“Avola was a delightful experience. The decor is modern but warm. The tables are big enough to hold all the different course you can get. The cocktails were fantastic!! The small plates we began with were fantastic! The entrees we each had, were excellent. My steak was cooked to perfection & the seasonings were delicious!!! Instead of dessert, we shared a Hot Buttered Rum! Oh my goodness, it was creamy & reminded both of us of the buttered rum candies we ate as kids!!! Our server was knowledgeable, friendly & served everything in a timely manner! We will not wait too long, before going back! We both loved it!!!”

“I love the subs!!! My go to is The Hook & Ladder! However I would not recommend ordering ahead. I had an experience tonight where I ordered well in advance (1/2 hour) and when I arrived (on time) 3 people were ordering at the counter so I stood at the appropriate spot where a sign indicated "online pick up". Two people were behind the counter, 1 taking orders and 1 making subs. They both saw me standing there but neither approached or spoke to me. Thinking that the one making the subs was still making my order in addition to the counter orders I waited. 10 minutes later after the counter orders were complete the "sub maker" took off his gloves and went into the back room. Finally the order person looked my way and I asked her if she had an online order ready. She said yes and gave me the prepared order which was sitting on the back counter (perhaps on a warmer/toaster of some sort). I only live 4 minutes away and by the time I got home they were only slightly warm in the center. Again I love the subs but I think from now on I will order when I get there.”

“We don't make it out as much as we used to but the buffet here is awesome. The price is just hard to beat and the food is delicious. After having a lot more authentic places, it is definitely Americanized but still delicious and much less Americanized than many places. When I used to work around the corner we would eat here every week. Still my favorite Chinese place close to home. I almost always did the buffet. I do regular order there general tso or sesame chicken. Their sesame chicken is my favorite.”

“Great atmosphere and food. The wait staff is very nice, and the food was a reasonable amount of wait time. The food was not service to hot, it was ready to eat when it came to the table. All three meals along with the guacamole chips were all very good. It also settles in the stomach well, making me feel full and satisfied. Even if you don’t like Mexican food you’ll still find something here you will enjoy!”

“So... The food was great, the space was terrific. We walked in on a snowy Sunday as a party of 12 and they were happy to quickly accommodating. We had a great meal, paid our bill and as we we're rounding up to leave... We were told by the chef "uhhhhm... This is a family place - but we need you to get your kids out of here. ". I try honestly, to be understanding. Our kids were definitely in the way, while we were just finishing up and getting things together. It would have been kind, however, if they could have first come and said... We'd appreciate it if you could help keep the kids in one area, while we're walking around, etc. But. Seriously, I do get it. Just a little bummed about the way it was handled. ????”

I am local and have made it a new staple for going out on any occasion. The servers are nice and the chef/owner Joseph is very friendly.
