“They have such a wide variety of donuts here! So if you want a unique donut, then this is the place to visit. When I got there they had 2 different kinds of gluten free donuts left, a cappuccino and a glazed. They both tasted wonderful, but the texture wasn't like a normal donut (which wasn't surprising considering it is gluten free). The worker was super friendly too!”

“Had a lovely dinner here last night. Several seating options: outside on the deck, inside a screened porch area, or inside in the air conditioning, so really something for everyone. No matter which you pick there are amazing views of the river and sunset!! All the staff were super friendly. Menu is simple with a focus on fresh seafood. I enjoyed the flounder basket which was super crispy and very flavorful. Husband enjoyed the grilled shrimp salad—was glad to try to comeback sauce as his salad dressing. Nice to walk around on the lawn and dock after eating. Can’t wait to come back.”

“I had heard that this new pizza place opened and that it was the most like New Jersey pizza and you wanted found around here. Having grown up at the Jersey shore every summer I love Mac's Pizza, on the boardwalk, so I couldn't wait to give it a try. I'm excited to say they were right! It was the best pizza I've had since I moved here, I asked for a large, with extra cheese and I told whoever answered the phone that I would like it not overcooked. Sometimes it's so overcooked can't even eat it. But he promised he was the one that was going to make it and that it would be perfect. The pizza arrived less than 20 minutes later and it was the cheesiest pizza I've ever had and it was hot, hot hot! It had driven 20 minutes from their little store down on Carolina Beach Road and it was piping hot. I can tell you how many times I order food from somewhere and it's definitely not even warm. This was the best pizza experience I could have asked for. I ordered it a little early like after 4:00 and so maybe traffic was good, maybe they weren't behind because it was just starting to be towards dinner time, but I was pleased with everything. I hope you give them a try. I know I'll be back, and I'm going to order the exact same thing. Enjoy”

“My wife and I stopped by to check it out, had a few ice cold beers. We hit up Lobster Dogs food truck while we were there, the lobster rolls were so good it would make you slap your entire family. This place is very cool both inside and out. The Staff was weapons grade perfect, great new spot for Dead Crow/Lush. This place is perfect for hanging out before and after comedy shows , and like we discovered is also good for cold beers, a few laughs, and just hanging out.”

We sat at the bar before sitting down at our table for diner, the bartenders Danny and Chris were hilarious and made an excellent Manhattan. Our server suggested the pork chop and and grouper. “First time in and this was some of the best pizza I’ve ever had! The crust was crispy and thin, but soft with a good amount of chewy. Love the sauce and the toppings were top shelf. Definitely put the spicy olive oil on your pizza. The owner and staff were fantastic and friendly and we even got to meet their dog, Luna! We will absolutely be back and I recommend if you haven’t checked this place out, you need to!!”

“We have been looking for a restaurant who serves delicious Pho Soup that equals our favorite restaurant in VA since moving to NC. Last evening we tried Pho Vanhly with hopes this might be it. We were not disappointed! We started with their spring rolls, delish! I then had the Chicken Pho Soup, I must admit I was a little concerned of trying due to a previous review stating it was bland and flavorless. I’m very happy to report that was NOT the case at all for me! It was the soup flavor I’ve been search for for the last 9 years we’ve lived here and in this state! My husband had his normal Beef Pho and was equally impressed! Our only minor complaint was it didn’t have any noticeable onions in it or lime wedges along with the basil, bean sprouts, etc for adding to the soup. But no worries our sweet, attentive server brought both to us when we requested them. We have finally found our favorite Pho Soup restaurant in Porters Neck, just down the road from our home!”
