“Great place on the boardwalk. Perfect for gelato after a walk. The dark chocolate was rich and full of cocoa flavor, not too sweet. Raspberry lemonade was tart but sweet. It was delicious and staff was extremely helpful and courteous. We will be back again.”

“I had a mixed greens salad to start. For dinner i had one of the best chicken sandwiches ever....it was a spicy chicken....not breaded spicy, but meat spicy...yum. it came with fries, which were not really cooked well but i enjoyed the sandwich.”

“My family and I went to Granny's for breakfast. While the building, itself, is small it is clean and homey. We arrived fairly early and were seated inside immediately, there is an additional dinning area outside. Granny's does get busy and at times there may be a brief wait for seating but I attribute this to it's popularity due to the great food they serve and their awesome staff. I would highly recommend Granny's. I will definitely be a repeat customer.”

“Hole in the wall place that served good food, big variety, big portions. Thoroughly enjoyed the southern fried veggies...okra and squash. “The Hide Tide lounge is on the North End of the island on the Carolina Beach Pier. They just finished the new tiki bar that’s included in my pictures. You can go to the third floor bar for some amazing views and visit Patty who’s the best bar tender in the area. The pier is still being rebuilt but you can go on it to the end. Even if you don’t want a beer or mixed drinks the views are amazing. You can sit in the sun or use the covered porch for shade.”

“This place is neat. It was raining when we went so there were no takers on the dog friendly patio (they’ll sell you a cheap ($1?) hot dog with a bowl of water for your furry kid) so I can see the appeal for dog owners. There’s not much seating inside (10 seats?) as the place itself is very small but the patio is decent size but mostly uncovered. The dogs ($3.25/ea)and fries were great. It appeared to me that you can order any dog on the menu and add as many other toppings as you’d like. I ordered the bacon dog and added chili and things at no additional cost. Kids meals ($4.75?) include drinks and are served on complimentary frisbees. Very tasty and pricing is reasonable”

“My six year old daughter and I ate here during our week long vacation and it was amazing. I highly suggest the tacos! The beef tacos are incredible and the lobster tacos are even more incredible. My daughter is not a seafood eater; however, they do have a kids menu. She enjoyed the chicken fingers with fries. The service was great! We will come back for sure!”

“A little Pricey, fried calamari, stuffed mushrooms, fried oysters, and their chicken dish with stuffed spinach was really good. The only thing we waited for 3hrs for all our food, waitress was really overwhelmed, and never checked on us too see if we needed any refills. Husband had to wait a good 40min for another beer.”

“Absolutely the best pizza I've ever had in a while. If you love thin crust with heaps of flavor, come here. The storefront isn't the most impressive sight but the food inside is absolutely fantastic. We had the Margarita Pizza and every bite was full of mouth watering spices and ingredients. It was ready and made to-order within minutes from scratch to my plate. Highly recommend any of their specialty pizzas, but they do have a "build-your-own-pizza" option, as well as pizza by the slice readily available.”

“We were visiting the boardwalk from out of town and wanted something different. We found Nollie's Taco Joint on Google and gave it a try. Super pleased with both the loaded beef and loaded chicken nachos. Better than I expected. The staff was super friendly and the unique decor made this place even cooler. The only downside was that there was literally no parking for this place. I parked next door at the gas station and snuck in for pick up. Well worth it. 2 thumbs up Nollie's!!”
