“A reason to leave Wilmington! Took a trip up I-40 with the family to try out Fat Daddy's Pizza and was genuinely impressed with the meal. The garlic knots were perfect. At too many other restaurants they are over-cooked, but Fat Daddy's nailed it. The pizza was delicious, I really enjoyed the sauce, but the blueberry knots. . . a stroke of genius. I'm excited to try the sugar knots now. Will definitely head back in the near future to try some of the other items on their menu.”

“Fantastic little bar/music spot just across the street from the beach in Surf City. They have a good mix of craft beers on tap & in cans/bottles. What makes it so special? The owner is clearly a music lover & has a stage set up with multiple guitars, a keyboard, super cool drum pad, etc that is an anytime/all the time open mic jam venue. We discovered this gem of a place late one evening while on vacation with my relatives from England. We all rediscovered our musical talents & ended up playing & singing until they closed. The friendly owner behind the bar is the happiest guitarist on the stage. I most definitely recommend The Second Row to anyone in the near. You'll have a great beer & a great show!”

“We had a great experience. We had to wait about 45 minutes for a table...I'm not typically a "waiter" but decided we would. The app they use let us know exactly where we were in line and how long we'd been waiting, which allowed us to kill some ti.e on the pier! Service was good, he was busy, but did a good job. The crab cake was outstanding!!! The other 3 meals we excellent as well. And we finished with Mississippi Mud Pie which was decadent! We have a new favorite on the island! Dining outside was beautiful at sunset. Couldn't have been better!”

I respect the cook to order however, I feel like they could come up with some solutions to get food out quicker to their customers. “We ate at Beauchaines on a Monday night and the place was full even then, so we knew it was going to be a great meal. Appetizers – We got the Steak Fondue (can’t remember if that was even on the menu but ask for it) which came out with the most amazing blue cheese sauce I have ever had. It was that amazing. The manager Drew was outstanding in his service, conversation and attentiveness to our party of five. My girlfriend and I split the surf and turf and it was outstanding as well. I am a bit of a foodie and can tell you that the chef at Beauchaines is out of this world phenomenal. The views were spectacular, the service is great, and the food cannot be beat anywhere. Love this place and will be going back each and every time I’m in the area. Absolutely spectacular.”
