“Downtown Wilmington is so happy to have the only Acai shoppe in the area! I cannot wait to try each bowl. Cutest nautical vibe store, staff that goes the extra mile, delicious creations and wonderful ownership. Congrats on your GRAND OPENING!”

“Awesome location.....can't argue with that. Parking was challenging...Friday evening (thank goodness no concerts). Service was on point, margaritas were middle of the road, food the same. Love Los Portales and they mentioned this would be more authentic like that given their affiliation. California Mexican is hard to beat ....unless you're from Mexico. Again, beautiful location. Perhaps they are working out the kinks.”

“It's brunch time downtown. This is a black owned new delicious option. I enjoyed the not so classic shrimp and grits. They have kicked it up a notch. You will not be disappointed. This will be my new breakfast options. Several locals I met have already made it their neighborhood go-to.”

“We live nearby and always wanted to try the food truck on the corner but never saw it when we remembered actually remembered it. Finally got to go into the restaurant for the first time and man, a few bites in and we realized we found our new spot! The Mexican corn was beyond delicious! Full of flavor and juicy! The grilled chicken tacos were so fresh and so tasty with the chipotle ranch! We also got a chicken quesadilla with “the works”…which I think is almost everything they have on it. Absolutely to die for! The people in front of us ordered it and once we saw it we new we had to do the same since it looked amazing! Needless to say, we’ll be back! Thank you guys!!!”

“Stellar experience. Friendly staff, beautiful atmosphere, and delicious food! They are located on the Davis Community campus, but don’t let this confuse you - they are open to the public, and an awesome alternative to driving down Market Street for dinner. Do yourself a favor and give them a try!”

“Overall, the experience was good but a bit underwhelming. Food: Excellent four cheese truffle mac, but the steak was under-seasoned and lacked flavor. Carrot cake was delicious, bread was okay. Service: Slow, understandable as they just opened. The server was friendly. Birthday celebration wasn't acknowledged, which was disappointing given the steakhouse setting. Why ask when you make the reservation? Atmosphere: 5/5, great vibe with thoughtful decor. Would return for drinks for sure! Love Kipos so was a little bummed by this experience!”

“PrimoHoagies just opened up in Wilmington, North Carolina, and being a big fan of good food, I had to check it out. The place looked nice with its new building and tables, plus there were some special chairs outside that reminded me of where I’m from in Baltimore. The seating is very limited though. The restaurant comes from Philly, Pennsylvania, which is famous for Philly cheesesteaks, something I really like. So, I ordered one. At first glance, the cheesesteak looked great with all the usual stuff – tasty beef, mayo, onions, and cheese. But the roll it came on was a bit harder than what I’m used to. Some sesame seeds on top made it different too. Maybe it’s just me, but I prefer softer rolls for my cheesesteaks. The price was around $14 and more, which felt okay considering what you get. It’s cool to have another place for cheesesteaks in town. Next time, I’ll try different sandwiches they have. Overall, I totally suggest this place and I’d say it’s like a 4 out of 5 stars.”

“I mean who can go wrong with clean mall Chinese food! This always hits the spot, I find that with the price of Chinese food from restaurants around here hiking up pretty high - and the leftovers not keeping well. I find the Pei Wei's price is perfect for the amount of food they give you it is good every single bite, from the fried rice, to the noodles, to the choices of meat. All good, they have the consistency that local spots lack.”

“We really enjoyed our meal here. The building and decor are beautiful but it did get loud inside as it got more crowded. The food was outstanding. We loved everything we ordered. I do think the service could be a tad better. When we had questions about the menu our server simply read the menu description back to use. She forgot which appetizers we ordered and when we were finished she suggested for next time one we’d just finished. We took home most of the ribeye entree and were disappointed that the sauce that came with the ribeye, of which there was some left, was not included with our to-go box.”

“I think the place is brand new. The hot dogs were loaded but I think they could upgrade the actual dog quality and they would be unbeatable. They also have shakes that looked pretty good.”

“In a time where everyone seems to be cutting back and charging more, it's so nice to experience a place that is not doing that, in fact they are doing the exact opposite! After missing this place for a few months now, I finally made an attempt to order my all time favorite dish, Shrimp Pad Thai! Holy Cow Batman, this was off the chain delicious! Everyone thinks they can make Pad Thai, but only a few succeed and they do and then some. All the ingredients were fresh and every attention to detail was there, not just putting hot sauce on some noodles, (like most places), I was in heaven with each and every bit down to the crumbs at the end. I used my out of this world Spring Roll to soak up any remaining juices left at the bottom of the bowl. My wife got the Chicken Pad Thai and she was just as impressed! I would have gotten the Basil Fresh Rolls, but after using the rice paper for my horror movie, "Do No Harm," she refuses to eat anything using rice paper. (That's another story!) To get something that we could both eat and enjoy I opted for the Spring Rolls and once again they did not disappoint! The rolls themselves were delicious, but the sauce was in a class all by itself's. It was both hot and sweet, the perfect combo, but wait there is more! As I waited for my To-Go order I was offered some complimentary Egg Drop Soup and it was soooo good! If that was not enough, she offered to give me more to take home to my wife! Are you kidding me? These folks know how to treat people and give you so much bang for your buck! All I've been thinking about today is going back to try something else! It's not often I find a place that I think about the next day after eating there, this is so great, because they are so close to where I live and not having much Vegan options in Wilmington for me, this is a place made just for me! I can't wait to try all their many options on the menu. As always I end my reviews with "what would I play for these folks?" Well, my entire catalog! They had me at Kapow Thai when I walked into the door. I would like to recommend a favorite of mine that I could hear playing over the speakers while I might dine inside, it's from my album, "When Words Aren't Enough," Take the Time. I think that song captures the vibe of the wonderful place that I will not call my favorite place in Wilmington! Please do yourself a favor and go there soon!”

“If you're in Wrightsville Beach you have to check out Watermans! They have great beers and absolutely amazing food. Enjoy both al fresco on their massive deck area or beer garden. Our server was TJ and he was fantastic. Made some great recommendations and was very attentive. Pet friendly for outside seating.”

“Had an incredible experience dining here last Saturday. It is definitely a very happening place with a lot of great energy (loud and crowded). I absolutely loved the indoor/outdoor vibe with the huge sliding doors open to their patio (very California feel). The patio was the perfect place. We shared many dishes, my favorite having to be the cauliflower. Before anyone turns their nose up, this cauliflower was so perfectly grilled and executed with thoughtful flavors that paired beautifully. I loved my flounder entree! Beautiful presentation and textures. I cleaned my plate. The service was incredible and wow we were floored by the extensive wine menu. We had the pleasure of chatting with their sommelier Heidi, who is kind, engaging and very knowledgeable. We are Old World wine enthusiasts so it was great conversation. It's a beautiful restaurant, the attention to detail noticeable. Shout out to the bathrooms! Part lounge, part library with huge floor mirrors. It was a vibe. Looking forward to coming back!”

“Great tasting poke bowls and rolls with options to customize around protein and style you want. Selection of alcoholic and nonalcoholic brews to pair with your food. Delicious food in a cool fast-casual setting. Had a great lunch experience here after a hot summer walk exploring Wilmington.”

“This is the place for a true Maine lobster roll and more like peanut butter and fluff sandwiches and Moxie soda. The service is excellent! Did I mention the lobster rolls? Perfection. I am not sure if you noticed when placing your order, but they have a 100% rating for cleanliness. Stop in. It is worth the trip.”
