“Simply put the best restaurant I have ever been to. Everything there is amazing. The menu might have some entires that seem off putting originally (like potatoes on a pizza) but trust me, everything is there for a reason. Much thought goes into everything there and I have never been disappointed. The rotating menu and frequent specials make for a restaurant that is amazing to revisit even for the adventurous types. I can sing praises all day but the bottom line is that the food is amazing and so is the staff. I am proud to be a frequent customer. The only thing that might disappoint people are the portion sizes for the price. While they may be on the smaller side for the price: all the food is sourced locally, the staff needs to be able to eat too, and the food I get is amazing.”

I ended up driving there and got a wonderful pepperoni pizza. “Amazing food and nice staff, they take the time to get to know you. We have become regulars because of the wonderful treatment they have given us and the delicious food they cook. Their spicy seasoning mix is amazing just be careful with the spicy level you choose. The chicken corn soup for two feeds the soul(and if you ask nicely you can get a container of their spicy seasoning, added to the soup is just otherworldly good)”

“I rate four stars for the following reasons: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ for Value. You get what you pay for. Personally, I will go elsewhere and pay a premium for premium ingredients; ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ for Service. I got carry out and the cashier was attentive and helpful; ⭐⭐ for Fish Quality. Most other poke places have chunks of tuna. Hibachi Poke has an inferior mush of very finely minced fish. A tad unappetizing; ⭐⭐ for Presentation. The signature bowls are a bit bland in color. The "romaine" looked more like iceberg. Other poke places have more diverse ingredients which amps up the presentation; ⭐⭐⭐⭐ for Rice Quality. The rice is perfectly polished. Wonderful texture. Some other places just serve steamed rice.”

Doesn't appear to be much but once you go inside you'll see that there's so many things for purchase and the food is absolutely tasty. The cashiers and the wait are very very nice. “Great place! Not only are the steaks delicious, but I can’t think of a better ‘off the beaten path’ restaurant with a ton of old time feel. Tucked away in between Durham and Chapel Hill, but the country roads leading you to the restaurant make you feel hundreds of miles from the closest city. Super friendly staff that explained some of the unique 50 year history made it more special.”
