“What a lovely surprise! We moved from the Seattle area (translated: great Chinese restaurants) to the Medford area 4 years ago and have found lots of great restaurants and food trucks but the local Chinese restaurants have been a disappointment. Until now. Orchid Gardens is a breath of fresh air—and fresh tasting food. We felt it was our duty to try as many dishes as we could handle to get a good variety: combination fried rice (a regular must for us), Mongolian Beef, Moo Shu Chicken (we’ve only ever had the pork version), salt and pepper shrimp, and Peking pork loin. First of all, the presentations were beautiful and the food was as good as it looked. The pork was tender and not over breaded, the mooshoo was flavorful and fresh tasting, the other dishes were delicious as well. But what topped things off was being served by Michelle (her American name) who go-owns the restaurant with her hubby. She was so pleasant and engaging, asked for our opinions on adding wine to the menu (currently they serve beer), shared her history and how they came to open the restaurant in January, and told us how they bought it from the previous owner who had a Thai restaurant there and so they also serve Thai Food (which we’ll have to sample next time) in honor of the family who had owned it. Getting to know the owner and their philosophies is definitely a plus for us. And for those who like a deal the food is very reasonable. They also deliver through DoorDash and GrubHub. Can’t recommend more highly!”

“I came in for dinner, and wow, it was delicious! Ken was my server, and he was awesome. He had great suggestions. The Basil Vinaigrette on the side salad was so flavorful and yummy. I ordered the Tri Tip with Pappardelle. It was a good portion of steak and not overwhelmed with the portion of pasta. The gorgonzola mushroom cream sauce was very flavorful, I even dipped some bread in it. Finally I finished with a delicious Tiramisu. It was light and fluffy. Even though it looked like a huge piece, it was easy to finish yourself. A great meal, worth every penny! I went back a second time. And had the Chicken Marsala with Risotto and Cremé Brulé. Both were delicious. I also enjoyed a couple of glasses of Tempranillo. Delicious!”

“Oh my! If you haven’t been here, you need to come like today! It’s a culinary gem of Southern Oregon! The staff—and owners—are extremely hospitable, the interior is so posh, cute, clean and trendy. And now on the food! I am Mexican and my mamás makes the best Mexican food. This means that when I done out and there is Mexican cuisine, my palate is quite discernible. “We always enjoy Bricktowne. They have a good beer selection and the food is good pub fare. The dirty bird is my husband's favorite thing to order. Sometimes the tater tots are a little heavy on the seasoning but that is a pretty mild complaint. I enjoy their burgers and today I tried their Cajun pasta bowl and really enjoyed it as well. We've gone for both lunch and dinner and we always get seated quickly and the staff are busy but friendly.”

“Elements came up in a Yelp search as ‘fine dining’ and my expectations were that I could get a nice meal with a glass of wine that didn’t come out of a box. While they have a decent selection of wines, I was not aware that 75%-80% were local wines. That’s not what I was expecting. I ordered the $19 Garlic Prawns and got a bowl of 6 medium sized shrimp swimming in butter with 3 small thin sliced pieces of sourdough. I almost ordered the ham wrapped asparagus but I was already $32 in for 6oz of wine and the shrimp appetizer. I give it 3 stars because for 2 or more upper middle income people, with the appropriate expectations, it’s probably a cool place.”

“Came here with a large group for a birthday dinner. The location has moved since the last time I was here several years ago. When we showed up they had one table seated filling out the whole grilling area. But it was really slow to get seated and drinks and ordered. The way staff mentioned that they were low on people so everything took a lot longer than you would expect, like I had to flag somebody down to get a drink of water. On the other hand the food was fantastic the meal was a huge portion and reasonably priced and cooked in front of you. I would come back again”

“I'm a health-conscious carnivore who loves this place! The family packs are top-notch, with superior meat quality. The manager is knowledgeable and fun to chat with, sharing details about the meat's source. Even though the cows eat some grain towards the end, the meat's still great. For those like me looking to maximize protein intake without breaking the bank, their bundles are perfect. You can get 60 pounds of meat for around $220, providing 2 pounds a day. Highly recommend the meat bundles. Although the store might seem sketchy, the employees are friendly and positive. Clean bathrooms and a wide selection of cooked goods are available. Personally, I'm a fan of their mac and cheese brisket. My only issue is that their cooked foods are a bit expensive, but the $6 once a week 1 lb for bacon is a win. One of my favorite stores, and I appreciate the hard work of all the employees and the manager. Keep it up! Edit: It's evident they care you can see a lot of replies to the reviews which can be rare in Southern Oregon. They even send a direct email to get in contact with if you had an issue so their can culture that out of the store. From what I can tell the leadership here is phenomenal and personal. The Employees usually always seem happy, and if they're not super enthusiastic, they don't look miserable, which most places do. I'm not sure if there's a medal for culture in workplaces but I feel like this place would win and even if there was news coverage of this business and how they treat their employees i know it'll be a grand run home of an positive story for the news station in this Valley.”

“I love this drive through especially when I'm craving something and don't know what to get, the people who work there are always friendly professional and always give me a suggestion when I don't have a clue what I want and always end up liking what they suggest and it's always nice that they let you know what they're serving you. “This is the best Mexican food I have had in the valley, and maybe anywhere. Far better than any sit down restaurant. It is very fresh, and high quality. So flavorful! The 3 hot sauces they had are all excellent with great flavor and spice. The person running the truck was super friendly. Had a street taco and nachos.
