“Absolutely fabulous experience! We’ve visited close to 100 seafood restaurants up and down the east cost of the U.S. and Michael’s definitely made the top 5! We called ahead of time to ask if they took reservations, which they do not. However, the host told us they offer a shuttle service which gives you priority seating when you arrive. Bob picked us up promptly at the time we requested. He provided us with fabulous conversation and was very knowledgeable about the area, as well as the menu. He even had menus available for us to review on the way to the restaurant. When we arrived, our wait was less than 10 minutes. They had a beautiful outdoor area where, James, provided us with top notch service! He was very genuine and knowledgeable about the menu. We started with crab cakes and crab dip which was absolutely delectable! The atmosphere and service was all around fabulous. James and Bob truly made our experience one to remember. Highly recommended!”

“Lowe's Foods is one of my all time fav food stores to shop. They have the best hot bar! They're rotisserie chicken and chicken pot pies are phenomenal. Their fresh produce and fresh cut veggies and fruits are so handy and always delicious. I highly recommend this grocery store. Just wish they had a little more selection sometimes.”

“My friend and I showed up at 1:00 p.m. on an extremely busy Sunday this was by far the best experience I've ever had at a waffle house, as every member of the staff was on their A game, friendly, and the food was great. If you're in the greater Wilmington area and are looking for a waffle house to go to on a regular basis, I highly recommend this one.”

“This place is always good and has always been that way. I've been to all the locations many many times. Have been going to the original location in Hanover center since I was a child and you can always count on them to deliver what you expect. One of the most consistent restaurants I've ever been to. You can't ask for a better cheese steak and prices are affordable. You can get any kind of sandwich you want and many sides to choose from. Well known for their fried mushrooms. Service is spectacular and if you have a crowd who can't agree where to go J. Michael's good bet. After writing this review, I'll have to visit them tomorrow. Ten Stars.”

“Slainte on Carolina Beach Road is a treat. Lots of indoor seating and a nice patio area outside, the place is your typical Irish Pub...but the food is exceptional. This Shepherd's Pie was fantastic, ground beef, veggies and gravy covered in mashed potatoes and cheese...each bite was perfect. Friends had the cannonballs (deep fried loaded mashed potato balls) and fish and chips (gotta try with salt and vinegar, you'll never go back)...and both of those choices were spot on. Prices are very reasonable and I will go back soon. I rarely give 5 stars but this place is right about there.”

“Sausage egg and cheese was good except for the bagel I got an everything bagel with sausage egg and cheese and the bagel was a little on the stick side like it's been there for a hour on top of that what's the best thing that you want for the copper you know usually ketchup or mustard right will I like mustard in this case on the sausage egg and cheese add the mustard they gave me was so stiff I could barely get it out of the packet or schmear it when it came out of the package so the service and everything was good but what good is it when you don't have a good topping I've never seen mustard like that except for in my old school days and I'm 53 anyway good luck with that place I'm not going”

“It only took me 5min. to get back home with mine and my sons meals. Our food was still hot and we were able to enjoy it. Cook out is very good and they have so many sides to choose from. The line may wrap around their building, but don't let that deter you from waiting in it. The line moves quickly and is well worth the wait. Actually good things come to those that wait!!”
