“Came for lunch. Love that they have a salad/ soup bar as an option. Everything was fresh and the soup (chicken rice for me, ham bean for my husband) was tasty. He had the meatball sub and said it was very good. Meatballs seemed homemade. They melt the cheese on the roll before putting on the sauce so your bun doesn't get soggy... genius! We will be back!”

“We will start with the positives. The food was really good, the staff were very friendly, and we did not have to wait long for our food to be finished. I had the Shrimp and Scallops, and they were high quality pieces of seafood, (not frozen and small.) The noodles had great flavor, and it comes with two little sides of ginger and Yumyum sauce. Now the constructive criticism. The meal cost $15.99, and there were only 4 pieces each of shrimp and scallops. There was a ton of noodles, but the hibachi vegetables and seafood only seemed to be garnishes for the noodles. If you are going to charge dinner prices, you have to give dinner quantity. I would have paid $9.99 or $10.99 at most for what I got. It's pretty clean, it's new, and it's a small independent business. They have the market cornered as far as food type and location, so if people are willing to pay a little extra, the food taste is worth it. Kind of like going to an amusement park ... if you want it, you have to pay for it.”

“Had a great working lunch take out from Takashi past Monday. The food was made very quickly and fresh. Service is top notch. Most importantly, food is outstanding. They have some special sushi rolls that is made of black rice. It has very unique and light sweet flavor and texture. Please try it out on their forbidden rice roll menu. Definitely, I will come back for lunch again.”

“This location has changed names to Wingcraft Brewing and Tavern. But make no mistake, this is still much like an Aroogas that it used to be. Only now, the focus is on in-house beer. For their beers, I had an Vanilla Espresso Porter and a Grapefruit IPA. They weren’t offering flights on my visit, but the list was largely limited to four styles: wheat, IPAs, porters, and ciders. Could’ve used a Pilsner or something else to balance it out, but they’re still finding their footing. They also had a list of your standard Budweiser products. It’s fine, but I wouldn’t really come here just for the beer again, unless they have something special. For food, I ordered a chicken wrap. It came with fries, but the write itself had more croutons than chicken. My partner got a soup and salad, which was fine (although it was again heavy on croutons). The food menu looked unchanged from Arooga’s fare, so wings and stromboli looks to be the highlights. Masks were enforced and distancing looked good, although it was a slow Sunday morning for our visit. The place was clean but there wasn’t much decor to speak of, aside from TVs. To summarize, it’s a very middle of the road experience, and I would like to see more attention put into the tap list to keep it diverse.”

“Everything I’ve ever gotten here is 10/10. Amazing food, pretty large portions, reasonably priced. I recommend the well done brisket and flank steak pho, anything with the grilled chicken, chicken wings, or the spring rolls. You won’t regret it.”

“Typical American Chinese takeout food conveniently located inside the Giant Supermarket. This is the second Taipei Chinese Kitchen I've visited. The appearance and organization of its takeout menu is totally different from the one in Enola, but the dishes are similar, if not identical. It strikes me as very odd that even the logos are different but contain the same elements (island of Taiwan inside a circle, but different suns, and different fonts). It almost feels like this is a "bootleg" version of the other establishment. LOL.”

“Really good pizza! The white pizza is among the best I've had and their regular cheese pizza is also really good, as good if not better than anything else I've had in this area. Looking forward to trying other options in the future. Fantastic location for good food to residents that live in the area.”

And if you want the ultimate party for your taste buds then you have to have their brisket and burnt ends. “This place! This place! Four years ago I took my wife to Puerto Rico for her birthday. I have chased the dragon searching for the flavors of Puerto Rico since we got back (especially MOFONGO}! This place ticks every mark for me- the plantains are perfect (and in the mofongo it has the perfect amount of garlic), the meat is absolute perfection. We’ve eaten here the last two Fridays, and I wish I could do it every night. The Boricua platter is probably the tastiest dish in Carlisle. Go here! Keep them in business!!!”
