“Flavorful options that range from vegetarian to duck. We ordered the appetizer platter to sample a handful of items. We also had miso soup to start. Drunken noodles was nice and spicy but they are served on a bed of lettuce which I found unnecessary, especially because it’s a warm dish on cold lettuce. I added chicken to the dish. My husband ordered the crispy duck which looked amazing. It came with fried Thai basil and a side of rice. There was a ton of seating and parking was easy to find. I can’t wait to come back and try more dishes.”

“For one even before I was a Gettysburg local I supported Battlefield Brew Works and helped letting people know about it. Now that my family and I are finally Gettysburg locals we love going to have dinner and listen to live music. It’s a great place for families and friends to enjoy great drinks and food while listening to live music. For those coming to Gettysburg for trips make sure you check out Battlefield Brew Works. Oh and just for those who are veterans or active military it’s very Veteran owned.”

“The Boris was very good, and the Mac and cheese was fantastic. The pork pizza was delicious, and the Brisket was very good, the dancing chicken sandwich was also very good and the smoked potatoes. Will definitely go back! And you owe it to yourself to give it a try.”

“It's my go-to spot and I know a lot of the bartenders and fellow patrons. It's Smokey and it's a dive bar but I love it. The food is far from Gourmet but it's super cheap and it hits the spot when you need to soak up some alcohol. It's far enough outside of town that it's not overrun with college students. It's where I go when I want to get out.”

“This was my first time here. I ordered the spicy chicken fingers and loaded fries. The chicken fingers were amazing. The batter was perfect and the chicken was actual real fresh chicken. This will definitely be my new chicken place:) the loaded fries were good but I should have gotten the toppings on the side because it was mush by the time I got home. That’s on me. The quality of the food was still incredible even mushy lol. The guy that helped me was very nice and explained everything they had in detail. And he was friendly. Anyone who lives in Philly knows that this alone is enough to make you want to go back. So this place definitely deserves 5stars in my opinion”

“We could not get enough of the tasty NA cocktails at Nutmeg in East Passyunk. The Black and Gold is creamy and just enough sweet. Our favorite bite so far is the well paired tuna chickpea crostini. And the bouquerones are a must, even if you don’t think you like anchovies. Atmosphere and hospitality were top notch. Brian the owner makes you feel welcome and excited to try new things.”

“Counter service bakery with made to order food. Sandwiches and brunch items. The area was very busy for the Halloween street event. Food was made quickly still and was good. The potatoes were perfectly seasoned. Frittata and other egg items were all the exact same ingredients, other than changing what cheese was included, so it was a bit repetitive of a menu. Not really different options that way. Same deal with sweets: pancakes, French toast, etc all had the same toppings. Cronut was very good, would love to come back and try other bakery items.”

“Just moved to the neighborhood this week and wanted a salad. Gave Pizzata a try and I’m so glad I did!!! I picked up the Panzanella Salad with grilled chicken. It was a little pricey but the ingredients were so fresh and flavorful. Wish I could buy the dressing in a bottle! The employee who gave me my order was so friendly and gave me plates and silverware because I’m still moving in. Can’t wait to try more food there.”

“Not sure why this place only has 30ish reviews. That’s crazy. I had to take a picture before I polished the rest. I got the crazy calabrese with extra pepperoni and sweet sausage. It’s toasted to perfection , crisp. The flavors are on point. However , I didn’t notice I ordered a pizza without cheese 😅, but I’d def order the same thing again. With cheese next time ! (Also, North Jersey here, we take out pizza very serious. )”

“I've been coming to B&C for years now, and recently got my wedding cake from them as well. They are always very kind, friendly, and helpful. The coffees are always tasty as well as the food and sweets! I love how they are pet friendly, always participating in clothing drives and putting up notices for pets looking for forever homes. The clean and spacious bathroom is also a huge plus. Overall it's a very comfortable atmosphere inside. 10/10 recommend.”

“I give them 5 stars! Every time I come here the food and the vibes are amazing. It’s a small vegan cafe. Family owned and you can taste the quality time and live they put into their food. I always get the chickpea dumpling soup which is so delicious; very flavorful! I also like their Alkaline BBQ Platter and smoothies. Anything on the menu is a hit honestly. Everything is always made fresh too. So that’s a bonus! They also have loose wildcrafted herbs and sea moss for purchase. Come check them out.”

“I saw the ratings (4.9) and immediately wanted to try this place out. I went on a Thursday (one of two days they do soul food; Thurs and Sun). I ordered the whiting platter with mashed potatoes and Mac. Oooooook. The service was awesome. The lady that took my order was super friendly, kind, and polite. The place is CLEAN and offers a comfy place to sit and wait for your food (which for me was ready quickly; less than 10 minutes). The fries whiting: The portion size was good. The flavor was well above average. If I had to do a Kieth Lee impression I'd rate the fried whiting a solid 7.9 out of 10. That's says a LOT because believe it or not, it's HARD to find good fried whiting in Philly. This place came thru. The Mac n cheese: 8.1 out of 10. It's just a good solid serving of Mac n cheese. The seasoning and flavor and consistency are all on point. Again, y'all know how hard it is to find good soul food in Philly. The Mashed potatoes: 6.8 out of 10. The consistency was good, it tasted like they put care into it. But they didn't offer gravy or butter (they might have, but they didn't ask me if I wanted some of them had it). All in all, if this place stays consistent with their recipes, their portion sizes, their menu, and their posted hours of operation, they quickly become people's go too for Philly's lacking soul food scene. And oh yeah, this place is BIG on breakfast which I haven't tried yet but will. I highly recommend this place 😁”
