“Don’t let the name fool you. You won’t be buying hardware at the bridge cafe general store. It is a sandwich shop. Top quality beef and chicken steak sandwiches. They also offer a variety of other choices including burgers, dogs, chicken etc. Boars Head quality meats for the subs and and sandwiches. Chicken steak with onions was outstanding. The general store also contains a candy shop. Very hospital owners and employees. Inside and outside eating accommodations. However, Just like the rest of new hope You’re on your own for parking.”

“I mean we got very "lucky" to be able to seat in the shared table by the fire place and spoke to two different couples while there. (Great conversation). The place definitely has a charm, lots of character. The waitress basically took out order and we never saw her again. The service was definitely not great. I get it, it is a tourist place. The food was just ok for Pub food. I had ten thousand times better. It was great for one visit but next time we will go elsewhere for good food. The fries were burn, the devil eggs were just plain, nothing special, the salad had too much dressing. The burger was very good, cooked to perfection.”

“This restaurant will always be special to my fiance and I as it's the one I chose for dinner after my surprise proposal at Goat Hill Overlook. That being said, I'm very glad that I chose Cafe Blue Moose. The affordable Prix Fixe menu was very appealing to me, and I heard many good things about their food - now I can back that up. For my first course, I had the Pickled Beets & Goat Cheese. This ended up being a perfect example of how two flavors can go together so well and you'd never know it. Who would have thought beets and goat cheese matched up so perfectly? It came with perfectly toasted bread, and my meal was off to a great start. For my main, I got the Flat Iron Steak which was also exceptional. Cooked perfectly, and very flavorful. Our server was friendly and prompt, and the experience overall was fantastic. My fiance loved her meal as well. Being BYOB is an added bonus as well. We'll absolutely be back.”

“Walking into new hope is great and when I looked for a great place to eat, I saw this pizzeria. Stepped in and the decor is beautiful and feels like Italy. “Nina’s is always a great final stop for curing my sweet tooth when I go to New Hope. It’s waffles and ice cream, for God’s sake. Waffles are made fresh right in front of you. Normally my wife and I go to the upper location on mechanic street, however earlier we tried their new Main Street location. The waffles and ice cream were still great! However the service was a little lackluster. Two high school-esque teenagers were running things, and despite us being the only two customers in the place, they had to ask us for our orders three more times. Aside from that, the final product was great.”

“My husband brought me there last night for dinner to celebrate my birthday. It did not disappoint. Charming and cozy w a friendly staff who aim to please. His pork chop was flavorful and juicy. My scallops were seared to perfection. We remarked at how focused and calm the chef was as he worked in a tiny open kitchen creating dish after dish. Reservations are a must. Unfortunately, the space is so small that they can’t allow you to wait inside if your table isn’t ready. On a cold night, be prepared to be dressed warm enough during your wait. But, the wait is worth it.”

“Small cozy cool bar with good burgers and tater tots. There is a performance space below with tables and pue seating that has entertainment 365 days a year, so that's great. Open Mic is every Monday. TINY TIM PLAYED THERE in the 80's !It also has a poster in the bar of local new hope cult-rock band Ween, because that's where they played on the early years. And I'm a fan, so that's a huge inspirational plus . New hope is an artsy tourist town and this bar is great to check out and it's full of the cool eclectic locals”

“I have been to Havana 2 times, once in April 2017 and yesterday. Love the menu and on each visit, my waiters were attentive and friendly. The chili, wings and onion rings were delicious and plentiful. We ended up taking our entrees to go, the Chicken Marsala and the Thai Salmon. The grilled asparagus was scrumptious. We will be returning soon and it’s worth the trip from Central Delaware.”

“Was refinishing a hardwood floor 5 minutes away it was the only place where you can actually see how beautiful it looks inside from the outside. That was enough for me to try the place. The tuna was delicious, not an easy meal to prepare it was fresh as were the cole slaw. I was there 15 minutes before they open :-l yet the staff were friendly and accommodating. “We were hesitant to go here because of so many negative reviews however a friend recommended it as well as the show on the other side of the door so we went. Our server did a great job as he was personable, knew the menu and everything arrived at the table punctually. We thought our dinners were excellent with one exception. The wedge salad was an expected wedge of iceberg lettuce but swimming in albeit excellent blue cheese dressing with the fried prosciutto consisting of three microscopic particles. $10. I pointed this out to the server and a truly good experience would have meant they deduct it from the bill. They did not. Still, we will gladly return and the outside wall will roll up overhead in warm weather with the outside deck being a nice place to grab a drink overlooking the river. Yes there are four rest rooms opening into part of the dining room but not near the tables. Yes I would prefer not to sit across from them however I don’t think it would be a deal breaker.”

“Ordered a double burger on greens with bacon and tomato. Food was served warm, meat was pleasantly browned, tomatoes tasted fresh, bacon was thick and crispy, very satisfying. The people I came with loved the cookies and cream milkshake so much they ordered an extra. They serve Maine Root sodas which is also a plus. Cole slaw did not taste sweetened, which is exactly what I wanted, but not everyone's taste.”
