Maybe it would be better if I spoke Spanish I don’t know, but as an English speaker it’s a little difficult. “A great authentic Mexican restaurant! Its small and right next door to a cannabis dispensary so you're greeted by the smell of good food and weed right when you walk in! There's inside seating where they bring you chips and salsa, I ordered the chicken enchiladas and I was not disappointed as can happen all to frequently up here in Portland. Their food was fresh and delicious just like I remember when I was a kid. Nothing will beat my Hispanic grandmother's cooking but this place comes close! Being a Mexican myself I tend to discriminate against unauthentic Mexican food. This place passes my test with flying colors!”

“My colleagues and I love going to this great little Mexican restaurant. Parking is plentiful, although getting into the lot may require driving south on 99. The service is fast and the prices won't break the bank. Not to mention they give decent sized portions. I've had their tacos, enchiladas and chicken salad. All three have been filling and very good. I'd definitely recommend this place for a quick lunch.”

Only critique I’d have is the girl’s bathroom—I didn’t love how there were double doors opposite the main door (it was like an added on storage area, where you could barely see into the crack between the double doors, which made it look almost like someone was on the other side). I won’t deduct stars for that, even though it is part of the entire restaurant experience, because I genuinely did like the people and the food so much, and a lot of people won’t even end up using the girl’s bathroom, lol!”

I suggest you use 2 bowls. 1 for your meat selection(s) and another bowl for your vegetables... Your dish is cooked on a open grill in front of you by Excellent and Entertaining chefs!!! Be sure to ask for white sticky rice and wraps, when you waitress / waiter asks about your choice of soup... Nice added bonus is a dish of vanilla ice cream with a choice of toppings at the end of your meal!!! * My only complaint or suggestion would to be offer individual "tongs" to each customer to pick food ingredients with. As unfortunately, not all customers wash their hands before entering the food line...”

“I used to love this place. Food was always fresh. Wait wasn't too bad because the food was great. Lately I've been addicted to the jalapeno poppers. Something about that extraneous amount of crispy breading, tiny and yummy jalapeno chunks, and oozing cheddar yellow flavor heaven petroleum product just had me savoring every bite. I used to thoroughly enjoy paying 44.333 cents per unit. Then suddenly they increased in price to a clean 57 cents per pop. Today I just paid 66.6 cents per spicy saturated cheese bread snack popper. Since this number is a mark of everything I find holy and celebratory (hail Satan)- I'm going to be a good anarchist and BOYCOTTING CARL'S FOR LIFE. After a solid 14 hours in the classroom today, thank you so very much for shorting me on the one thing I was really looking forward to when I took it my socks and hung out with my lizard out (my bearded dragon will never eat any of your tomatoes or fries ever again!) I hope you're happy, now I have to find a new dealer, er place to score, err source for my caloric cancer driven obsessions. ????????????????????????????????????????????????????????”

“Came in for the first time yesterday for take out. This spot is a littler different then most but its actually pretty cool. You walk up to the counter and place your order buffet style. They cut your meat right there in front of you! I had the brisket, mac/cheese, and coleslaw. Everything was perfect and great! The mac could use some flavor as its a little bland but still good! Will def be eating here again. Oh, and the staff...super helpful and polite :)”

“Tonight was my first time at Pastini and I ordered the Mac and cheese. It was definitely a gourmet Mac and cheese, not your typical Kraft style Mac and cheese. The garlic bread that came along with the meal was fantastic and I’m not a garlic fan. Would I come back? Definitely yes. The service was spot on and if you want a place to go with good service and good food then make sure to come here. I was very impressed that they had a large vegetarian selection which were vegan.”

“I went to the Bridgeport restaurant for Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner. Thanksgiving was wonderful. The food and service were both fantastic. Christmas was not so great. The food was just okay. The creme brulee was liquid, literally, not thick or creamy. There was staff running all over the place but service was slow. Our waiter seemed to have tables in every corner rather than being able to concentrate on one area. You could tell he was exhausted and it wasn't very late in the day. I'll try it again some weekend to see how the service and food are on a regular business day but if it's not stepped up from this last visit I won't be back.”
