“Stopped here for lunch today with my partner and I’m glad it we picked it. I got a chili dog, my partner got a BLT, and then we shared curly fries and mozzarella sticks. The lady who waited on us was very friendly and helpful and our food came out quick. Good, fresh, delicious bar food at a very good price. We would definitely come back when we visit again!”

“While on our visit to Newport, we had lunch at Clearwater and it was an overall great experience. My husband ordered the crab Mac n cheese and it was amazingly delicious! They make it with truffle oil, which we love. The crafted non alcoholic drinks were also very good. My step daughter enjoyed the sweet blood orange lemonade. We also shared an order of crab cakes. Although they were a bit pricey, they were also very tasty! Our server was very pleasant and accommodating. The view of the harbor was beautiful. We would definitely go here again sometime.”

“Don’t let the outside of the building fool you. This restaurant has an excellent chef. Quality food with the expert chef makes tasty meals…. BLT on home made bread, creamy clam chowder and veggie burger cook just right. When you visit the bay front, don’t pass up this Gem! 4/14/2022”

“Service was impeccable here. We got plenty of refills on the drinks, waitresses were very patient with our long list of orders, and providing fresh plates and silverware for each round of our dishes. Strawberry lemonade was a great pairing with all the seafood, sweet and tart. Dishes were fantastic. Oysters were extremely fresh, and were perfect. We ended up coming here 2 nights in a row. Must get the crab cakes. Those things are the best crab cakes I’ve had. Chocolate avocado mousse dessert was a pleasant surprise. Would recommend. Scallops were on point. A dish we got came with some asparagus, and it was the best damn asparagus I’ve eaten in my life. Would come back to Newport for that alone.”

“Food the mostly fried but it's the best kind of fried fish, scallops, shrimp, and oysters you can find. Crispy and not at all greasy. Love their fries too. Captains platter is the one to go for if you're not sure what you want. The oyster Shooters are quite gigantic and already has a health dose of horseradish underneath. Go early. Huge rush during lunch time.”

“I met a friend this morning and we tried Jack Sprats for the first time. We arrived a half hour before it opened so we ended up sitting outside the Embarcadero overlooking the bay. When the restaurant opened, we were greeted by Jason, the manager. He was super friendly, entertaining, and had a wonderful personality first thing in the morning! Our food came out quickly and was delicious. This will definitely be added as a new breakfast spot that we will visit more regularly.”

“We love staying at the Embarcadero. We have stayed here many times and over many years. We're staying in a one bedroom w Murphy queen bed in living room. The bathroom has a nice king bed. The bathroom has a wide deep bathtub. There is a full kitchen and round dining table which is good for us to play sequence on. The balcony looks straight out over the bay to the bridge. Water is right at our feet and you can hear the Sea Lions. We're far enough away this time to not be bothered by their barking. So, We couldn't ask for more! The other amenities include an indoor swimming pool. There are many fine wonderful restaurants near by and along the waterfront. We ate at Nana's Irish Pub which has great food! Seafood is tomorrow's dinner along the waterfront. You should come sometime and you to could enjoy this wonderful place in Newport, OR.”

“Wife and I stumbled across Mollie's when we pulled off to take a look at the antique mall nearby and thankful that we did. Mollie and her shop are awesome. If you stop in, don't let appearances dissuade you from getting lunch. The sandwiches were the best we've ever had. Homemade bread made my Rueben and the wife's tuna sandwich out of this world tasty!! Not to mention the fantastic baked goods. Had the chocolate baklava and can't recommend it enough. Will be coming back next time we're in the area.”

“Our First Visit. Wolf Tree Brewery and Cafe is closed Mondays and Tuesdays. We enjoyed The Wild Margarita and the Tropical Cosmic Crisp (Cider on Tap). The Margarita is topped off with a Wolf Tree Brute Squad Wild Ale (sour). This was all very different. Excellent specialty drinks. Also tried the vegetarian taco plate and the three tacos were excellent. This is an off the beaten path tap room worth a try. They have a very large selection of brews, as you might expect at an Oregon tap room.”

“The staff here was great. The food was equally great. The prices were surprisingly low. I feel like I've shorted myself for living here for months, but just now getting in there to eat. I will absolutely be back. Especially for the nightly specials. I had perfect fish and chips for 12 bucks. I look forward to trying a cocktail on my next visit.”
