I am fortunate enough to call him a friend and was fortunate enough to be invited to the soft opening and dine with my family on friends on the very first night Spazio opened. Truly it was a magnificent meal and lived up to Chef Paolo's high standards. When a dining experience is this good on the very first night, I know that Spazio will flourish and delight diners for years to come.”

“The location and building were really pretty! I am a huge coffee drinker, and I personally wasn’t really impressed with the latte. The waffles were really good, but not worth $10. Overall, it was a decent experience. There were some kids sitting near us that stared at us the entire time, and it was kind of uncomfortable. Other than that, an okay experience. Lot of potential for this place!”

“We were so excited for this place to open, but we’re sort of bummed— maybe today was just an off day. The tea was good but the pork was very fatty. Once they work out the kinks it will be better. A few gentle suggestions: -tell servers to lead with what’s unavailable on the menu right now because everything we ordered including soda was unavailable. Not a huge deal since obviously the entire world is dealing with supply chain issues. I just think it would have been better managed if the server lead with what isn’t available so he didn’t have to keep saying “that isn’t available” each time we picked something different. -it’s very uncomfortable for guests to ring up at the table with the server asking questions like “would you like to leave a tip? If so how much?”— give guests an option to do all of that privately & then come back to the table. We tip 20% no matter what, but it was still awkward. We will try again in a few months. Every restaurant needs time to find their groove.”

“What a gem! We live 15 minutes away and hadn't visited this cozy wine bar until now. We felt so lucky to be there on this random Tuesday, happening upon an open mic night with the place decked out in festive Halloween decorations. Everyone there seemed very at home and every person was treated with kindness and respect. The bartender Anthony was extremely knowledgeable and attentive. The atmosphere was intimate and unpretentious and it's the kind of place we'll definitely want to go back to again and again.”

“This was one of the best experiences I've ever had with an establishment, whether you're going in for just a lunch, coffee, or an intimate dinner this is the place to go. The head chef Tim really knows what he's doing and makes the best sandwiches in town. The platters and coffee are exquisite. Even with the loss of their very nice espresso machine they still produce the best drinks I've ever had it's honestly a work of magic. The owner Sarah is also an internationally known beverage expert from coffee to wine to craft beer, she has been asked to write multiple times in international magazines giving her opinions and advice to the world, she is a certified hospitality beverage expert and sommelie. I really can't say enough for this place. I've worked in retail my whole life and this is hands down the best establishment I've ever been to. If you want somewhere to eat this is hands down the best place to go and I will be returning on multiple occasions to dine again.”

“I love Pimento Tea room! The staff is friendly and the owner is well involved. I enjoy the atmosphere. The character silhouettes above the stairs are hilarious. I always feel like the staff goes over and beyond when serving you. They want you to have a great experience. I see only two areas that need improved. The first is when you come in, there needs to be a better host system. People need to know where to check in or at least need to be acknowledged when they arrive. Second, I have a serious sweet tooth and the treats are even a bit too sweet for me. I really look forward to my next visit.”

“This place is a breath of fresh air. I grew up on long island NY and often miss the foods from my childhood. I've tried A LOT of places here in north North Carolina and I must say that this place gets close. Their garlic knots are by far the best I've had down here. Other places use butter and very rarely use oil on them. This place uses the right amount of oil and even garnished it with fresh oregano. The only complaint I have is that I wish the cheese on their pizza was a bit better and it wasn't all to hot when it got to my house. Still, I will be purchasing from here many times in the future.”

“Amazingly fresh good AND the portions are very large. I had the burger with fresh veggies for on a brioche bun. I'm told that most items are made fresh daily. I also got a bite of my husband's order of blackened salmon tacos. They were delicious and served with a side of vinegar based coleslaw made fresh and sweet. HUGE selection of micro-brews. We will be back!!!!”
