“My partner and I came to Eagle Bar and Grill for a wedding Menu Tasting after meeting Tom at a Wedding Festival in Asheville. From the very beginning Tom made us feel very welcome and at ease, he has personal approach and is very passionate about what he does. The staff was friendly and professional, all of them including Tom showed such a detailed high quality service and many times anticipated our wishes. We tried 2 appetizers, 2 mains, 2 deserts and 3 wedding cakes. We expected to have small portions, but Tom served full portions as a dish would have been served at a wedding that we appreciated a lot. The presentation of the food was exquisite, the taste profile was unique and excited our senses. My partner and I not only had a great meal, but conversations and it became an experience to remember. We decided to go with their catering on the spot, and so excited to have this food served to our friends and family at our wedding! I definitely recommend anyone who is looking for a family dinner, a date night or a special occasion catering to go with them!”

“Picturesque and quaint! My spouse and I had a great time during our night here. Our room, the Looking Glass Falls room, had the best view in a hotel I've ever had! Imagine waking up to a postcard perfect view of the Appalachians! The decor is very fresh and fits the area well with all the split agate art on the walls. The free breakfast is a great start to the day. Erin was a fantastic host and told us about the expansions being added in the next year. We'll definitely be back soon!”

“I don’t know if I can find the words to praise The Book and Bee Cafe enough! I made reservations easily and with a friendly, helpful employee for my adult daughter’s birthday. We actually arrived early and the graciously went ahead and seated us. The server was lovely and so attentive. The establishment was absolutely stunning inside! Different rooms with different decor and themes. So super clean and following all the Covid guidelines. We sat in the C.S. Lewis Library ... gorgeous! The food and tea ... perfection! All of the delicious, detailed, scrumptious dainty sandwiches, scones, pastries, etc ... best I have ever enjoyed at much more expensive teas! I like that the menus offers lunches also ... for a hungry man! Though we didn’t finish our tea and all took boxes of food home! Thank you for a lovely day!”

“Great place! Prices are reasonable especially for the big portions that they have... had a bbq sandwich with slaw and it was delicious! The donuts are the cherry on top .. nothing like it in the area! The owners are wonderful, they let my 2 younger kids decorate their own donuts which made it that much better. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back.”

The service was fast, friendly, and very professional during COVID times (we dined in). My only suggestion (if I had to choose one) would be the atmosphere. It was a little dark and quiet. Couldve used some music to set the tone. But there were some pretty cool string lights. ✨”

“We were there for a wedding. What a great place to have our family and friends together. We were able to visit and spend time together. All of the staff was very accommodating and very friendly. They went out of their way to see that we had a great experience. The food was excellent, the servers excellent and very attentive. The meal price was good...the meal I was served would have been double the price in the area I am from. The rooms were clean and the bed very comfortable. You could hear noise a little too easily but other than that our stay was great and I would go back again.”

“Haven't posted a review in a while, but these guys drew me out of my slumber. I got a cheese steak from this joint last week. It's hard to find a good Philly in bigger cities, and Hendersonville has completely let me down in this regard. Until now. These folks are doing a fantastic job.
