“The Washburne was a great spot for a morning coffee and treat. They offer full plate meals (breakfast and lunch), and if the smiles on the patrons' faces were any indication, the food is tasty. My breakfast treat was tasty. There was a pleasant background taste of banana to complement the chocolate chips. It was too cookie to be a sweet bread, yet too substantial to be just a cookie. They offer table seating, bar seating, and a living room- like area. I experienced it as comfy despite the bustling energy of their mid-morning crowd. I will be back!”

“A flavorful taco experience! The owner and chef prepares tacos with made to order fresh tortillas that are fresh and perfectly cooked. A cult classic, Al Pastor, is beautifully paired with pineapple and is caramelized to perfection. Both red and green salsas are flavorful and spiced appropriately, this is certainly a great place to grab an authentic bite. An additional bonus is the friendly and prompt service!”

“Hands down the best lobster rolls I have ever had. I ordered one of the New England style rolls and one of the Connecticut style rolls and while they both taste significantly different, I couldn't tell you which was my favorite because they both were AMAZING! Also, customer service is fantastic. I had a little trouble finding the location at first but once I figured out, the chef was so friendly and genuinely happy I was there. Thank you Shawn for the delicious meal! *Side note, if you are having trouble finding the location, lobster frenzy and the black diamond cafe are the same place/building*”

“We love the Coburg location, it was the first time coming to this new location in Springfield. Most of what we ordered was pretty bland, coleslaw was great though. Everything was cooked just fine just missing that something. Place was also pretty empty, service was okay, food came out pretty fast.”

“It's a cool hole in the wall vintage diner decorated with antiques, mainly old plane and gas memorabilia. Apparently the building used to be a gas station so they kept that history alive with the decor. Me and my mom both got the ham and cheese stuffed French toast with an egg on top and it was DELICIOUS!! The french toast was very thick bread and the ham was smoked carved ham, not cold cut meat. Eggs were perfectly cooked. And it came with a side of hollandaise that was so good. Served with a small side of fruit, and it was only $10.50!! I'll definitely go back when I go back to visit Springfield!”

“The non-profit I worked for hosted a small poetry reading for the community last week at this venue and it went PERFECTLY - talk about an ideal venue for the event! The covered patio was big enough for the event, but not overwhelming, and we stayed completely warm and dry despite some showers during the event. The drinks were TOP notch and I enjoyed the food and the variety of items for purchase on the menu. I would definitely recommend to others!”
