“Great find in the small downtown area. Staff was super friendly, and lunch food was delicious. We had the hummus with pita and the pizza. Both were fresh and delicious with big portions. “Food is great for an average pizza & wings. I would give 4 stars on the food. The service, however, is lacking significantly. Last night we were sat in a booth and waited fifteen minutes before even anyone came to acknowledge us. At that time our waitress took our drink and food order. We waited for our drinks for a while. Waitress seemed to forget but continued greeting another table and talking to them, still no drinks. Our food came and we asked for our drinks (for the second time) "okay" said the waitress. Didnt come back to our table until 3/4 of our meal was eaten, then we had to remind her again about the drinks. She finally brought them after that and didn't offer an apology, just a "here." We couldn't flag anyone else down to get our drinks, nor should we have. Pitiful service, decent food.”

“I've not been here in a couple years (2015 or '16). Last time I was here the food and service was excellent and the prices were unbelievably great, considering the amount and quality of the food I received. I was in the area and decided to try it again. Let me tell you, they did not disappoint me this time either. Great food, excellent service and outstanding prices. I easily get burned out on rice so this time I ordered Shrimp Lo Mein and it was phenomenal. It amazes me how such a simple dish can be bursting with such great flavor. The server never missed a beat. My drink glass never got below half-empty. My order was delivered to me the very instant it came from the kitchen, so my food was steaming hot and fresh. Can't wait until I'm back in town so I can come in again. Thank you, Fuji Express, for making your customers your priority. You don't find that very often, anymore. Until the next visit, I highly recommend you give them a try. Excellent food and it's very affordable, too.”

Pretty average, the sandwich was worth the cost all in all but the restaurant could do for some updating and I'd love to see some seasoned onion rings added to the menu as a side. The bun could use some improvement but all in all it was a good barbecue sandwich. We will most likely be back. The range for four stars is 60-84 on my scale so this place arrives just short of a four star rating. Hopefully my next trip earns them the extra point!”

“Where’s the beef? As I ate my lunch at Don’s Char-Grill, I found myself quoting that iconic line from the classic 1984 Wendy’s commercial. And it is unfortunate, because this could have been a 4 star review. Let me explain. Before I get to the food, let me say that the price was good. The floor, however, was FILTHY. The staff at the counter was only marginally friendly, which is interesting because the establishment is unabashedly Christian. Now for the food. The food was actually really tasty. The fries were good, the onion rings were excellent—fresh, delicious, and not greasy, the burger toppings were really fresh and crisp, and the burger had a great charred flavor—true to the name of the restaurant. But the patty was Way. Too. Small. The excellent flavor was completely lost in the gigantic sesame seed bun. So I found myself longing for more of that flavor...and saying “where’s the beef?””

“Very friendly staff. I travel all over NC for my job and this is the first Subway that I ate at that asked me if I would like a rewards card. The young lady sandwich artist showed me the cards and I actually signed up for one. I eat at Subway Restaurants regularly and several employees at other stores have asked me if I have a rewards card but they have never asked me if I would like to sign up for one. I also liked the fact that this location hot what I call the hot relish as well. Not many of the stores offer this topping but I truly enjoy it. KUDOS!”
