“Thank god Chapel Hill finally got a ramen restaurant in town! So excited to have a try. Very good first experience!the restaurant looks like a pirate theme style which immediately caught my eyes. The environment was very clean and the decorations are really cute! I ordered a tonkatsu ramen and a pork belly bun. 11/10! Broth was really flavorful and the bun is so juicy. Just amazing! Btw, the staffs were very nice and courteous! And the price you can’t beat! I will take a try for the seafood combo next time, Can’t wait to come back! Xx”

“I ate lunch here with my grandmother while she was visiting and we enjoyed it very much. The staff answered all our questions about the menu and gave excellent recommendations. I had the french toast (all day breakfast!!) and it was delicious. It came with a cute glass bottle of maple syrup which they said I could keep. The best part is that they pay their staff above a living wage so they don’t have to rely on tips. They have designated a couple of dishes on the menu to donate all of the proceeds from those items to specific local non-profits which I thought was a neat idea. I was sad when Elmo’s closed but I am pleased to find that Grata Cafe is an excellent successor to that legacy. I will be returning!”

“Great new restaurant! Excellent food with a charming, beautiful setting! We went opening night and ordered a delicious mix of vegetarian dishes (Insalata mista, burrata, ricotta ravioli, side of potatoes and broccoli). All dishes from start to finish were tasty and beautifully plated. The bread and spread were a great meal starter. Mixed drinks were good, as was dessert. Service was well done, particularly for a first day open. Outdoor garden seating was plentiful and beautiful. The indoor ambiance was nice as well, with charming decor. We will certainly return and look forward to future meals here!”

“I'm super conscientious about my food -- and also always trying to get healthy food on the table for my family every night -- and Goodness Cooks has been a game-changer for me. I order 5-7 dishes, and use each of the delicious components to fill out multiple meals for the entire week. The fact that they use super fresh, seasonal ingredients, healthy fats, low salt & sugar, makes it feel like it's something I would cook for myself, if I had the time & skill & imagination. The exciting, original dishes make me feel nourished and satisfied -- and not at all heavy like restaurant take-out can feel. Add to all that the fact that they support local farmers, have an eco-program to reduce waste & are part of the amazing Dogwood market, and I couldn't be happier to have them in my refrigerator.”

Do yourself a favor and get those hot honey carrots. Kale Caesar, finally a true anchovy Caesar dressing! Couldn’t decided on one dessert, so we ordered three!!! Brett and Rosie truly a dynamic duo in bar. Doing all the things! No Yoga today was just what I needed, along with the small batch gin and tonic and for good measure clean crisp COLD martini! They have a beautiful area where you can purchase beer and wine to go, so many cool selections! We will be regulars for sure!”

“This is a delightful addition to Efland. Authentic chicken or steak tacos, burritos, and gorditas. Their charros beans are excellent! They have spicy avocado salsa, spicy green salsa, and hot sauce with fresh chips. All homemade tortillas as well. Staff were friendly and attentive, even gave chips while waiting for to-go order. It does have outdoor and indoor seating (indoor closed during Covid), while small in size, packs a punch with delicious food. Worth a visit, will definitely make this a regular stop.”
