“Gorgeous and unique coffee shop. This spot is a peaceful, restful location to sip on a cup of coffee, tea, or sake. Many tables with power outlets make it friendly to set up shop for a few hours if you need to work remotely. They serve Counter Culture Coffee and have well trained staff nailing your espresso beverage of choice every time! Conveniently located in the warehouse district, it is in walking distance of many other great spots in Raleigh. I also ordered batch coffee for a team meeting. The owner was easy to work with and even delivered and picked up the coffee carafes.”

“Everything was so delicious, my teen and I kept saying repeatedly, "This should be illegal it's so good!". Everything was amazing, including the service by the waitstaff and the social distancing implementation. Classy exterior, cozy interior. We highly recommend - well, everything! Every single tapa we tried (and we tried MANY) was amazing! The vegetable paella and the assorted meats were our main courses, also spectacular.”

“We love going going to Wye Hill. Their patio is the best in Raleigh! They have a misting system for the hot days of summer and it has the best view of downtown Raleigh. They have a wide variety of drinks and cocktails and their food is always fresh, original and delicious. Service is excellent and we felt safe dining outdoors. The servers were masked and attentive to the social distancing rules.”

“Starbucks baristas can turn a simple breakfast run into the highlight of my day, incredibly easily. Early-morning wholesomeness? Great food and drink? Fair prices? All of the above.”

“Starbucks located in the middle of the shopping complex. Quite small compared to other locations, but there is seating for around 15 people. It’s a nice view to the central shopping area. The customer service is good and speed average in delivering drinks. The bakery area was fully stocked which is a plus for such a busy area. If this location is packed, there is another starbucks in target and across the street.”

“I’ve never stepped foot inside myself before today as my dad and uncle would pick up lunch for us at work years ago and bring it back to the shop but I’m glad I stopped in on a whim today while taking Hillsborough Street back towards downtown. This place was packed and for good reason. I’m stoked about my sub-$7.00 lunch served with a bit of nostalgia.”

“This location has been open for almost 3 weeks, there seems to be a lack of knowledge within management when it comes to ordering supplies and keeping staff in line. For the third time that I am aware of this location has been out of coffee plus half and half...I could be wrong but shouldn’t there be coffee along with half and half constantly at Panera ??? A wonderful young lady named Vicky kindly apologized and suggested other options that were actually available. Let’s get it together management.”

“I went here for a sweet treat and plus I had a $3 off reward. Walked in was greeted and ordered right away. I decided to go with the 20 oz vegan mango kale smoothie. The smoothie itself was good and I enjoy coming to this location it’s always quick and the service is nice.”

“Everything was very good, and the order came on time - I just wish I was given what I ordered. Or maybe the Tandoori Shrimp is supposed to be cooked in a tomato based sauce with bell peppers and onions and look and taste exactly like shrimp vindaloo...instead of grilled, charred red and spicy...too bad would have given 5 stars.”

“We'very been getting pizza from this location for almost 3 years now and they are always friendly with my young children as well me. “This was a great spot to relax, even though I wasn't staying at the hotel. Good drinks, friendly staff, great dessert! It's a good place to rest for awhile and look out over the city. It's a tad confusing to get into/out of because of the elevators but the staff will help.”

“Layton's catered my wedding yesterday, and they did fantastic. The food was very well received by all. We've seen lots of positive reviews about their barbecue but went a different route with the Lemon Peppered Grilled Chicken, Roast Beef, and Veggie Lasagna, and all was great. The staff was wonderfully helpful, attentive, and communicative. The price was also very fair.”

“Very attentive staff, they greet you as soon as you sit down. Prices were excellent. Food and drink options were good especially for such a small place. It's like a diner in a way that's also a bar. A little old/dirty but that's kind of the charm of it with it being a smaller, local, simple, long-time option for downtown. Definitely recommend it if you have a smaller group or for two. Good hours too, open lunch till midnight every day (till 9pm Sundays). Oh and we had live music when we went on Friday nights. Which was nice, a little loud, but the type of music was chill enough where it didn't ruin the experience.”

“Excellent food my mouth is too full to talk. One of the best little surprises around. It's right in the heart of downtown Raleigh. After you order everything is self service. This place sells real food real quick. Not the typical gimmicky things that you will find at a restaurant inside a museum.”

“Beautiful and open, albeit loud, space. The menu was varied and interesting, with lots of options for the vegetarians as well as the meat eaters. Loved the pearl couscous and the ribs. Liked the diverse wine list. The key lime mousse for dessert was lovely. A nice treat if you’re in the area.”

“Just okay because for what you get, the prices are reasonable and it is convenient. If you want something better, go somewhere else. Three of the last four times that I have been to this location, something has been wrong with my order (even when I placed it online).”

“I visited Carroll’s Kitchen for lunch at the Morgan Street Food Hall & Market. My food from Carroll’s Kitchen was outstanding! There are plenty of options depending on what you’re craving. Even for a vegetarian like myself. They also have vegan, dairy free, and gluten free options as well. The menu has wraps, salads, sandwiches, and much more. They also have some amazing desserts if you happen to have room after a hearty meal. More importantly, this is all for an outstanding cause. Highly recommend this vendor at the food hall!”

“I'm glad this place is still going strong after all these years. I love the "diner classics menu" but I wish they still served breakfast all day. Now they just serve breakfast for Sunday brunch. Under new owners, they now have evening hours, & serve alcohol. Prices have gone up. $25 is too much for a diner lunch for 2!”
