“The staff is always in great spirits. Management must be great, since that usually determines the mood of the employees. Almost always great food! The salads are good but sometimes taste dirty. Otherwise, I would have given 5 stars! Will eat here again.”

“We love going here. The food is tasty and most of the staff is very friendly. I wish they would change up the menu maybe once a week or so with a 'special of the week'...something different. Other places have steamed clams and pizza, crawdads, etc. Othrrwise, this is a great place to go for a family that loves different foods.”

“This is one of the best Bojangle's I have ever been to. It's always very clean - even the bathrooms - and the service is stellar. Everyone is so nice and Ms. Peggy is an absolute wonder! She's genuinely caring and does her best to make you feel worthy no matter what. Definitely give this a try - the food is always good too!”

“Nice addition to Boone and their products are consistently good. Staff is well trained and most are very sweet and accommodating. No matter what little teak i request on my order, they are happy to help. Smiling faces must be a requirement in the interview process. My only issue is cleanliness of the booths. The seats and backs need replacing as it seems the food stains are too deep to clean surface wise.”

“This is inside the Boone mall. We went there to try it out because it has mozzarella sticks. The mozzarella sticks we're delicious, best I have had in Boone so far. The burger we're fine, nothing amazing. The gyro was very good, and they have crinkle cut fries which were enjoyable. The restaurant is small and a little dark, but the service was good and prices were pretty fair. Definitely check it out if you are looking for some affordable casual sit down dining with some classic American style food.”

“This place is amazing, one of our favorite date night spots. Great vibe, incredible food (shrimp and grits and Brussels sprouts are absolutely phenomenal) good cocktail list and the service is excellent. I also love that there’s usually a good 90s playlist on the go. Eleven80 is a total gem in Boone. I can’t recommend it enough!”

“Food was very good. Steaks cooked well. Salad was fresh. I did take off one star due to service that was lacking. No drink refills even after we asked twice.”

“Which Wich is one of my favorite sandwich places. Their format has you write what you want on a sandwich bag, and then they make it from those instructions. Their chicken is very good. I love the house chips, and the whole brand of which Wich is fun and chill. The workers are great and helpful, and always make you feel welcome and comfortable. Love this place, check it out if you are looking for above average oven baked sandwiches for a decent price.”

“We passed this diner on our way to the hotel after a long day on the Blue Ridge Parkway. We asked the guy at the hotel about this place and he said he eats there regularly. We were not disappointed with the recommendation. The food was delicious, home cooked food that wasn't expensive served by a very friendly and efficient guy. If I lived here I'd visit regularly. Much better than going to a restaurant chain as there was a personal touch and a homely feel. The milkshakes are amazing as were the dill pickle chips. The home made meatloaf and gravy was delicious. A brilliant experience set in a 1950s style diner. My best dining experience I've had in the USA.”

“Enjoyed our first visit last night. Great bread assortment and oil/balsamic to start. Wine was good and both of our seafood pasta entrees were delicious with well made pasta, plus consistency and flavor of sauce. Relaxed, comfortable atmosphere. Will definitely return.”

“I've been here twice now. The first time I ordered a brisket burger (if memory serves), which was decent. The flavors were good, but the brisket was just slightly dry. The burger itself was good, and the french fries were quite good, but had a distinctive vegetable oil flavor. The portions are more than ample. For my second visit the brisket burger was gone from the menu, so I ordered a pulled pork burger. The pulled pork was quite a bit better than what I remembered of the brisket. it was actually quite good. But I had asked for my burger to be done medium and it came back on the opposite side of well. To be honest, if you're after a burger, Five Guys is probably better, though a little more expensive. If you want BBQ, the pulled pork is decent. The fries also seem to be consistently good.”

“Service was quick and friendly. The pancakes are really good. The only thing I did wish was for turkey options for bacon or sausage substitute. The restaurant does fill up with people rather quickly on the weekends! Highly recommend for breakfast!”

“Stopped in on Saturday to eat a Bison burger at the Cardinal. We did not wait long to sit, or get our food. Drinks never ran out. Service was exceptional. Food awesome....did I say food was awesome?! Dad is a Navy Korean war veteran. He always says he was proud to serve his country (1084 LST) in the 50's. The waiter, and one of the owners came over and thanked dad for his service and stated dads tab had been covered. Dad was moved beyond words that someone acknowledged him for what he said he did for us. I cannot say enough about the Cardinal restaurants service and food. Please go visit them. We WILL be back and recommend them for a meal that can't be beat. Thank you Cardinal.”

“Spicy chicken the best. But the rice and beans are inconsistent in their texture. Either perfectly cooked or are too hard”

“Food is good, Service is good, they have a nice salad bar, but the restaurant is dimly lighted, it feels dark. Its hard to read the menu. The restaurant is a locals favorite. The seating is tight, seats are hard and the place is noisey. It's located in a good area, next to Harris Teeter, so they have plenty of parking. In particular, I enjoy their fried catfish platter, and their home made carrot cake.”

“The food was excellent and so was the service. I honestly can't say enough about this restaurant. You don't have to order very spicy food in order to enjoy. They will adjust the spice to your taste. If you like good food and experiencing new tastes and different tastes you will love this place like I do.”
