“The staff were all so warm and welcoming and friendly. They were very knowledgeable and helpful when ordering. You have to save room for desserts if you go there; everything except for one thing is a house speciality and their house-made whipped cream is amazing. They were also very sweet to my little one. Some places who don't have a lot of kids coming to their location can be kind of aloof or cold towards them but they were so sweet and thoughtful. Highly recommend them!”

“Good food. Thursday night is spaghetti night for $4 or $5 and it is good. Pizza is also good.they have huge rice crispy treats and they are yummy. Has several poke gyms and an ex raid location nearby. Also several poke stops. Large seating area and bar in the back. Not expensive. Has a good atmosphere and they have live music occasionally. Outside seating area as well.”

“This is a recently open restaurant. It serves typical food from northern Mexico. My favorite dishes are all the ones that include seafood. I took my wife for dinner and she does not tolerate spicy food. I was able to ask them to put the space on the side and she loved it. The prices are very very decent. I’ve already come back twice. They are very friendly and really wanting to accommodate the best service to their customers they can. It gets four stars because when you pay there’s a two dollar charge if you’re using a credit card. Bring cash if you don’t want to spend two dollars or just pay them.”

“I've been going to Taco Mayo since I was a young kid. I even remember the old jingle "The Place for your Money, Taco Mayo", lol. “This was a very interesting place. We went with the 4 course option that included dessert. If you dine here, plan on spending a lot of time. Our total time was 3 hours from start to finish. That is okay, had lots of time to talk. Each course is prepared, after 1 is finished, starting the the cheese fondue that we selected, then prepared at the table by the waiter. Next is the salad, of which there are several choices. The main dish, which you pick what you would like, then cook it yourself at the table. Finally the fondue dessert. The place is very clean, and the staff attentive through out.”

“I had the lunch buffet today and it was fantastic! All of the items were fresh and delicious. For $9.95 it is the best bargain you'll come across for the selection to choose from. I was there with a large group and the staff handled us very well. They were friendly, helpful and appeared to want to be there. I honestly had the best lunch I've had in a long time. I've had dinner here in the past and loved each dish I've tried but the lunch buffet is absolutely worth every penny and more. If you've never been here before stop by and give it a try. “An exquisite dining experience! It’s obvious that Chef Black has paid immense attention to every detail, from the decor to the garnishes. The menu was absolutely divine, and the portions were large. The wine pairing is definitely worth it, with one wine per course, and the wines were very well-curated. It was delightful to watch the food preparation, and Chef Black came around to speak with us midway through. “I love this place! The chocolate cigar is to die for. They have so many amazing sweets—the heart cookie is great, as are the tarts. There’s a great selection of savory treats, sandwiches, and soups as well! A Norman/OKC classic that any visitors or locals would do well to visit. I come here every time I’m in town! Parking tip: they validate parking in the garage, so it’s free! No need to street park if you can’t find anything.”
