“Whew. Actually figuring out where and when this place is open is a bit of work, and their website needs some help, but the BBQ is amazing. This is the most authentic Texas style brisket in Tulsa, and the chicken was fantastic as well. They do have a few unique takes on their sides and sauces, and I especially enjoyed their white sauce. This place is definitely worth tracking down, but you'll probably need to catch them early before they sell out of brisket.”

“Bought some Chebakia (sesame honey cookie) from the booth at the International Fair by the City of Norman today. I really wasn't expecting to see a "Moroccan cookie" sold there, so I was super excited! It tastes so good in a very unique way, and it's nothing like anything you can get from the States. For people who haven't tried these yet, it's like a thin pie crust toned down in terms of butter and sugar soaked in honey and sprinkled with sesame. The best thing about this cookie was that it's not one of those overpowering sugar-shock sweetness. The price ($15) was a bit expensive, but I was happy that I invested in the experience. I've had Moroccan food many times in a different country because I loved it so much. But seeing a collection of cookies and desserts was a rare experience for me. It was really nice of the seller that she cherry-picked the box of cookies with the prettiest shapes! I loved it, and my friend also loved it when he grew up in the countryside of Oklahoma and did not have much international experience with food. I hope I can visit her restaurant in Tulsa someday soon.”

“We really enjoyed our dinner here. The cabbage roll was delicious and was a meal in itself. We dug in so quickly that I didn’t get a chance to take a picture. Our main entrees were the rice plate and Tawook. Everything was great and the portions were large. The Tawook chicken was tender and juicy, the hummus was perfection, and the shrimp was cooked perfectly. Thank you to the owner for preparing our delicious meal!! We will be back soon!”

“Alpha Grill was the best overall bbq experience we’ve had in Tulsa! The food was all amazing and delicious! The wife of the couple who owns it was so friendly and really cares to make sure the people that eat at their restaurant have a great experience! We got ribs (sides potato salad and okra), the Alpha Burrito, the Alpha sandwich and the peach cobbler. Our 8 year old made a sandwich with his ribs and said it was the best sandwich he’s ever had! He also said the cobbler had the best “crust” he’s ever had! The potato salad was the best I’ve ever had! The okra was perfectly seasoned and crisp! Highly recommend and we will be back!”
