“Amazing food! Hand made chips are off the charts! Smash burger is amazing! Spicy fried chicken sandwich was delicious!!! Bartenders are exactly what you want from a “neighborhood corner bar”. Has a very welcoming “cheers” vibe where everyone feels like they know you and all are welcome! Will definitely be back!”

“My kids really enjoy this campground. There is a lot going on to keep them entertained and the water area is fantastic. Highly recommend the upper sites unless you want to spend a fortune on a golf cart. There were a few things we were unhappy about: On Tuesday, 8/1, they seemed very understaffed. Two of the girl life guards just sat openly on their phones rather than watching the pool like they are supposed to. It seemed like these young girls were just doing what they wanted and that there was no adult in charge making sure that they were doing their job. The other girl would at least try to hide her phone behind her floating device, but the other girl was ignorant enough to just openly sit on her phone the entire time she was watching the slide area. The water was freezing! Seems unreasonable for end of July/beginning of August. Unfriendly staff. Most people we had interaction with were not very friendly. Hardly anyone was smiling and seemed happy and willing to be there working - all young kids. The man that checked to see if we were about to check out (prior to check-out), was very unfriendly as well. He was sure to tell me that we had 6 minutes left. Keep in mind that although we were trying to enjoy every minute of our time, we were almost ready to pull out. If we were there 15 or 20 minutes past check out, I could see being addressed that way, but prior to check-out is inappropriate when it isn't in a professional/friendly manner. On the other hand, the men running the carousel and train were super friendly. The one young boy that was working the slides at the bottom of the hill on Monday (7/31) at the end of the day (he was also at the top of the slides on Wednesday 8/2), was also very nice and personable. The traffic is horrible!!! Between vehicles and golf carts, it is scary to let you kids ride bikes. Too long to check-in. Although it isn't obvious based on this post, I am not one to complain. However, the service here just rubbed me the wrong way. When I pay these prices for a campground, I expect good interactions between the workers and guests - similar to a hotel.”

“The food here was decent. The prices were also fair. We were very lucky that we got here a little early because the lines were huge after we placed our order. The reason I gave the concession stand only 3 stars is because after ordering ( only 3 people ahead of us), we had to wait almost 20 minutes for French fries. The raspberry ice tea tasted so watered down, not sweet and didn’t really taste any raspberry. The veggie cup with ranch was pretty good. The soft pretzel and nacho cheese were good.”

“The food was absolutely delicious with daily specials. The waitstaff was very friendly and the owner was congenial. What a great atmosphere, good food and good music! I highly recommend this place. We'll be back next weekend 😊”

“I have been in here a few times now since new ownership took over. Finally a cool little sports bar type atmosphere in the area. The wings are some of the best around. Prices are reasonable and great service.”

“Great little beer pop-up with a dog park. Has a nice little patio for drinking your beer or some tables in the dog park if you have your doggo with you. Nice selection of beer available in cans or on draft. They have some merch available. Not a lot of shade, but a great stop! Also very close to the bike trail.”

“We loved the doublewide, but the sporkpit food is even better. Excellent, and still a casual, relaxed atmosphere.”

“The space is modern with clean lines and neutral colors but it is VERY loud. The music was set too loud for a space that lacks anything to dampen the sound. It gets expensive quickly, but I suppose this is a function of the current economy. Through the Garden toast ($14) was tasty, with quality ingredients. Hen's Hash ($15) was bland and sparse in the advertised vegetables. Additionally, I ordered ONE house-made sausage patty ($4), which was very good. Service was great!”

“I recently got the white raspberry truffle cake from here for my birthday, and oh my goodness! It was truly amazing. We chose this place on a whim because we didn't plan ahead to order a cake from one of our usual bakeries, but I'm so happy we ended up ordering from here because it was literally one of the best cakes I've ever had. Perfectly sweetness level (not overly sweet, which is a big pet peeve), the cake texture was insanely fluffy and moist and delicious, and the flavors were so perfect together. The cake was gorgeous too. This is my new go to bakery and we will be ordering from here a lot!! HIGHLY recommend!”

“Cozy spot for a decent cup of coffee. I was really impressed with the comfort and the seating. It was a perfect spot to have a good conversation with a friend. The yogurt bar was also a nice plus. Although rather expensive, $8 for a yogurt bowl, you could pick any toppings you want, and all toppings were fresh. If I lived in the area, I would likely frequent more often, most likely do work there with the comfort and the ample space.”

“Don't sleep on this neighborhood gem. The shrimp, chicken, and onion rings are excellent (especially if you like that flavor dust that's everywhere these days). Incredibly friendly with great prices. The pizza is huge (this was a medium!). Support local and have some delicious food in the meantime. Just gotta get some Heinz ketchup packets and throw away the Hunts 😂”

“One very specific thing I will say, I never order chicken at restaurants because it’s usually flavorless and dry but I took a chance on the Salt Mine chicken and it is PHENOMENAL. I ate every single bite and ordered it on two separate occasions. The orzo that comes with it is to die for, it comes with carrots which normally I’m not a fan of but I can’t help but finish my entire plate. This is the best chicken I’ve ever tasted and best meal I’ve ever had. I can’t recommend it enough. The staff there is kind and down to earth. We normally get take out and the staff even offered us a beverage while we waited. Amazing all around.”

“Whoever did the remodel on this restaurant did an amazing job, the environment is clean and well decorated. Shelby was our waitress and she was super friendly and attentive to our order. The food was cooked well, could be more seasoned but that might be just my personal preference. Ordered tiramisu to go and it was delicious and well worth the price. For people who might say it's overpriced.. think about the quality and atmosphere you're paying for.. I don't mind paying extra when it's worth it.”

“Beautiful restaurant on a golf course. Very nice deck. Excellent staff and service. But the food was less than great. Cheese was cheap and terrible. When you are not a meat eater, you are dependent upon side dishes and salads. You could certainly pick it up a notch. The country music playing throughout the restaurant was a downer. Too bad! Overall a nice place.”

“Combined a scoop of edible chocolate chip cookie dough with scoop of vanilla ice cream. It was Sunday at 5ish and very quiet in town so we sat on the bench outside of Cookie Dope and ate our treats. Cost $15 for the two of us to grab dessert there. Several choices of cookie doughs to select from in order for it to be bit different than other ice-cream places. The cookie dough made the cost worth it to try something new tonight. The young woman working today was super kind.”

“Relaxed environment and neatly organized. Myself and a friend went with splitting a crab Rangoon, each a bubble tea and a freestyle bowl. Love that they had a piece of paper that we could mark off instead of having to verbally say what we wanted. The employees were so kind and helpful, and encouraging about our choices. Crab rangoon was so good, I could have kept ordering them, so so good and crunchy, filling had great flavor. The bowls were a work of art. Only one feedback, it would be neat to get an option for extra sauce on the paper.”
