“THE best locally sourced and organic salad in town. All the food they prepare is made from scratch and with love. Happy, fresh veggies… what’s not to love! Thanks ladies!”

“1st time in Bend, 1st time dining here and it will definitely not be the last! We had the fried chicken special, seasoned like we do it in the south!! My companion enjoyed the collards seasoned with pork and creamed corn.. I enjoyed the garlic mashed potatoes with mushroom brown gravy and creamed corn. Nice portion size . Chef Dave you did that!! Huckleberry lemonade was the perfect adult beverage and lastly I almost forgot the deviled eggs were very very tasty! We will be back sooner than later, our waitress was very attentive and had fabulous suggestions.. Your mouth will thank you for dining here..”

“Ian always serves the freshest fish, and beautifully plated sashimi. A top place for sushi in Bend. It's a pop-up establishment-- the owner posts weekly updates on his Instagram, @KusshiNW”

“One of two coffee shops in Bend that deserve 5 stars. Complex flavors in drip coffee. Always have 2 choices. I like their Ethiopia best (either washed or natural), but also like some of their Central American coffee. Like the vibe and the baristas/order takers at this location. Eclectic music that I like. If there is one thing I would change, it would be to lower the volume a little so it would be easier to have a conversation. Come to Bend 5 to 8 times a year and always come here at least twice and pick up a bag of beans to take home.”

“This little restaurant is top notch! We showed up for an early dinner and they were able to slip us in without a reservation fortunately. From the get go, the server was very nice and helpful. The Caesar salad was SO delicious and set the bar pretty high immediately. The chicken parm was perfectly done, my wife's ravioli were fantastic as well. Don't sleep on their desserts either!”

“Went here for lunch on a weekend. Conveniently located downtown, food prices were reasonable, and beer was inexpensive. . Service was good considering our server was also on bar duty. The food was good and I highly recommend their tater tots. They look ordinary but somehow were some of the best tots I’ve had. I also recommend the buffalo burger and veggie burgers.”

“1) The Roam Salad is mixed lettuce with poached northwest pears, rogue creamery blue cheese, candied hazelnuts and champagne vinaigrette. It was very fresh and the dressing coverage was just right: not too much or little. Choice to add chicken or salmon. My salmon was cooked medium and was flavorful. Nice combo with the salad. 2) The Butternut Squash Bisque is some of the best I’ve ever had. More thick than other versions and I really enjoyed that. Staff was professional and on task. Bathrooms are in the adjoined hotel and very clean. Artwork is from there.”

“Great atmosphere and fantastic for date night! Visited for the first time this week and I was so happy with the meal. After reviewing the menu our server told us the specials for the night, immediately we changed our order to the specials! I ordered the Alaskan halibut with lemon tomato risotto, and my date ordered the orange-marinated rack of lamb with garlic potatoes. Both dishes were absolutely fantastic, our choice of wine didn't disappoint too! Our server was friendly without being overbearing or too attentive. Very satisfied and will return for another dinner!”

“The guys were super friendly and made an awesome atmosphere! My friend and I came in earlier today and were greeted with smiles and laughs and the guys were overly friendly cracking jokes with us and being playful the whole time they took our order. Food was amazing too!”

“Great place for breakfast or lunch! Lots of seating but you can always sneak a seat at the bar when it’s crowded. Spicy Bloody Mary is delicious but there is a full bar for other choices. Nitro coffee and other beverages. The Francesca breakfast sandwich is my favorite. A definite place to try if you are visiting Bend.”

“This was our first time dining at Jackalope and we were totally blown away! Everything we had was delicious, from our appetizers of bone marrow and stuffed mushrooms, to our entrees (I had the Halibut cheek risotto and my husband had the rack of elk). Oliver was an outstanding server with just the right amount of attentiveness. We can’t wait to go back!”

“Oh, WOW! I LOVE THIS PLACE! From their newspaper style menu to the black bear decor. Oh, and let's not forget about the food. All my family and I can say is YUMMMM. The cook was amazing as well. If you are not a cook or chef then you don't know how hard it is to find someone that can get eggs right. This place is a little pricey, but you definitely get you moneys worth. My country fried steak was so tender I didn't even need the steak knife. Our server was great too. She had a very pleasant attitude, fast and attentive to our needs. Thank you for the wonderful breakfast.”

“I stopped here on my way from Crater Lake back to Seattle. I had the tomahawk steak with a baked potato and a side of mushrooms. Fantastic steak! Cooked perfectly. I ate at the bar and the bartender was a great and friendly server. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are craving a fantastic steak while in Bend.”

“Thank you for an awesome evening with my friend and I. Your staff is amazing and so kind and taught us well. As long as you listen and follow the rules it will be a super fun time. I didn't know that axe throwing was so much fun. I am excited to go back again. Totally recommend going and experiencing it on your own.”

“Made a stop at Crux. It is dog friendly, with a large outdoor space. The beer was terrific, with lots of choices. I went for a fruited sour. I had their grilled cheese sandwich (amazing!) with a side salad, while my husband had tacos from one of the food trucks that also hang out at the brewery. Great place to relax, and we are glad we made it a stop on our road trip!”

“We were passing through Bend and we stopped at Olde Towne for dinner and this place was great. True to the reviews they put a ton of toppings on the pizza. Almost too much, as the pizza crust can barely hold up from the weight at times. But that's a better option than lack of toppings. The staff was super friendly and the place was clean, including the bathrooms. It does have an old times feel from a sit down pizza joint from the 80's. Two pizzas took about 30 minutes. But the place filled up quickly around 5:00pm in a Saturday so I imagine waits can get longer when super busy. The pizza tasted great, it just wasn't the best I've tasted that's why I gave 4 stars. But definitely a good pizza, I would visit again if passing through. Also there is additional parking in the back so you don't have to fight for a spot on the street.”

“I have been enjoying the excellent food and service for more than 25 years drive up or call ahead if you're in a hurry. The Grand Dandy and real strawberry shake is my personal favorite. They now have online ordering and accept debit/credit cards. Don't forget to sign up for reward points!”

“Had a great meal and great experience. Was greeted by the owner during our meal and asked how everything was. He noticed that I hadn’t really drank out of a strawberry/banana boba I had ordered, when asked why I had told him it was to sweet for my taste. Without hesitation he said “allow me I will make you a better one.” (And he did). Great food along with great customer service, recommended 💯 % ! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.”

“Comfortable spot to hang out on couches by a fire with a beer and tacos. Did not enjoy all the crowd or staff the place attracts, I left when the conversation with staff and clientele around the firepit centered around unemployment insurance keeping people from working.”
