“The food was absolutely phenomenal. The menu at this point is limited, as the restaurant has only just opened. We had a lovely lunch of chicken, beef stew, rice, salad and the best beans! We were treated by the owner to a sample of the yucca and the fresh squeezed orange juice. Yucca was delicious, as was the juice. So fresh!! Don't need fries..will stick with the yucca from now on.”

“I tried VIP chicken and fish for the 1st time. It's new to the neighborhood. I started to pass on this, but the gentleman that answered Ithe phone quickly recognized that I was a new customer, and was accomodating, so I got catfish nuggets and greens. The catfish was good, but the greens did not have flavor. I have noticed that many of these soulfood restaurants around here are serving greens that looks and tastes like it came from the can lately. The other thing is that the only side that comes with the meals is French fries. I think there should be other side options available, and vegan options for the meal choices.”

“I went to Brothers because I had several people recommend this place and I seen a lot about this place on Instagram. It is one of the few places I have been that has lived up to the hype! The honey wings are what I heard the most positive things about, and I have to say they were excellent! I also tried the lemon pepper because I was told those were also great, and great was an understatement. The wings at this place are full of flavor, perfectly crispy, and juicy. Not many restaurants can make crispy chicken wings that aren't dry, and Brothers got it right! The fry seasoning is well balanced in flavor and salt, and exactly what crinkle fries need. I also tried the Perch and Whiting, I have to say they were just as good as the chicken minus the sauce. Brothers offers great portion sizes, great prices, flavorful food, and welcoming service. I highly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys good wings, soul food, or GameDay foods.”

“Shelby was my server and she was absolutely amazing! The ambiance was very nice, and I can't wait to go back at night to see it lit up. For parking, it's either on the street, valet, or the closing parking we chose was behind Victoria Secret. I highly recommend this establishment! Lastly, for them to be only open a week, the food came out in a decent amount of time and was so delicious! Brunch is served until 4pm and Dinner menu there after.”

“The food is on point! Service was fast too. We had the short rib and brangus meal. The beef was incredibly flavorful and tender. The smoked fish was fried to perfection. I hope the Filipino community can come out to support. My feedback is to see more Filipino “flavor” in the atmosphere. It’s such a vibrant culture but the building as it stands is plain. The specials menu needs descriptions next to each dish but the owner is kind and will take the time to describe each traditional dish for you. I bet you can’t go wrong with any special dish or lunch/dinner meal.”

A bit different than traditional authentic, but a nice culinary take on enhancing a few pieces such as the corn tortilla was higher quality than any truck taco, and the onion was grilled rather than fresh. Not my favorite this way, but I really enjoyed it today as it was a nice change that tasted amazing! Then they substituted the lime wedges with a lemon wedge. But I still love my raw fresh onion and cilantro with limes better. However, this will be a new favorite taco spot of mine especially when I want a nice change from the norm! Muchas Gracias!”

“Being new I have bee considerate. The seating and wait was immediate. Not as attentive to drinks/chips refill as should be. Sat outside, the speaker is sorta loud but not too bothersome. It’s distracting from traffic on Granville. Happy hour margarita is tasty frozen and on the rocks. Barbacoa burrito is recommended but be careful not to burn your mouth - add sour cream it’s amazing. Hawaiian fajitas are tasty but the ratio between meat and the other junk could be improved but still worth the try, the junk is good. Service is friendly and professional, just a weird atmosphere on Saturday at 4:30. Maybe just with the inbetweeners 😂”

“Pastor torta was really amazing. I've had a handful of other tortas around town and this one certainly competes if not rises above most. The pastor was grilled nicely and had a nice char on it. The quality of the bun was outstanding and nicely grilled, good crunch on the outside and soft on the inside. I also got an adobada burrito which was also great, a little runny/drippy/messy, but great flavors going on. The torta was the star of the show for me though. I also got chips and salsa. The salsa was fantastic, had a nice heat and nice flavors, fresh cilantro. It tasted fresh. Some of the chips were a little tough, I'm not sure if this happened during time I picked up the food to the time I got home, but not a big enough deal to me for it to effect the overall rating. Price-wise, it's a bit on the pricier side, so I would like to see everything come down a little. Overall fantastic, will be back!”
