“My God!! Been in Beaufort for almost a year and drive by this establishment basically everyday and pay no mind. Finally I broke down and had an itch for seafood. First Impressions are nice. Very clean and easy going ambient music. Staff very quickly sat me and the family down in a very spacious booth gave the daily specials. THE TABLE HUSH PUPPIES AND BREAD WITH GUAVA BUTTER...DAMN! Food all prepared and tabled with fairly decent time and it all tasted great. My wife enjoyed her shrimp and grits. My son enjoyed his kids pizza and I dessimated a very large steam pot of crab legs. Will return with the family.”

“We have recently moved to Beaufort and I was given a gift certificate to Miramare. We invited our new neighbors to join us and we enjoyed a wonderful evening with excellent food. We started with Brochette that was excellent! Salads were excellent and I am not a fan of ranch dressing but tried it and it was delicious. The ravioli was good but I think I would try another entree next time that might be more filling. The halibut I was told was excellent and my husband had chicken parmesan that he said was delicious! We enjoyed great deserts and wine and will definitely return soon! Great job, nice people and the atmosphere reminded me of a European cafe!”

“We are regulars st Maria's, because the service is ALWAYS excellent, the food is very good, the portions are large, all for a reasonable price. The Burrito Americana is huge, large enough to fill our teenage sons by itself, which isn't easy. My wife and I have gone their and ordered simple things like taco salad, tacos, and enchiladas and received the food WITHIN TWO MINUTES! Fast food at a good sit down restaurant. Very impressive. Last night, I got a soup, Siente mares, I think. It had seven types of seafood, shrimp, mussels, octopus, squid, scallops, imitation crab meat, and another. It was unique in that the broth smelled like seafood. It was excellent. Do yourself a favor and take your family to Maria's”

“Disclaimer: this was their first day so I will be direct but yet give them a bit of a break. First I would like to say all the food was very good and authentic Detroit Coney dogs. I grew up in Jackson Michigan where the Coney Dog was first invented, so I know a thing or two about Coney dogs and if you wish to have an original Coney Dog this is the place. Con: we ordered two orders of fries and we're given only one, we take half responsibility because we did not check. The onion ring portion was way below the normal number with only four small onion rings Conclusion: the restaurant needs a Michigan Coney Island feel, with South Carolina charm which could be done with more photos on the walls. The staff were very friendly and dedicated and with time, effort and attention to detail this could be the very best Coney Island hot dog restaurant in Beaufort South Carolina.”

“My experience was wonderful as I was searching for healthy vegan choices and meat alternatives. Loved the taco salad, tuna salad and the juice bar choices. The place is exceptionally clean and the design attractive both inside and outside. They have covered tables outdoors. It's a bit pricey...but worth it. Service was good and staff friendly. The location is awesome on a corner a block from the waterfront park so you can walk there and/or downtown too.”

“Q’s Chicken Shack on Sea Island Parkway in Beaufort is a great place for all things fried chicken, chicken sandwiches, and sides. I really like the location that has a nice relaxed feeling of a roadside diner inside and a good area to eat outside with fresh air. Everything here is delicious and well made with the fried chicken that is cooked to order and comes out fresh and warm. I also really like their french fries and onion rings and the different sauces that come with everything. The staff here is very friendly and does a good job at making you feel welcome and works hard to make sure that you have everything you need. Overall they do a really good job here and are well worth a visit if you are in the area.”

“This is actually one of the only good Burger Kings I've ever been to. The staff is polite, the food is always fresh and well made (not just tossed sloppily together) and the wait is usually not long at all. Also when you say "thank you" the workers actually respond unlike most fast-food places. My only complaint is that I wish they'd utilize both windows instead of just the one so that I wouldn't have to pull forward to wait for my food or have to honk at some moron who doesn't know how to pull forward enough this blocking me from the window.”
