourbon Bowl has elevated the bowling experience to a whole new level!! The restaurant and bowling alley were both modern and beautifully decorated. The atmosphere felt fun, young, upbeat, and lively! “This place is pretty good, nothing to brag about, though. I got a Philly cheese steak and the kids' tenders, all included with a drink and fries. The fries are perfectly hot and burning fresh, also perfectly seasoned to taste all that yummy extra added on flavor. The tenders were crunchy and room temperature, tasted like cafeteria food from my childhood of being a young kid. The Philly cheese steak was flavorful and warm. It was stuffed and pretty big for what I paid for. I am pretty happy with my first time coming here and would come back every so often to check up on them and try the food again. The price was a bit expensive but it's reasonable for being 100% vegan and they make everything fresh. They also have good music on the beat to enjoy while ur waiting for your food!”

“I recently visited Greensboro for a concert and decided to grab dinner at First Class Luxury Lounge based on a recommendation. I'm so glad I did! The place is cozy, so I'd recommend making a reservation. Even though we were late, the manager, Jasmine, was incredibly accommodating and honored our reservation. We only had time for a quick drink (Margarita, lemon drop and Cosmopolitan) and a salad, but everything was delicious. I also tried the smoked Mac and cheese, which was fantastic. The food we saw others order looked amazing, so I'm definitely planning to come back for a full meal. Our waitress, also named Jasmine, was exceptional. She provided excellent service and made us feel so welcome. Overall, a great experience, and I can't wait to come back, especially for their brunch, as recommended by the staff. Highly recommend checking this place out!”

Went for grand opening and took advantage of the 30% off well worth the price and even at normal price the food would be worth it. The miso soup was yummy and not to salty, the waitress was a little slow but everyone pitched in and helped out so it was a pretty enjoyable service I’ll give them the benefit of doubt that it’s new and waitress is still learning. They should just let you pay 13.99 per lbs to take the leftovers home since they have a food waste policy... that would make more sense. There's always room for improvement!!”

“Real NC foodie here, the owner chef was ruining a little behind schedule but I waited. I’m glad I did he was very professional and courteous. He and the other guy checked on me even call me towards the kitchen to explain that everything is cooked fresh. Honestly there was no need for explanation, I expect to wait on good food. The Jerk Chicken was cooked to perfection, the plantain was fresh, the beef patty was very good. The rice was overcooked, and the cabbage could have been steamed longer, with that said I’m still going to give them another shot. I’ll go later in the day after they have been opened for a few hours. It’s definitely worth a try if you’re looking for good jerk chicken especially in the Greensboro area. Again these young men were very professional and about customer satisfaction.”

“Poke-and-ramen seems to be the High Point area’s latest restaurant trend, and while Poke One loses some of the novelty by not getting there first, it otherwise seems poised to hold its own. Housed in the former Rockaway Eatery location, it’s clean, colorful, and spacious. The menu boasts a few Japanese apps (edamame, Takoyaki, shumai, and, oddly enough, fries) as well as milk and fruit teas, but poke (in bowl or burrito form) and ramen are the core offerings. There are about a half-dozen varieties of each, and you can also build your own of the former. Poke One wisely supplies paper menus that can be filled out to make BYO ordering efficient and convenient. For our first visit, my wife and I each got a build your own poke bowl and a milk tea (taro and strawberry, respectively). Our orders were completed very quickly, and the brightly colored bowls looked amazing. Fortunately, the flavors matched the presentation. I went with a mixture of hot (spicy salmon, spicy mayo), sour (pickled ginger, pickled radish), and sweet (mango). Add to that some cucumber for refreshment, and the bowl was nicely balanced. The ingredients were also fresh, and they don’t skimp on quantity here. The tea was rather sweet, however. Next time, I’ll go with a classic rather than a fruit flavor. What sets Poke One apart from other local options is the competitive pricing. At $11.95 for a poke bowl and $5.70 for a milk tea with bubbles, Poke One is cheaper than either Poke Dream or Ninja Café/Kung Fu Tea. Poke One may not be an innovator, but being able to provide fresh, tasty food quickly makes it a welcome addition nevertheless.”
